The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. The portions of fries are a bit small, though, which is a shame because the flavor is excellent.

Correction: this snack bar has been on the Zuiddijk for over 50 years. Different owners, mind you. Quality has always remained the same (good).

I got a very watery milkshake. It took way too long, even though I was second in line. There was no "course," which you'd expect from a snack bar.

The food was delicious! I've never had fries cooked so well before. The lady was incredibly kind. All in all, a 10/10.

Duration. Peanut sauce costs 1.5 euros per portion. Had 2 fries with peanut sauce and a Mexicano with peanut sauce. 4.5 euros for sauce alone. Read in another review that the sauce is homemade, but Wijko tastes better. Shame. Next time we'll go a little further to Bolke.

Come there regularly, the snacks are delicious and the fries are good. They make the peanut sauce themselves and it is tasty. Just too few vegetarian snacks. But the help is very kind.

Really kind owners who care about your well-being. The food is not too oily, and they are always open for a talk. Perfect place for when you’re hungry but don’t want to spend too much. It also is a small, local eatery for when you want an authentic experience instead of the tourist places here in Zaandam. So you should definitely pay them a visit when you’re closeby.

Delicious burger in a short time, great!!

I got small amounts...the cheeseburger was also very minimal; I had to look for the cheese. The pistachio flavor was also evident in the pistachio milkshake. There were clearly cutbacks on ingredients... too bad. I won't be going here again in the future.
