With one of the best snack bars on the Zeeland coast. Everything is getting more expensive, but there's still plenty of choice with reasonable portions. The fried fish is recommended.

Great sea views with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is delicious 😋, and prices are still reasonable. It's self-service, but it's quick. You'll get a pager and you can pick up your food. Parking is available, and it's even free. 👍

Nice chip shop, right on the water

From a small food truck, where I loved eating fish as a child, to a cozy restaurant. The glass-fronted porch is very comfortable and offers a great view of the hustle and bustle of the Verse Sea. In good weather, you can also sit outside.

Great location, nice people. 1x Friet Oorloog, 1x Friet met Stoofvlees: €15.10. The fries were quite tasty, but could have been a bit bigger. The portion of Stoofvlees was just a spoonful, but it was okay. In my experience as a Friet fan, it could be much better. That you have to pay extra for the great location is perhaps to be expected.

Wat een vreselijke ballentent!. 5 euro voor een klein bakje patat speciaal. En je ziet dat zeeland achtergebleven gebied is. Overal in dr randstad waar je vraagt om friet met een saus krijg je de saus apart in zo.n klein bakje wat eraan vast zit. Schandalig. Maar ja als je alle tokkies ziet die daar komen eten snap ik t wel.

Top location, with all the Dutch specialties: Frit special, Lange Lummel, Bitterballen, Bamihap, Kipcorn, superb quality with a great atmosphere and a view of the Veersemeer. Not cheap, but worth the money. Unfortunately, it's self-service, and sometimes there are long waits.

Our favorite stall at Lake Veerse – for over 20 years! Wimpie at Lake Veerse has been a regular stop for us for over two decades. Even back when it was just a small van, we loved coming here – today, the stall has developed into a truly beautiful location with a great outdoor area and a glass-enclosed terrace, so you can sit comfortably even in bad weather. The location right on the water is simply unbeatable. Here you can sit and relax, enjoy the view, and treat yourself to a portion of truly delicious food. The fries and snacks are always fresh and taste excellent! The staff is also always friendly and cheerful, which further underlines the relaxed atmosphere. One small downside is the now quite high prices, especially considering that it's still self-service. Nevertheless, we enjoy coming back every year – for us, one or two visits to Wimpie are simply a must for every holiday at Lake Veerse.

We have been coming surfing once or twice a year for over 35 years. It was always tradition to eat the first fried fish at Wimpie on the day of arrival. It has become quite expensive and unfortunately the taste is no longer as good as it used to be. Then it's better to go to a restaurant. The price is the same.

We usually come here to eat once or twice during our annual vacation. This time we stopped right when we arrived at lunchtime before heading to the holiday home. Fried fish with fries and salad was delicious as always. The weather was also good, we were able to sit outside with a beautiful view of the Veersemeer. All in all, highly recommended!

Based on the reviews and photos, we ordered the Vis and Schnitzel menu to take away. Instead of 16.- as advertised everywhere, we had to pay 16.20.-!?! plus 1.- packaging. The service person asked about it but didn't get any information. Baked fish was okay, but the fries were warmed up three times (never seen that before, disgusting) and the schnitzel was also warmed up. It couldn't have come from the transport, it was only about 2 minutes to the campsite. It seems that it is the scam for takeaway, as other campers have also experienced this! The sauces and dips are artificially baked...

Great food with a beautiful view. My favorite snack stop in Zeeland. The vis is always excellent and in my opinion the menus offer a great alternative to visiting an expensive restaurant. Unfortunately, the food is served on paper plates and in snack bowls. I think it's no longer up to date given the great quality and the rest of the features.

Wie immer, wenn wir im Camperpark Zeeland sind, gehen wir hier essen. Es ist ein einfaches Restaurant mit großer Auswahl und geht über eine "Pommesbude" hinaus. Alles bisher gegessene schmeckte lecker (egal ob zB Fisch oder Schnitzel). Hier ist es immer relativ voll. Trotzdem ist das Personal freundlich und wirkt nicht gestresst. Die Tische könnten allerdings öfter mal abgewischt werden :) Die Aussicht aufs Veerse Meer mit den Surfern und Booten ist klasse.
