Super delicious food and nice people!! If I lived around the corner, I would definitely have gone there much more often.

The food is of good quality and it is a beautiful restaurant, but when your staff cuts fish, meat, and vegetarian sushi with the same knife, it is not very practical due to allergens. So this is not a criticism, but it is something to consider for the future :). No one wants to have accidentally causing a fatal allergic reaction on their conscience.

Ordered sushi here for the first time. It was incredibly delicious. This was the best sushi we have ever eaten. Our huge compliments on the delicious food!!!

Last week, I picked up sushi here in Doesburg! Finally, a sushi bar that offers new flavors. The sushi is made fresh and is perfectly seasoned! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the service is attentive and helpful! Highly recommended! For both takeout and dinner.

Visited this restaurant at the new location for the first time. The decor is very atmospheric and cozy. Very unique chairs that look inviting. The owner and daughter are friendly and open. The menu is extensive, ranging from sushi to multi-person meals. The portions are sufficient, though the price is reasonably 'steep'. Definitely worth a visit.

Super delicious food and fast delivery and service 👌👌👌👌👌

I placed a relatively small order for delivery in the immediate area. This took more than an hour. The order was basically complete. However, one portion of spareribs had the ordered sauce, while the other did not. I also found the spareribs to be very small for the price. There was very little meat on them.

I've picked up several meals from Rowena, and also had them delivered. Every time, they're delicious. I enjoy cooking and often exotic dishes, so I'm a bit picky, but Rowena passes the test with flying colors. Generous portions and carefully prepared. And tonight, it was busy because of Valentine's Day, so we were called to say our order would be a little late. Excellent customer service. The bottle of wine we received with the Valentine's Day delivery is the icing on the cake. Next time, we'll eat in; it looks cozy and inviting.

We ordered meatballs, vegetarian spring rolls, and small chicken satay skewers for a get-together at home. It was a pleasure to meet them, they were ready on time for pickup, beautifully packaged, and our guests were unanimously very positive. Delicious snacks, highly recommended for ordering and pickup! We've ordered from Rowena's Rijsttafel in all formats: in-house dining, takeout, and catering. The service is truly top-notch in every instance. They're incredibly customer-friendly and genuinely think along with you, especially with the catering. That makes it a very pleasant and personalized experience. The food is always delicious. The catering was delivered and picked up promptly, everything went smoothly, and the communication was excellent and clear. Orders are almost always delivered on time, and the food is always nice and hot—I've never had a complaint about that. Occasionally, I also order just for myself and pick it up. I really love the sushi, especially the rice: beautifully creamy and with a perfect texture. Truly fantastic. All in all, we love coming here. The owners are incredibly friendly and clearly hard-working. Highly recommended.

I can't speak for the food, but I'm sure it's good. I can, however, speak for the conspicuous orange delivery vans. I regularly see them on my walks. They often drive way too fast and don't seem to obey traffic laws, from speeding to driving against the flow of traffic. It makes me feel unsafe! I understand that the food needs to be hot and delivered on time, but safety is always my top priority!

We had a delicious meal, sushi, and a wok meal. The (white) wine wasn't expensive, but it was a bit thin. It would have been better to raise the price a bit and serve better wine.

On our last day of Holiday we ordered Sushi and Bowls (vegan) for Self-collect. We waited about 40 minutes and Sushi was great. Price was OK, but only the VEGAN Bowl was a disappointment. Bowl was small with less toppings and the Mayonnaise was NOT vegan (!!!)...which was very sadly for my wife, because it was to late back at Home to react.

Ordered the most delicious fried shrimp (ebi) and calamari. Rarely eaten so well and tasty. Kudos to the chef. Wokbox chicken curry again delicious with lots of vegetables. But those shrimp... and those calamari... recommended 2025 beginning of June: again, for 5 years, ordered food. Piping hot, deliciously spicy and well-filled wokbox beef teriyaki, again the great shrimp and calamari and new addition pokebowl tuna. Just as I'm always used to, delicious and delivered on time. So happy with Rowena, a keeper, I'm a fan for life. Beginning of July: pokebowl double ocean, calamari and wokbox shrimp with chili garlic, still as always great again, on time, hot and cold, I remain a fan!!!! In every flavor or combination, top.

Tonight we had a super delicious meal at Rowena's We ordered sushi and chicken/cashew really recommended! You can dine there in an informal atmosphere the place is really neat and cozy the staff is helpful and friendly! And the chairs are very comfortable I will definitely come back here!

This place stinks, literally. When you enter the shop you expect the smell of good food, but what you smell is a kind of plastic smell, I think from the sealing device they use to seal cellophane on the takeaway containers. That smell was also in the food we picked up. Besides that, the food didn't have a nice smell of itself after opening. Nasi kuning is supposed to be a bit sweet-smelling and slightly yellow, but these were a few yellow grains of rice with, I think, leftover fried rice mixed in. Meaningless and without taste Rendang should be made with beef. This clearly contained some leftover goat meat, which we didn't like. "If you cover it up a little with a lot of spices, people won't taste it, and if they complain, we'll just say that's how it should be." Goat meat has a distinct taste, you can taste it immediately, we are not from yesterday. Satay clearly not marinated or not marinated for long, peanut sauce too bland. I had hoped that they would have prepared the food with love and care, but unfortunately that is not the case. And it's expensive, and if it was tasty I would have been fine with that, but now I feel double screwed. I wouldn't eat here or take out. If you really want to eat Indonesian food, it is better to drive to Batavia in Arnhem. That's not a top tent either, but it's much better than this tasteless mess. I also don't understand why people write that they had a good meal here. Then you will probably soon find everything delicious, either you have never left the village, or both. Just got €64 worth of food. What disgusting food! If I could give 0 stars, I would. Goat meat in the Rendang, really? And then the sauce was way too spicy (so it wouldn't stand out, right?). The satay was made with chicken thigh meat that tasted like nothing, overcooked, and the peanut sauce was also tasteless. Nasi Kuning: nothing like nasi kuning. Brown, tasteless rice. I've never been so disappointed in food. People, spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. And then write a comment saying I'd use multiple accounts. Which isn't the case; my husband wrote the other review.

We ordered a catering for 11 people from Rowena. In one word fantastic! Very tasteful and lots of variety. Highly recommended!

Indicate an hour's delivery time on the site, call to say it will be 15 minutes later and then still be empty-handed 45 minutes later. Called that we have a diabetes patient and have 0 empathy. Don't recommend it to everyone

Delicious dinner with 6 people, we had 3x a wok dish with steak, 2x wok dish with shrimp and 1 fried sushi roll. Plus mini spring rolls with chili sauce. Everything tasted delicious. Portions for adults are fine, for children under 12 on the large side, but luckily you can take the leftovers with you to enjoy later. Excellent location, parking at the monastery garden, 3 minutes walk. The new restaurant exudes a cozy, warm Asian atmosphere. At 6:00 PM on a Wednesday evening all tables were occupied, so reservations are wise.

Wow! What a wonderfully fun, very tasty, hospitable, accessible and attractive addition to the heart of Doesburg! Lots of choice, large portions, high quality and all for a very reasonable price. Very varied Asian menu: dishes from Indonesia, Thailand, China, Japan, Korea, Suriname. Beautiful open kitchen with a view of the fresh preparations. Friendly and helpful staff With terrace in pedestrian area in prime location. It was my first time here, but I'm really going to try the whole menu here.

What a wonderful experience to eat with six people at the new location of Rowena's Rijsttafel! In the beautiful and attractive new restaurant, Asian cuisine comes into its own even better. The dishes were delicious again; everything was fresh and prepared with love. The chefs are top notch and the service is always friendly and personal. Rowena really has a fantastic team!

Wow, ordered food here for the first time, what a surprise, wok box and sushi. This was so delicious, I will definitely come back because out of curiosity I want to taste more. Another time because you get a lot and value for your money

Ordered roti tonight and absolutely delicious! Homemade sambal also perfect. Roti itself was very hard around the edges.. maybe due to packaging and transportation? We order regularly and are always satisfied.

It's that I can't give 0 stars. What bad and old food. Delivered half an hour late for which you have to pay extra. Spending more than €70 on a little food. It comes in warming containers with plastic wrap. The food is not fresh, mealy, old and dry. When you call for a solution, the employee starts to deny and hangs up the phone? Treated rudely. Never, never again. What a bad thing.

Very friendly help. Had to wait a while because they were still preparing the satay that accompanied my ordered rice table. No problem, because what's wrong with fresh products. Nothing, right? My meal was well packaged and nice and hot. I really enjoyed it!!

For 40 euros delivered to your home you get a cold microwave meal in plastic for barely 2 people and they forget to add the cans of drinks

Food was packed in a special way, inedible and the next day I had a stomach ache in the toilet. Yep, food poisoning.... Never again at this place. Awful. The fact that you still dare to serve and drive around so openly worries me 🤨

Waited over an hour for the Sushi for 3 people. I was allowed to pay €51 for a bit of sushi that is not enough for 1 person. After dinner, straight to the cafeteria. Never again for us. Price-quality ratio very poor.

Heerlijk eten, authenthiek en zoals ik het bij mijn aziatische familie herken. Vandaag weer een heerlijk rijsttafel 1p laten verpakken, om het vanavond tijdens het werk op te eten.

Gister wok met rijst en garnalen gegeten. Goed restaurant. Zowel kwaliteit en prijzen kloppen.. Vers, kruidig en goede service.

Altijd weer een feestje als we bestellen bij Rowena en Dimitri. Het eten is altijd met liefde bereid en dat proef je aan de fantastische smaken! Aanrader.

Gisteren hier gegeten. We moesten best lang wachten maar we hebben vakantie dus dat hadden we er wel voor over. Alles wordt vers bereid dus het was het wachten waard. Wat een heerlijk eten. We hadden verschillende gerechten gedaan en hebben echt genoten! Ook hele lieve hartelijke mensen. Jammer dat we in Friesland wonen anders kwamen we vaker. Bedankt Rowena en team!!!

Heerlijke maaltijd gehaald hier. Smaakte vers, kruidig en heel afwisselend. Was alleen verbaasd dat de sate saus uit een grote kant en klaar emmer kwam. Dat is zonde, want de rest is met veel zorg zelf bereid. Ondanks dat kom ik zeker terug.

21 jaardiner Zoë: Dank zijn Rowena & Dimitri konden wij een geweldig diner feest in onze achtertuin geven voor onze dochter Zoë en haar vriendinnen. Rowena en haar team serveerden 6 heerlijke gangen, een rondje Azië uit gerechten 6 verschillende landen. De tafel was erg mooi & luxe opgedekt, helemaal naar de smaak van Zoë. Chef Rowena wokte o.a. een aantal gerechten, o.a. heerlijke lamssaté met de vlam in pan wat uiteraard de sfeer verhoogde. Ook een compliment aan Rowena haar personeel, ze zijn heel vriendelijk en aktief ! In kort: Aanrader !

Afgelopen week hebben wij 15 Rowena special thuis laten bezorgen en nog wat side dishes en loempias. Het eten was echt heerlijk en wat ik vooral ook erg belangrijk vind is dat het eten goed warm is. En dat was het zeer zeker. Je kunt bij Rowena's rijsttafel afhalen en laten bezorgen. In het restaurant word je zeer vriendelijk geholpen en alle wensen kan je aangeven. Ook zijn ze heel professioneel met allergieën. Ik kan alleen maar zeggen.....voortreffelijk en ik kom hier zeker vaker.

Ruime porties en heerlijke combinatie van verschillende smaken

Rowena heeft een heerlijk rijsttafel bereid. Bij open maken van bak kwam een heerlijke geur tegemoet, het water liep in mond. De porties zijn ook voldoende om vol te zijn maar niet met over gegeten gevoel.

Heel erg smaakvol en lekkere vegetarische opties. De wok was helaas wel lauw.

Prima oosters eten zoals het ook in Azië bereid wordt.

Wat een heerlijke variatie aan originele Aziatische gerechten. Indisch,Moluks, Filipijns. Vooral Rowena special en de saté kambing !!!!

We hebben genoten van het eten en de zeer vriendelijke en warme ontvangst en bediening. In het bijzonder voor mijn schoonmoeder die 89 is geworden en er gezongen werd en een verrassing op het ijs, zij vierde het verder niet door Covid 19, maar toch een heel klein feestje erg bedankt😀

Vandaag heerlijk gegeten. De saté was goed gemarineerd, overal proef je de echte kruiden terug, niks kant en klaar of uit potjes. De prijzen zijn ook heel schappelijk. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Lekker Aziatisch (Indisch) eten. Erg druk de eerste dagen, dus even wachten. Maar het wachten was de moeite waard. Mij werd aangeboden dat ik niet hoefde te wachten, maar dat ze het eten ook wel willen brengen. Toen ik besliste toch te wachten, kreeg ik een drankje. Ook redelijke prijzen. Aanwinst voor Doesburg.
