Delicious food and friendly service.

The staff is friendly, but you have to keep asking for drinks. It wasn't busy, and there were three people behind the bar. We had to send back a meal twice; once the adjustment wasn't correct, and the second time it was severely burnt. Desserts also didn't go smoothly, and they even forgot to serve coffee that we ordered. Minor things can always happen, but this was a series of things that went wrong. Not worth repeating.

Very pleased with the food. The staff was also very friendly. So very satisfied in that respect. However, when we had finished eating and cleared away, there was no one to be seen. No one came to ask if we wanted dessert or a drink for 25 minutes. Too bad. It seemed too busy for the staff.

A lovely place almost in our backyard. We come here with some regularity, sometimes for a nice drink or a bite to eat. Price-quality is good, the service customer-friendly and Giorgio who always makes you feel extra welcome. The small amuse of the house also gives just that little bit more. Until next time!

The salad is very simple: lots of lettuce, 3 shrimp, 2 slices of salmon. A little mayonnaise sprinkled on top. Not worth it.

Amazing place! The Caesar salad was fresh and delicious, and the tea selection was impressive. Our waitress, Anouk, was incredibly sweet and gave outstanding service. Highly recommend!

One of the best spareribs I have ever eaten. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and the taste was delicious. Vegetables, fine. So really enjoyed eating outside on the terrace behind glass overlooking part of the shipping of the Maas.

Update 2025: A supposed complaint was handled very well, even though I hadn't actually complained about the condition of the piece of meat. Very generous. Very friendly service. End of update.—-Beautiful restaurant on two levels, connected by a steep spiral staircase. There's a disabled toilet downstairs. Very friendly service!! The Valentine's Day menu was fine, except for the dessert. The starter and main course were perfectly edible, although not very professionally presented on the plates. The apple pie with the cappuccino the day before was also delicious.

Had another delicious meal at RSV Maasbracht and enjoyed the friendly service.

Delicious lunches on a beautiful terrace on the Maas

With a group of 8 colleagues we went to dinner at Riverside Lounge Maasbracht. The food was incredibly delicious, the service was good and fast and the staff incredibly friendly. Of course the view of the water/harbour was also fantastic!

Cozy restaurant, with a view of the largest inland harbor in the Netherlands. The food is good, beautifully presented. The service is very attentive, the attention personal. We will definitely come back.

Food good, lots of it. For a late lunch, the starter and main course were really too much. A lot of staff, mainly paid attention to each other and discussion and hardly to the customer. Shame!

Ate the Christmas menu here on Christmas Day with 4 people. The amuse was a pate with a scoop of sorbet ice cream?? The taste was poor and the presentation could also be better. 3 people had the duck breast fillet. In terms of presentation, it was a full bowl of salad hidden with 3 small slices of duck breast fillet. Grandma's vegetable stock was a complete meal soup as an intermediate dish, very filling but tasty. The main course, the Steak, was completely coated with ground peppercorns, too spicy for the ladies in the group, and no one had asked how we would like the steak, so we just indicated this ourselves. The dessert roasted pear with fried ice cream, the pear cold from a can or jar and a really large ball of crispy dough, just like a large oliebollen with sugar and inside you had to find the ice cream. Really too much for dessert for us. In short, once, but definitely not again next time. In addition, the staff could also be more customer-friendly and attentive by first asking or providing the ladies with food and drinks. Price-quality ratio does not match.

What a cozy restaurant with a great view over the Maas. The background music made it complete. We had lunch there and were pleasantly surprised. Thoroughly enjoyed the dishes. Top! Recommended? Certainly!

Very disappointing, service barely showed up, waited 25 minutes, then left and went to another catering company. No stars.

At the end of October we ate outside on the terrace in the sun. Delicious food. As an appetizer we got a nice little cucumber soup from the house. We had bread with sauces and calamari beforehand. Main course spaghetti scampi, stainless steel burger and sparre ribs. All delicious!

Had a delicious meal here last night. Nice place (it always was, even when it was still called De Kolentip), with a nice interior and very nice chairs. Young, but above all friendly and knowledgeable staff. All very relaxed. Beautiful dishes, beautifully presented on the plate. Always fun, an amuse-bouche beforehand. Then bread with spread. Great address for a nice dinner, business or private. Absolutely recommended!!

Relax on the terrace with a view of 3 countries point in the distance..

The ambiente is very nice, modern and clean. We waited long for our main course. The Service staff was very friendly, but took too long to serve the food (1,5h). The main Food was okay. I would like to give a second try next time I am here. Maybe 5 stars then?

No matter whether it's just a drink or lunch - the restaurant impresses with quality, great views and friendly service. Anyone who is familiar with the problem of "large salads" - a few strips of meat or fish and only green underneath - will be taught better here. If carpaccio salad is on the menu, there is also carpaccio in it!

Beautiful restaurant located on the harbor with a terrace, shielded from the wind by glass panels. Also inside the ground floor there is a beautiful view and cozy furnishings. The first floor is super beautiful. Here you have a view of the entire harbor and the lock complex. A delicious lunch served by very friendly service. Price/quality ratio is excellent. Highly recommended!!!!

We spontaneously reserved a table for the evening. The atmosphere was very inviting and decorated appropriately for the fall/Halloween season. The restaurant is right on the water, which we really liked. The service spoke English and was very friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty! We had the spaghetti scampi and the venison fillet from the Halloween menu and couldn't fault it. Happy to come back!

Having lunch with a large group during a bike ride. Even though we had not made a reservation, we were immediately given some tables on the 1st floor. Service very smooth and friendly, very fast turnaround time and very tasty food!

Nice meal. Beautiful view of the marina. Friendly staff. A small downside for us was that it took a while before we could order. The host was also mainly concerned with the people he knew and therefore less with the other guests.

Nice, cozy place where you can enjoy a drink or food by the water. Outside you sit behind a plastic wall so that you are out of the wind. Inside you can choose to sit on the ground floor or the 1st floor. Beautiful view over the water above.

Very nice staff. I had an emergency. Cell phone battery 1% and was allowed to charge. A good 3 hours with 3 Kopje Koffie drunk. I promised them a good recession. Here it is guys you are great. Stay as you are. I'm now on the last train from Venlo to Mönchengladbach. Dead ziens. I would like to come back and leave more money with you.

Have eaten at Riverside Lounge several times. Reservations are recommended because otherwise you will be unlucky that there is no room left. Inside the restaurant, space is limited due to the size of the building, but when the weather is nice you can take a seat on the terrace, with a beautiful view over the harbor of Maasbracht. The food tastes good and looks delicious. The spareribs fall off the bone, as they should. The pickled meat tastes good and also contains sufficient meat. Definitely recommended if you want something different.

I have now had two excellent meals for a fair price, and in that respect (price-quality ratio) I can definitely recommend Riverside Lounge Maasbracht. Will definitely come back here more often.

A menu that offered more surprise than expected and was also exceptionally well prepared. Compliments to the kitchen. Service was also very friendly. The only downside for me was that I could hear the family at the table next to me better than my table companion.

Nice restaurant with good accessible dishes, both lunch and dinner. In the summer you can sit outside on the terrace, and in the winter or in bad weather it can be nice and dry and warm behind the glass. Has plenty of space both downstairs and upstairs. It does get warm quickly upstairs.

On this warm Friday evening it was fairly quiet on the terrace. It's a good time at the Riverside Lounge in Maasbracht. Delicious food, friendly service and tasty non-alcoholic cocktails. Recommended 👍

Riverside Lounge is rustically located at the port of Maasbracht, close to the locks. It is a nice place to take a leisurely stroll along the water and relax. On the outside terrace you can see the boats and ships, including those that are at anchor, very cozy surroundings. The toilets are well supplied but are on the first floor, but there is a handicapped toilet downstairs which is a good thing 👍

We had a delicious meal! It was a warm evening, the staff did everything they could to create shade. Beautiful view over the water. As a starter we had bread with spreads, delicious fresh rolls, straight from the oven. The steak and salmon are highly recommended, excellent quality on a delicious bed of fresh vegetables. We will definitely come back!

The quality of the food is good, however the taste can be better. We ordered a steak sandwich n carpaccio salad. If i am not wrong carpaccio salad with truffle mayo??? However i didn't taste the truffle. And the steak sandwich was a bit tasteless. The bread of the sandwich was good and the fries were tasty too
