The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. A great atmosphere both inside and outside. The food was delicious, although there weren't many vegan options. Nevertheless, the vegan sushi was incredibly delicious. I would have liked more choice, but what was there was great!

Delicious lunch, good service, and truly top-notch. One point to note: we were seated briefly afterward, and our glasses and bottles were quickly cleared away, which made us feel like we had to leave. Not a pleasant experience.

We were having a wonderful time all afternoon, then they told us the table was reserved and we had to leave. We were offered another table in a truly shabby spot. We didn't want that. We paid €180 and sat next to the neighbors. To our great surprise, the table where we were sitting remained empty until 9:30 PM. We were sent away at 5:15 PM. It was truly bizarre; the neighbors were happy with us. We'll never go to Rooi Siem again. This is the fourth time this has happened. We had a fantastic day at The Roast in Purmerend, it was super fun. Highly recommended. Nobody wants Rooi Siem on the terrace, only for two hours and then they're gone. Too bad, never again.

The wrong main course was served to me. Something I hadn't ordered. My husband's main course was correct. He had finished eating by the time my correct meal arrived. Not very pleasant. And then only excuses, no coffee on the house or anything. Such a bummer this evening.

At the last minute my sister and I decided to take mom (who comes here often) and other guests out for dinner for her birthday. A few of us looked at the menu with doubt, thinking of a "special menu". Nevertheless, we managed to make a choice, the Burgundian platter for 5 people, the oriental tapas for 2 people, a spaghetti a la Parma and a Mexican flamkuche. We all had a delicious meal and enjoyed it immensely. The price and quality ratio was good. A few of us thought we had spent more than we actually did. In terms of service and service, it was a bit behind. One employee was chatting loudly the whole time with (known) guests at another table. As a result, her colleagues had to walk faster. As a result, employees did not quickly see that we wanted to order something to drink. But we look back on a delicious meal and many memorable moments that we have made together.

Food was fine, but we had ordered extra fries. They only arrived when we had finished everything. That happens more often in restaurants due to poor communication or lack of urgency in the kitchen. This was also the case here. Food was fine and tasty. Large portions for tapas. Next time I would not order 2 per person as indicated on the menu, but start with 1 and order more later. Dishes can be shared well, but you do have to ask for extra plates.

Great food, very cozy atmosphere

We had a surprisingly good meal here! The atmosphere is great, very cozy on the summer terrace and super friendly service. My husband and I had the shared Eastern tapas box and the meat was super tender and tastefully prepared. Definitely worth repeating.

Delicious food, good service. We were sitting on the terrace and therefore with the caveat that we were in the "loop" not only for the guests (children who annoyingly walked past the table) but also the staff constantly walked past our table. Next time a table to the side.

The staff is old-fashioned friendly and competent and then you are already 2-0 ahead of course. The four of us had the sharing snacks and they were all good in taste and quality. Nice interior too, as a true Dutchman I want to have something to grumble: the chairs of the small round tables are quite low, with long legs you notice that when you stand up. But that does not detract from those 5 stars, top!

We were there early, 16:30, but very welcome, super friendly staff, a bit later some more inexperienced staff joined, but of course they have to learn too, food was very tasty, a bit too much onion on the super tender pre-cut steak. A great shame on King's Night. I ordered 2 baco and 1 lager. 24 euros and the bacon came from a large pre-made can with barely any Bacardi in it. The beer tap was not in order and the staff was not friendly. When we come to eat there everything is fine, but this was scandalous.

We had to be in Purmerend for business and some legal work. And after business was done, I dashed to the Koemarkt. What are we looking forward to? Sushi and fish. So on to Rooie Sien. They have a very nice menu, perhaps even a bit too much choice. A fish platter (weird that it was written separately) and crunchy tuna plus coffees, soft drinks and water. After more water, a Belgian beer for the lady and a miss verdejo and sauvignon blanc for the gentleman. It looks beautiful and tastes very delicious. Furthermore, we are well looked after by Joost and colleagues. That young man is great; it will come. Generous smile, firm service and connection. Inside it is decorated with great taste. And the toilet test? A 10 and a pencil. Clean, two unisex toilets and urinals behind a wall at the back. Washbasins are beautiful and it takes some time to find a drying option. Right rear, as it turns out. We'll be back. For business or driving, especially for Rooie Sien.

Too small table for 4 people and the tables were placed too close together. There was a "traffic jam" when serving food and drinks.

Very nice first experience here. Good atmosphere. You're in a fantastic position. Staff friendly and felt good if we wanted to order something again. Quality of the meat could be better. The tenderloin was just steak. Gambas, burratha and flamkuchen delicious.

Wonderful setting in winter. Conservatory outside with enough heat sources. Burgundian cheese fondue eaten for two. How wonderful. Nice service, friendly people and a lot is possible. The downside I would really like to mention is that when you enter you are immediately helped with a drink, but after that you really have to constantly ask for attention to get a menu, then order and so on. This could be better… I would love to come back, because the food, setting and friendliness are top notch.

Rooie Sien - Restrobar is a very nice restaurant where we had a wonderful dinner experience. The atmosphere is nice, although a little dark… the staff is kind and friendly. The service is good, the food is very tasty. Just a very big but! They serve BierWinst glasses. This means that if you order a vase, which is 25cl, you will receive a glass that contains 20cl. A beer for the same money, but a big sip less. You are being tricked without even realizing it. In my opinion, this is customer unfriendly and certainly the wrong way to make a profit. We asked the staff about this, but they didn't know what we were talking about and couldn't explain anything. We then asked for the manager, but unfortunately he did not come to our table. Nothing has been explained to us regarding CLs or the like as indicated in the response...
