!!!WHAT TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! We arrived at 5:15 PM and by 5:30 PM we had all ordered our food. After 45 minutes, upon inquiring with the staff, it turned out that our order had gone missing, after which they said our food would be prepared immediately. After waiting another 20 minutes, it turned out that nothing had been started yet, and we decided to leave. There was absolutely no feedback and it didn't seem to bother them at all. Terrible experience and very uninterested in their customers. !!!!!DO NOT EAT THERE!!!!!

I wanted to eat gluten-free and told the waiter, who even checked with the kitchen about a few things. After I was initially brought a breaded schnitzel and had to wait again, I was then given a piece of pork without breading. It was completely tough, so I couldn't eat it. They then added an extra €2 to the bill. The staff tried their best, but unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend this place.

We had a delicious meal at Schnitzelparadies yesterday. After shopping at the outlet, we wanted somewhere to eat and this looked nice, so we went inside. We were served in a friendly manner by the staff and the food was tasty, especially the generous portions. We had the 3-course set menu and were completely full afterwards! It is a nice, atmospheric restaurant.

The food was okay. The sauce on the schnitzel and the mayonnaise had already formed a skin when it arrived at the table. So, it was anything but freshly prepared. We had the three-course meal and sat there for over two hours. This was due to the kitchen taking an extremely long time, even though the restaurant was empty. So, if you have a lot of time on your hands and don't have high standards for food quality, this is the place for you.

The food was delicious, and the staff friendly. I chose the German World Schnitzel, a chicken schnitzel with fried onions, mushrooms, and bacon bits. You can choose your own salad from the salad bar. I thought it was good value for money.

This place has earned a special spot in our hearts forever, because I proposed to my girlfriend here (and she said yes!). Unfortunately, our visit to this schnitzel restaurant in Roermond was quite disappointing. For the starter, we had a shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were frozen. We pointed this out and received a new shrimp cocktail, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the same dish, with reheated shrimp. We found that very disappointing. Things didn't go well with the main course either. While we had only just taken our last bite of the starter, the schnitzels were already ready. This gave us the strong impression that the dishes had been waiting for quite some time. The schnitzels themselves were fine, but certainly not of the quality one would expect from a restaurant. My husband had chosen the three-course menu and had an apple strudel for dessert. This was brought almost immediately when the plates for the main course were cleared. The apple strudel was cold, and the ice cream had already largely melted by the time it was served. We pointed this out to the staff. We were told that there is new kitchen staff and that, as a result, they could not check everything. That could of course be a reason, but in my opinion, this should actually be an extra reason to thoroughly check the dishes and their quality before they leave the kitchen. All in all, this was a disappointing experience for us. Unfortunately, we will not be returning here.

Very poor service. Sat and waited at a dirty table for 20 minutes. The table was not cleaned, and the staff simply walked past us several times without taking our order or even asking if we wanted anything to drink. After 20 minutes, we eventually just left. During that time, we didn't even see a menu and couldn't even order a drink. And the most striking thing: it wasn't busy at all. Very disappointing. That is not how you treat guests.

I ate there today, I ate really well and on Mondays and Wednesdays there is a menu for €19.50 which also includes the salad bar, unlimited fries or hash browns, no extra charge for sauces or mayonnaise, all served with a smile, plus the interior really makes you feel like you're in Austria.

The food was pretty bad. The shrimp cocktail was minimal, lots of lettuce and a few shrimp with cocktail sauce from a bottle. The salad from the salad bar was very poor. And we had to wait a very long time before we got dessert. There were a lot of staff standing close together. Eventually, after asking, a lady came and offered a drink. In short, a disappointing experience.

Had a mediocre meal. The staff is impossible to understand. Ordering was very difficult. The drinks were just plain disgusting, unprecedented. I asked for Sprite, but got a fake version, lukewarm and undrinkable. The schnitzel was decent, they forgot the fries, but I didn't eat any of those anyway. I do not recommend the restaurant. And the locals know it, because there was hardly anyone there. I almost forgot the salad bar full of flies... oh well, 2 stars for the effort.

Upon arriving on the terrace, we were given the menu and immediately ordered our drinks. These were quickly placed on the table without looking at us or asking what we had chosen to eat. After waiting for a while, I went inside and spoke to a waiter who said he would make sure someone came (which also took a while). They had been very busy around lunchtime (Outlet Roermond), so naturally, there is some understanding. We had ordered a 3-course menu. But before we had the third course, we had to ask a waiter again where our dessert was. He could barely understand us: "We are waiting for our dessert!" What is dessert? "Our dessert!!" I don't know??? "Ice cream! Waiter!" Pfff, sorry, but that is surely not the intention. We always leave a tip, but not this time. The food is good value for money, so €20 for 3 courses is decent and fine.

We went for a relaxing stroll in Roermond today. When hunger struck, we spontaneously decided on Schnitzel Paradies. It looked inviting, the menu displayed outside appealed to us, and we found a shady spot. Everything was decorated in a Bavarian style. We received excellent service; the lady in the dirndl who served us (the owner?) was incredibly easygoing, kept everything running smoothly, and was super friendly. The food we ordered was delicious, the portions were generous, and it was beautifully presented. During our meal, the lady served other guests, and it was fascinating to see her switching effortlessly between German, Dutch, and English, knowing exactly which language to use for each table. We also complimented her on the spot. It's amazing how people who are truly passionate about their work still exist. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much! ❤️

Last night, before going to the movies, we ate here for the first time. We will definitely be back! Super nice service; they know what hospitality is here! And you certainly won't go home hungry.

Tasty schnitzel and service with a smile

We ordered two schnitzels, and it took about 1.5 hours for our food to arrive. In the meantime, the chef came by to say that they didn't have a 300g schnitzel. No problem, we had asked for the other one without mushrooms due to an allergy. Eventually, the food arrived, but with mushrooms. We then pointed out that we had asked for no mushrooms. They came back with the schnitzel, but it was completely plain, so without bacon and onion as we had ordered. We then pointed out that we had ordered the German schnitzel, but without mushrooms. It was sent back, and by then the fries and potatoes were cold. My partner had an Indonesian schnitzel, and the satay sauce was completely cold at first. All in all, it took about two hours before we got our food hot and the correct order. We spoke to Rosie from service there, and she apologized and came up with a customer-oriented solution. Rosie, thank you so much and lots of credit to you. Many others should take a leaf out of your book. It is a shame that this was our first experience with Schnitzelparadeis.

A year later, we dined again at a quieter time, during which the overall service and atmosphere shifted from 4 to 5 stars. + quantity, + quality, + salad buffet + birthday special or lunch menu or Mon-Wed menu + flexibility regarding exquisite dessert - two mice walked in from outside just before closing time - the bill was incorrect to our disadvantage

A very charming atmosphere and service that is absolutely lovely and efficient. The food was delicious, the all-you-can-eat fries are a real hit, and the fact that you can go back to the well-stocked salad bar as often as you like is fantastic. My husband and I felt completely at ease here, received our food very quickly, and then more fries (really delicious!), although we were there at noon on Pentecost Sunday. We will definitely come back when we are in Roermond again. The price-performance ratio is perfectly fine. Thank you for everything. 🤗❤️

You come here to eat a tasty, large, and fresh schnitzel. We often go here to eat that delicious schnitzel after visiting the Outlet. Nice German atmosphere.

It is mostly a lot of money for a very greasy, tasteless chip shop. You can't really mess up a currywurst. Everything is swimming in greasy sauces, and the fries are very dry. Asked for specialty coffee from the menu “Irish, Spanish, French coffee”, but none were available! During asparagus season.....soup, which was still being made.....they offered a good substitute, but in a very small bowl and not warm 🥵🤨😞 The staff does their best, but you can't sell poor quality nicely.

I was here on a Sunday and this schnitzel place really impressed me. The food was really good. They offered bread as a starter for only €5!!! The bread plate included a small baguette, a bread roll, and a pretzel stick, all served hot. You could also help yourself to as much salad as you wanted for free. The salad, I had potato salad, wasn't that great, but to be honest, I'm not a big salad fan. The schnitzel meat was warm and tasty 😋, but a bit thick. The breading was crispy, but unfortunately not puffed up. There was also a large bowl of fries for two people. The fries were fresh and homemade. The drinks were served in beer glasses (picture attached), which I really liked. The service was relatively good and friendly. The food and drinks arrived quite quickly. They even gave us peppermint candies. The atmosphere was really nice, just like in a Bavarian brewery. Everything was made of wood and beautifully decorated with Paula products, such as several Paula lanterns. The tables were beautifully designed and high-quality. They were arranged on two levels, with a difference of approximately 50 cm between each level and the lower one. Overall, I really enjoyed it and will definitely come back the next time I'm in Roermond.

We waited over an hour for our food only to find that the quality was really poor and the portions were tiny. Furthermore, some of the dishes were mislabeled, like the Turkish schnitzel… (Definitely don't order it!) What a shame, because we had to wait another hour for dessert. The server was friendly, but everything else made it one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had…

We come here often. And as always, the food is delicious, hot, and fresh. The service is also incredibly friendly, especially to our children. They both had a great time playing in the play corner, and they even got extra coloring pages and crayons. They were also allowed to choose a toy (which they could keep) from the treasure chest. It even had cuddly toys in it, not just the kind that fall apart after two hours. We'll definitely be back!

The staff was very friendly, however the music was very annoying, and worst of all, none of the cutlery was properly clean. The food itself was good, and the best part was that there was unlimited fries and salad with the schnitzel. Even so, I wouldn't go there again.

The Camembert salad was a complete disappointment. Very small, wilted lettuce, hardly any dressing, no cranberries (as advertised on the menu). The Kaiserschmarrn tasted strange. The schnitzel was okay.

First of all, they seamlessly replaced the pork schnitzels, which we forgot to mention when ordering, with chicken schnitzels, and they did so in a very friendly manner. There's a special offer on Mondays. In addition to the main course, you get unlimited salad bar, soup, french fries or shrimp salad, and dessert options. Of the things we ate, I especially liked the dessert and the potato salad from the salad bar.

What a lovely restaurant this is! You feel completely transported to Austria. Fantastic! The food is good with a wide selection, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They'll be seeing me here more often. It's a nice addition to a day of shopping at the Roermond outlet center.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing visit. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, we waited about 1.5 hours for our food. The service seemed overwhelmed, even though there were hardly any customers. Drinks could be ordered online, but only arrived after asking several times. The schnitzel itself was completely standard – no better quality than what you'd get at a typical fast-food joint. The "all-you-can-eat fries" offer was particularly irritating: what we received was an extremely small portion. When we ordered more, the long wait practically started all over again. The advertised "salad bar" (also all-you-can-eat) offered hardly any selection, and several containers were empty. Yes, it's Carnival – but if you're going to offer a service concept like this, you should make sure it actually works. Otherwise, it would be better to keep the place closed. A real shame; we had expected much more.

Cool atmosphere. Great staff. But the oil in the deep fryer needs to be changed more often, the deep-fried fish is very dark and smells like old oil.

We really had higher expectations. The fries weren't cooked properly, and one schnitzel was cold. What also struck me was how the communication between management and staff was so direct, blaming someone even though, in our opinion, they were doing a good job.

A surprising discovery at a Roermond outlet where the food was mediocre, this was a real surprise. A very good schnitzel and salad bar, excellent value for money, and very good service and super friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

We regularly visit the Roermond outlet; it's not close to us, and we always end our day at Schnitzelparadies. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff wears matching attire. The salad bar is a fun and delicious addition. The schnitzels are good value for money and have never disappointed. It's a shame that we used to be allowed to bring our dog inside (in a locked cart), but since the last time we visited, we haven't been allowed to bring our dog. This makes it more difficult to eat there outside of the summer.

We stumbled upon Schnitzelparadies by chance while at the outlet mall! It looked appealing at first glance, so we went in… The staff wear traditional Bavarian clothing, and the decor is typical Bavarian. The schnitzels were okay, but nothing special, especially the bland sauces and the overly white fries! The food and drinks are rather pricey, and the staff is a bit too laid-back… The salad bar was a definite plus!

What a lovely restaurant, it exceeded our expectations! (Feb 2023) We arrived early, there were plenty of tables available, and we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in Austrian style, making you feel like you're on holiday in Austria. We opted for the three-course menu. The chef's soup was lentil soup. It was deliciously spicy, highly recommended. The tomato soup was also deliciously full of flavor. We were served with fresh warm rolls with herb butter and tapenade. Instead of the world schnitzel, we opted for the Turkish kapsalon. The second world schnitzel wasn't on the menu, but when we asked if the English and American schnitzels could be combined, it was no problem at all. We were able to simply order a schnitzel with our own wishes, mushrooms, and a fried egg on top. Excellent service! Dessert, Dame Blanche, was simple but equally delicious with warm chocolate sauce in a unique glass; we couldn't help laughing. The staff paid close attention to us and other guests, and the restaurant gradually filled up. Even a dog was allowed in and was given water and a cookie. In short, we had a delicious meal, more than enough food, and a wonderfully enjoyable evening. Highly recommended for everyone.

We were turned away. There were two of us. A table for four had just become available. There was also another table where we could have sat. There was also a whole section of empty tables. A family of four was also turned away... if you don't need customers and don't need to make a profit... what a shame and disappointing.

Have visited 3 times before with no problems, good food and atmosphere. The service this time was very late. Ordered and after an hour the main courses had not arrived. Then was informed in 5 minutes that turned into 15. Left after paying the starters. Will not be visiting again.

The only positive thing is really the atmosphere. Even though there were free tables, they turned us away. Apparently, they don't want to make any money. No one can tell us that the tables were reserved. When we heard the phrase, "That's a table for four, we're not seating two people there," that was enough for us. There were four people in front of us who could have sat there, but they were also turned away. Oh well, if they don't want you, you don't get what you deserve.

We ate here on Boxing Day. The food was good. The service was perfect. We asked for an extra plate because of my stomach exam, and nothing was too much trouble. The lady was very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

On December 22nd, while shopping, we walked into this restaurant with two people for a quick bite to eat at 7:15 PM. There were plenty of tables available. Two young male employees approached us to ask if we had a reservation. No, we hadn't, why were there enough tables available? We couldn't eat without a reservation; people weren't allowed to be seated. How unfriendly and unwelcoming. It said it was open until 9:00 PM. They didn't expect it to be busy. Most people had finished eating. They just wanted to get home on time. It was awful; we could tell they wanted to get rid of us.

It's like being on vacation! You definitely have to try the most delicious schnitzels, and the Kaiserschmarrn too! :) We love coming here!

Friendly & helpful staff, they have menus in english and a large selection of schnitzels to chose from. Good place to stop at for a bite before or after visiting the outlet centre.

Very greasy (and heavy on the stomach) and prepared without any care, which is a real shame considering the restaurant is so nice and the service is so friendly. A group of 18 dined with you. We all opted for a three-course menu. Plenty of choice and the food was incredibly delicious. Make sure you arrive on an empty stomach, as the portions are generous, and there's also a wide selection of salads at the salad bar. Regarding any changes to the menu, nothing is too much trouble, and everything can be arranged. Speaking of the service, what a wonderful staff! We were helped all evening by Rosa; she's such a wonderful woman, and she works incredibly hard to please everyone. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant, and we'll definitely all be back!

The people working there are so friendly, but once you get Rosa at your table, it's a real party. She makes the evening complete. You really get your money's worth here!

We dined yesterday with six adults and four children. The lady who served us was super sweet and attentive. It's nice that everyone was wearing leather goods or a dirndl. We've been here before and it's always delicious. I forgot to mention that I didn't want to sit near the exit. My parents were bothered by the draft.
