This pop up is a miscalculation, the food was ok, however for the amount you pay and the name of taste and entertainment, you expect more. The main course was just warm, this is simply not allowed. This location remains a luxury company canteen. For us not recommended and it detracts from the nice location in the Dorpsstraat.

Delicious eaten in the pop-up of taste and entertainment. The different preparations of asparagus were delicious. The entourage was great, very nice view in an atmospherically decorated restaurant.

Regularly visit smaak en feest. First time now in the pop up in the bouwhuis. Nice location. Beautiful view over Zoetermeer. Food was delicious again. What you can do with asparagus. Service very good and the atmosphere was cozy. Recommended.

Getting used to the new surroundings, the popup restaurant in the Bouwhuis but literally a top location. The asparagus were delicious. Surprising combinations again. Parking the car very easy under the building. Nice hostesses who brought us to the top floor. I look forward to our next dinner.

A great evening-filling 4-course surprise menu, with the option to expand to 5 or 6 courses, we chose the 6 courses with matching (designated) wine arrangement. Watching the chef prepare the plates is a feast for the eyes 😊 and the food a feast for the taste buds. The service is very nice and he knew a lot to tell about the dishes and the matching wines. Definitely recommended to eat here, but make a reservation quickly, that is possible until October 1st, after that they unfortunately have to leave the building.

Very nice atmosphere, great service, great food. Being able to watch the chefs in the kitchen preparing the food adds to the experience. The food looks good and tastes even better. The staff will do anything to make your stay wonderful and adjust the food to your liking when you are vegan or vegetarian or don't like certain ingredients.

Last night, my colleagues from Patat en More and I had the pleasure of dining at Smaak en Vermaak. This was a completely new experience for me, but what I was able to taste and experience exceeded all expectations. Upon entering, we were immediately warmly welcomed and started the evening with a delicious cheese platter from ’t Kaashuys and a portion of perfectly prepared bitterballen – a tasty start that immediately set the tone for the rest of the evening. The starter was then served: a refined combination of fish and olives, perfectly seasoned. After this, we were served fresh bread with butter, olive oil and sea salt, a simple but elegant dish that beautifully showcased the pure flavours. Then it was the turn of a dish with hamachi, daikon, honey and soy. I chose the carpaccio myself, and I can say with full conviction that I have never eaten such a refined and tasty carpaccio as here. The quality and preparation were simply unparalleled. The main course was a true culinary experience: short rib, mushroom, leek, wakame and béarnaise sauce. The short rib was cooked to perfection and literally fell off the bone, while the combination of vegetables and sauce provided a harmonious explosion of flavours. To finish, we were served a surprising dessert consisting of corn, brownie and popcorn. A playful and at the same time refined combination that offered a perfect balance between sweet, salty and crunchy – a real ending in style. After this evening, I can say with certainty: Smaak en Vermaak deserves three Michelin stars. The refined dishes, the high quality of the ingredients and the perfect balance between flavours make this restaurant an absolute must.

Had a nice look into the kitchen and received some background information from the chef. Very nice. Food may be a little more expensive than at other restaurants, but it is more than worth it and you certainly won't leave hungry.

Top, top and again top. Incredibly delicious Christmas menu. We arrived at a quarter to seven and left at a quarter past twelve. Enjoy top dishes for more than five hours.

You will be taken care of. Special flavors and matching wines. Even if you have dietary requirements, a special alternative is offered. Super.

Way too expensive for what you get. Food is extremely bad. Go further for something like that. Unbelievable rubbish. They pretend to be a star restaurant, but in a negative way. Brrrr

“Metropolitan” delicious food in our own village. Super hospitable: a real pampering evening, without any dissonance whatsoever!! Absolutely recommended......shhh, don't tell anyone.

The non-alcoholic drinks package is very good, tip might also allow half glasses. The food was delicious. We thought the deer stew and cheese board were the tastiest. The vegetarian menu is also delicious. Definitely recommended to eat here.

Eating here for the first time. We were received and served very kindly. The menu consists of fixed courses that are adjusted every month, including the matching drinks. We were the first guest guinea pigs😅 so they received the new monthly menu. It was delicious with beautifully balanced flavors. It is presented as a work of art. It was wonderful to enjoy again! This time a fantastic anniversary dinner, with a singer. Delicious dishes that we recognized from the past 9(!) years. We started with a rosé cava with various appetizers served. Then every course of the dinner (we had steak tartare, fish, duck breast, cheese board) was completely delicious, taking into account a nut allergy. We opted for the non-alcoholic drink package with dinner. Not only a fun experience to have a different mocktail explained with each course, but the flavors combined really well. After coffee/tea with chocolates we could say it was a great evening!

In this restaurant you eat a fixed menu of 4, 5 or 6 courses. You have a direct view of the kitchen where everything is prepared. The cuisine is French, the dishes are small. Yet you won't go home hungry. Not overcrowded either by the way. The dishes make nice combinations with vegetables and other elements (a crispy van..., a cream of... etc). You gotta love that. At least we did, everything was delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant. There are approximately 25 to 30 seats. The service is friendly and you also get a nice story with each wine. In short, an excellent experience! This restaurant is also very suitable for a party. The concept lends itself well to a walking dinner, where you get the dishes on small plates in an informal manner and you can easily speak to different people. There were about 30 people of us here, but I think you can also accommodate 50 people here this way. The food is also delicious, the service attentive and very friendly. I would recommend it to everyone!

We found the non-alcoholic arrangement very/too sweet. We found the portions of the dishes to be on the small side. Sometimes the explanation of the wines was very long, while only 2-3 out of 8 people drank wine.

A well-organized afternoon with original anuses that tasted fantastic!

Just simply brilliant. Food was fantastic, wines were sublime and the service was great. We sat at the table for 5 hours and enjoyed it immensely.

We were surprised by the fixed menu. What wonderful flavors, combinations and matching wines. Here you can quietly enjoy the fantastic food. We are pleasantly surprised.

The 'flat iron' was mediocre, a bottle of water turned out to cost €7 (!), the slices of scallop tasted strange and I had diarrhea and stomach complaints the day after dinner (not clear whether that was a coincidence or due to the dinner). . The creativity of the dishes and especially the layout was excellent, as was the extremely special and delicious dessert.

We had such a delicious meal, a whole range of flavors wrapped in a beautiful package, tried 5 courses and everything was well coordinated, nice wine and fantastic friendly service. The small but cozy restaurant has a homely yet chic feeling that, in combination with the open kitchen, is the perfect combination for a pleasant (in our case) romantic evening. Highly recommended.

We came to celebrate my husband's birthday with the kids (aged 7 and 10). We opted for 5 courses and each course was delicious in terms of flavor combinations. The children also ate (almost) everything. We recommend that you also include the wine package. It complements the dishes very nicely and is therefore really of added value! Although you will need to spend a bit of money, we had the chefs table which was really good. When asked if they could do it in English they were very helpful and explained everything in English. There is a wide variety of different wines which can go with every course. Doing this is an evening filling program with very good food, very nice atmosphere, and friendly and helpful staff. Every month they have a different custom menu which is designed to work very well together. Definitely a recommendation and something to go back to.

July 8, 2023 reserved for the chefs table. Highly recommended for lovers of not only delicious food, but also for when you want to ask questions, for example. the kitchen staff. An ideal idea for a wonderful festive evening out. I look forward to next time.

Food is good. I found the wine arrangement a bit disappointing. The wines were not at the right temperature. We thought the waiting time between dishes was too long. Sometimes it took almost an hour before we got the next course. So a 4 hour sit (from 1800 to 2215) is way too long. We therefore had no need for coffee. Because we wanted to go home. It's all about having a fun experience.

The food was delicious but not hot. Often very lukewarm. Too bad that the kitchen staff was also regularly eating/snacking. Personally, I don't think that is possible in an open kitchen. Hands were not washed afterwards either, I think that is not done.

I was quite nervous beforehand, I don't like everything. But all that tension fell away from me inside. Each dish came with a very knowledgeable explanation and our dietary requirements were very well taken into account. We enjoyed fantastic food and company all evening!

We thought the food was very tasty and prepared with great care, with the exception of the dessert: chorizo ​​ice cream. Your feeling expects something sweet.....and it certainly isn't that. Several guests had mixed feelings about this dessert. It was very tasty, but also a slightly underfilled stomach afterwards. We have ever eaten better at Smaak en Vermaak.

We went to Taste & Entertainment for the first time on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, we will never come back for Christmas. The quality of the food was moderate to ok. However, if we look at restaurants with a comparable price tag, the quality of the food, the very economical wine pairings and the service were quite disappointing. Approximately 400 euros (including wine arrangement + glass of champagne) The staff made quite a few mistakes, for example some dishes were missing. ingredients that I had, but my wife did not. A glass of wine was served for both me and my wife at the wrong course, later they found out and also served the wine for the course afterwards. It only costs 8-12 euros, but as an employee/owner I would have taken that for granted. When we received the bill, we were missing some things on the bill. We reported this, which led to 75 euros more, including the mistakes they had made themselves. Personally, I would have been more lenient with that as well. We also thought it was a very long sitting, but that may be personal (6:00 PM - 12:15 AM). On the other hand, the restaurant was very nicely decorated and the staff was very friendly, our compliments for that! Don't get me wrong, for 200 euros we would have had a great evening. But with these prices and the lack of a little attention for the mistakes made, it leaves a bit of a bad aftertaste.

Yesterday I went to another restaurant. I spent the same price as I spent in Smaak & Vermaak last week. However, I started to realize how much more joy and taste I got from the time I was in Smaak & Vermaak. Me and my family enjoyed every moment here. Firstly the staff are very welcomed and knowledgeable about the food. Secondly, the food and drinks are so good. Take the food for example: we felt layers of tastes, textures, soft and hard, color. It was truly a treat for the taste. As for the drinks. I only had one glass of wine because I had to drive. But the rest of my family enjoyed the drinks very much too. Thanks to the chefs and staff for providing us with the wonderful evening. Good efforts deserve being seen! You will not regret to come here!

Even though there were only three of us and the rest of the tables were empty (very unusual situation due to the bad weather), the staff did their utmost and we had a really delicious meal. Small portions just prepared and served with care. Recommended!!

My friend and I had booked a weekend away at a hotel in Zoetermeer. After a wonderful spa day, my friend really wanted to go to fine dining. Then we came across this restaurant, within walking distance of the hotel. Coincidentally, this weekend was only game evening, so all game meat dishes. Well, that's great, we like that and they still had a spot available. Delicious food and excellent wines that complimented the food perfectly. We come from Amsterdam ourselves and the average amount we spend on fine dining there is a lot higher haha. Compliments to the staff and chefs!

De gerechten zijn heerlijk en de borden werkelijk prachtig opgemaakt. Wij konden dat opmaken ook goed zien vanaf onze tafel. Hoofdgerecht was wel wat aan de kleine kant, zelfs met de surplu krieltjes er bij, waren zelfs de kleinere eters van het gezelschap niet voldaan. Wijn serveren van 12,00 per glas zonder dit even vooraf te melden was ook een verrassing bij het afrekenen.

Zoals elke keer ook nu weer heerlijk gegeten, bijzondere gerechten, heerlijke wijnen met een mooi verhaal erbij! Super team in de keuken en in de bediening, echt Top!! Tot de volgende keer weer! :)
