I ate here with the team for 4 days because we came to a friend's wedding. Very delicious food, excellent coffee and friendly service (greetings to Mrs. Magde) A place worth recommending🌈☺️☺️

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast & delicious varieties of coffees and chi tea. The owner was gracious. Also visited with another person there for the Roast’s highly rated coffee. People we have met here are friendly and knowledgeable.

The Roast is a very nice cafe that sells tasty coffee, smoothies, sandwiches and more. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The prices are fairly expensive, but the food portions are pretty large! Overall a very nice cafe!

Food was very average, atmosphere inside is not very comfortable. Coffee was not bad af all, it’s just a but too quiet inside.

Nice coffee and avocado toast with a poached egg

Absolutely love this place! The coffee is delish, you can really see they make it differently than most other coffee places and know how to do so. I always take the Eggs benny with salmon and they're so good! The portion is big, exactly right for a wholesome breakfast and the hollandaise sauce is just right! Favourite place by far for brunch in Rotterdam.

Nice quiet and friendly location to visit and drink various well-made coffees. Enjoying breakfast or lunch is highly recommended. The way in which the staff welcomes the guests and makes them feel welcome is the added value.

Had a great breakfast here and some great coffee talk. The filter coffee special was amazing. Definitely recommend to go here! Edit: second time here my experience was a bit different. I was a bit disappointed because they had these amazing varieties on filter, but because they were busy couldn't make me one. I even asked as I saw it get a bit less busy, but alas. From my point of view this was a big letdown. I came especially for the filter coffee. Maybe they should consider doing a batch brew for when times are busy? It's a common practice for coffee shops to ditch filter brewing when it gets busy, but I really think this is a big no no making menu items unavailable like this. The main attraction is the coffee. Yes, the food is great, but what is the main focus of this shop? The consequence being I will be checking for other specialty coffee places my next visit to Rotterdam. The coffee and food they did serve was great tho!

They are famous for their coffee. We came in from Ams dor a quick weekend stay and I found this spot with great reviews for brunch. The coffee was good but their breads were better. Both the brioche and the sourdough on our plates were phenomenal, more so when paired with the excellent coffee.

Visiting from Texas, I had a lovely fluffy flat white at this joint. The Aussie barista did a nice drawing in my coffee, i think it was a portrait of David Beckham. Service was top and I even bought a nice jar of their Fried Hat coffee. Will go again.

Probably one of the best breakfasts/brunches I've ever had, all with wifi and in an excellent location! I got the plate with musli, fresh fruit, + Eggs and avocado on toast + shot of ginger! All very good!

The coffee is very tasty. There is nothing to complain about the food, you just get exactly what you expect. The atmosphere is very hip, the customers were also mostly young when we were there.

Very tast coffee, just be aware you can't come in and chill on your laptop during busy hours becasue they are too popular! So if you want to work from cafe you can't make this your regular spot sadly.

They serve great good, no egg dishes during the week, ‘weekend’ only, but delighted to find that the ‘weekend’ starts Friday morning! Can’t wait until next visit to Rotterdam

The coffee, the banana bread, and the muffin all were so good. Definitely will come here again. I tried their toast with PB and jam, it was also nice but I think it needed some fruits with it to make it less dry.

Vanochtend voor het eerst bij Roast geweest. Het is een leuk tentje waar je binnen en buiten kan zitten en er werkt vriendelijk personeel. Ik bestelde een dubbele espresso voor mijzelf en voor mijn dochter een earl grey thee. Naast dat de espresso lekker was, raad ik je aan om ook eens de thee te proberen. We kregen de thee in een goed gevulde kan met losse theeblaadjes. Erg lekker! Een aanrader om eens heen te gaan.

Unexpectedly we did have coffee with guest here. As the coffee was really perfect we decided to have our lunch here as well. A perfect decision as this was also perfect prepared. For us a new discovery in the old but certainly very beautiful Rotterdam. For lunch and coffee a highly recommended place to be !!.

Very welcoming cafe with delicious coffee and food! We’ve been there twice - once during the week and once during the weekend - would comfortably go again, and again. During the weekend we enjoyed a stellar menu full of brunch classics, made super well. The staff were even kind enough to give us a side serving of avocado to our little one. This week we went in and had cakes from their counter which were great wit well balanced flavours. The constant all around is the exquisite coffee, any coffee lover will instantly enjoy. The staff are all very knowledgeable about the coffee, the source and how they are all roasted, and how they are best enjoyed (black, white, filter etc.). Strongly recommend for those wanting to enjoy a good vibe and coffee, all a stone’s throw from Rotterdam city centre.

Coffee lovers must visit this place! The filter coffee and cappuccino are exceptional, and the breakfast choices are equally delicious, including vegetarian options. So far, this is the best spot for coffee in Rotterdam that I have visited. Highly recommendable!

Unter der Woche kann man hier nicht mehr frühstücken! Es gibt aber belegte Sandwiches für fast 10€. Der Cappuccino und der Latte waren ok, aber nicht phänomenal. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht, die Bedienung war sehr nett.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Beautiful food and reasonably priced. Came back the following morning for the breakfast because we enjoyed it so much.
