We arrived late (7:30 PM) on a Saturday evening from Zeeland. On the way, we had tried to call to make a reservation. That failed because the phone wasn't working, or so we thought. Upon arrival, it turned out they had been busy the whole time. You see, you can also get takeout there. The place was full. We were received quite nicely nonetheless and were allowed to sit at the bar. From that spot, we could look into the kitchen. Great atmosphere among the staff! That was a nice start. After half an hour, we were seated at a table and served truly delicious spicy vegan pizzas. Very friendly service. What a fantastic place! The bill was very reasonable. I just realized I didn't pay myself. I hope my brother left a generous tip.

The first thing that caught my eye was the beautiful, bright interior. It had a lovely, soft, and cozy atmosphere, partly due to the abundance of wood. Nicely done! As an appetizer, you get a salad with a delicious dressing (with their own secret recipe) that they also sell (€7.50 for 200ml). The pizza had a lovely, unique style with a small raised crust. Prepared perfectly. I had a quattro formaggi and it was delicious. We also swapped pizza slices among ourselves, and all the pizzas were delicious! I would eat there again in a heartbeat. Reservations are recommended. (One minor point: the manager clearly put on a customer face with customers, which came across as fake. I think he underestimates how insincere he comes across that way and how little connection is created between him and the customers as a result. The rest of the staff was much more relaxed.)

Had a lovely time sitting outside. That gave it a bit of an Italian vibe. Top-notch restaurant! Friendly service. And the vegetarian lasagna, in particular, was absolutely fantastic! I have never eaten such delicious lasagna. If I ever come to Harlingen again, I will definitely stop by here! I had two courses with rosé.

On our way from Groningen, we decided to grab a pizza. Based on the good reviews, we ended up at San Marino. The reviews are absolutely true; we had such a delicious meal. Eating a pizza turned into almost a three-course treat. Delicious Pasta Carbonara, a delicious, generously topped pizza, and delicious desserts. In short, we discovered a new gem in the far North.

The most unique pizzeria in the whole world. I had expected a very large pizza, but the pizzas here are small and look a bit like a quiche. Whether they use quiche dough, corn dough, or just regular pizza dough, it looks special. And it tastes good too! I had the Pizza i Fratelli and the matcha cheesecake for dessert, which was also very tasty. The interior is hip, but there aren't very many seats, so you really do need to make a reservation here (as other reviews also mentioned). If you've eaten here and the weather is nice, I can also recommend taking a walk around Harlingen. It is a beautiful village. If I move here, you can be sure I will have another pizza here.

The pizza was really great! What I also really appreciated was the Ichnusa non filtrata. I also saw that there are a few other imported beers from Italy on the menu. Finally, an Italian restaurant with beers that actually come from Italy. Grazie mille!

I have been here twice... I find the policy very unwelcoming. The first time, after eating pizza, we were sent away to bar stools... Time to leave! Tried again a few days ago... We couldn't have a drink outside. All the tables were empty... There were, however, a few wooden stools in a secluded corner where we could sit... You don't put 60+ people there... In other words... Bad, and I don't think this is acceptable for a restaurant; I've never experienced anything like this before....!!!

What a wonderful experience at this place in Harlingen. Every single dish was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. The starter, in particular, with the fresh bread and colorful garnish, was an instant hit. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and everything was taken care of down to the last detail. The pizza and dessert also looked amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed this afternoon and will definitely be back.

We reserved well over a week in advance and couldn't get a table outside. The pizza carbonara was quite tasteless, so we asked for a spicy oil, for which there is an extra charge. This Harlingen pizzeria charges Amsterdam prices.

A really lovely restaurant with delicious Italian dishes, super friendly service, and a beautiful ambiance. There isn't a thousand things on the menu, but rather a 'less is more' philosophy; the taste of the specific options means you don't need any more. The menu is also updated regularly, so even after visiting multiple times, you'll find something new every time. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely lunch at San Marino today. The pizza was generously topped and delicious. We also received a small salad as a starter. Tap water was offered free of charge. The service and atmosphere were excellent.

The food is mediocre, the service is terrible... we waited for pizza for over an hour, they forgot to bring salad... unfortunately the taste of the food did not compensate for the waiting time

We had a cozy and personal evening. The staff was cheerful, noticed us, and the service was pleasant. I really appreciate being able to specify in advance whether the visit would be quick (1.5 hours), 2 hours, or 3 hours. We had an appointment afterward, and we were ready on time. The food was delicious. We had a cold cuts platter and sea bass as a starter. The main course was carbonara and pizza di Parma.

We were referred to Pizzeria San Marino in Harlingen for good pizza. The pizzeria is housed in a charming building, and the service is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is divided into two sections. In one section, you're practically sitting "in" the open kitchen. The menu lists a variety of pizzas, including some with toppings that aren't exactly Italian, such as shawarma, chicken thigh, roast beef, and truffle mayonnaise. The menu indicates that fresh tomatoes are used in the pizzas. These are served on the pizzas as tomato slices. They offered to replace the tomatoes with tomato sauce, but we were curious about this un-Italian approach and curious about the difference in taste. We ordered four different pizzas, including a San Marino pizza that, according to the menu, "features all the creativity of the chef." After an hour, the pizzas were served. The aromas from the kitchen promised much, and our pizza cravings had reached a fever pitch. The three unimaginative pizzas tasted decent, mainly because we missed the tomato sauce. The fantasy pizza turned out to be topped with almost all the ingredients used in regular pizzas. Gorgonzola was also added upon request. A dollop of Bolognese cheese was placed in the middle. This gave each slice a different texture, making every bite taste different. If the menu had stated that each slice of the fantasy pizza had a different flavor, we wouldn't have ordered this pizza. Such a shame. After enjoying our pizzas, we left, somewhat disappointed. The overwhelming smell of cooking from the open kitchen was carried onto our clothes.

We had a wonderful meal! A lovely atmosphere in a small restaurant. The menu was excellent, with something for everyone. We chose the guinea fowl with gnocchi, while the rest of the group opted for pizza. We didn't regret it, as it was delicious. Definitely worth repeating!

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience. Our table was forgotten, which can happen, of course, but after reporting it, everyone gets their food first, and after half an hour, everyone around us gets it. When we then decide to leave and take it with us because it's taking too long with two small children, no apology is given. We arrived home with a cold pizza, and the service was terrible!

When we lived in Harlingen we used to come here often, and whenever we're back in Harlingen, we always try to eat here at least once. But in recent years, there have been more staff than guests, and the snobby attitude has become a far cry from the Harlingen atmosphere that once reigned...sadly, it's no longer for us.

A chance discovery via Google. On the day we arrived, we briefly considered opting for a small fish restaurant. Fortunately, we didn't. One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever eaten at. We were absolutely thrilled and can only recommend the food and the very friendly service. It's a shame there are few comparable options in our quiet area.

I've been coming to San Marino for many years. It's been a while since I last visited. Once again, I was impressed by the ease of booking and the friendly welcome. I do like pizza, but this time I preferred smoked fish as a starter and then linguine carbonara. Beautiful, carefully prepared, and very tasty dishes.

Wij werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen en kregen mooi plekje op het terras in de historische wijk van Harlingen. Erg sfeervol! Bediening was super, goede uitleg over de ingrediënten en de kaart. Héérlijke alcoholvrije rosé prosecco gedronken en overheerlijke pizza gegeten. Niet zo mega groot, maar zó smaakvol en een heerlijke korst. Verse ingrediënten en dat proef je! En dan het dessert: ik vind tiramisu heerlijk, maar deze was goddelijk lekker....écht nog nooit zo'n lekkere tiramisu gehad en viel toch niet te zwaar op de maag.... TOP!!! En daarbij de doppio cappuccino....zalig! Echt niets was minder, ik kom zeker gauw terug 🤗

Misschien wel de lekkerste pizza ooit gegeten hier. Niet heel groot formaat, maar knapperige bodem en lekkere ingrediënten. Zeer prettige bediening, hartelijk. Grote aanrader!

We pre-ordered the Italian Delicacies platter. Wow...Thanks for these amazing delicacies. We started with a twist on bruschetta...a salad with a delicious house dressing. Then came a large wooden board with prawn pizza, lemon and garlic spaghetti, a three-cheese casserole, lasagna a la mama, fresh beef tartare...various dips, olives, bread...Magnificent!!

We ate Linguine Ragu di Agnello 21 Linguine – lamsragu – tomaat – Parmezaanse kaas and it was delicious! Beautifully served, freshly prepared. The meat is tender and melts in your mouth. Additionally, a tasty salad for starter. Very nice service and a climatic place. What more could you want? We will definitely go back there 😋☺️

Lovely restaurant nestled in the historic district of Harlingen. Beautiful indoor and outside seating but plan on having a reservation. We did pizzas to go and they offer a delicious gluten free pizza. All ingredients were high quality and each pizza was made to order.

Onderweg zochten we een restaurant in Harlingen en op basis van de beoordelingen op TA zijn we hier gaan eten wat zeer goed is bevallen. Gezellig restaurant, enorm leuke gastvrouw die erg attent was. Erg lekkere voorgerechten, erg goede pasta en heerlijke pizza’s. De prijs was erg schappelijk gezien de kwaliteit van het eten, het temp was ook precies goed. Jammer dat we nogal uit de buurt wonen want hier willen we wel vaker eten.

Super friendly service! I had salad with burrata. Mixed salad with tomatoes, cucumber, radiccio, seeds and herbs as well as burrata. The bowl was big, but still manageable. Beforehand, everyone had a house salad with a divine homemade dressing. This can also be purchased. The prices are a bit high, but the quality of the fresh and handmade food justifies it. Beautifully renovated old house, nice ambience. Absolute recommendation!

Totally chic and inviting atmosphere, the toilets are very clean and everything looks extremely well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Alles klopt altijd , vanaf het moment van binnen stappen tot met een meer dan voldaan gevoel het knusse pand verlaten. De medewerkers zijn alert, kundig en rustig en vriendelijk in de benadering. De gerechten en de drankjes zijn smaakvol en op elkaar afgestemd ,worden leuk gepresenteerd en alllless is op gegaan van voorgerecht tot de laatste pizza puntje. Oh ja…. De salade (met speciale dressing ) is zalig. Dank voor een fijn koningsmaal op deze Koningsdag.

This Italian family style restaurant in Harlingen caught me of guard. Pizza dough being tossed in the open kitchen and incorporating own creations like a glasswort bruschetta. Friendly staff and a great overal vibe and not to forget amazing clean fresh pizza’s (and starters)(and desserts). I would recommend making a reservation because around 6 it is just full.

We were greeted with very friendly staff who gave us a table that was a bit separate so our dog could lie down without getting in the way. The service was very pleasant overall, and the food great! Very good food here! Four of us had dinner here, everyone was very satisfied. As often said, the pizzas looked small at first glance, but they tasted great and were very freshly topped. In the end no one could eat it so any bigger size would have been completely unnecessary. This place is definitely recommended for anyone who likes quality over quantity.

Very funny restaurant with 2 floors. The lavatories are upstairs, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. The food is very good, it seems that they make everything at the moment, because they take so long. The restaurant was almost empty and they took a lifetime to serve us.
