Savonije Versbakkerij Winkelcentrum Deppenbroek in Wijk 04 Enschede-Noord

One of the best bakeries in the city centre. The staff are super friendly and always pleasant to talk to. I regularly buy Ecke from here and really like it. It would be great if they could keep it more consistently in stock, as it is sometimes unavailable.

Actually quite tasty, the ham + cheese is behind a small raised platform at the "preparation counter", no cutting board while cutting or the knife 🔪 cleaned before she cut open my croissant. The customer before me paid in cash and the employee didn't wash her hands, put on gloves, or anything like that. Money is sooooooo dirty! Well, the service was okay... too bad, because the lack of hygiene isn't really typical German...

Not crazy about this bakery. Come there every now and then. You quietly sell yesterday's sandwiches that are no longer tasty the next day. This week I had Waldcorn bread for a change and it was moist and soggy. What also bothers me is that the owner has a habit of parking his/her bus on the street and blocking traffic while there is a parking space.

Unfortunately, there's no store, only phone orders! So, no opening hours either!

The food here is always sooooo good 10/10
