Friendly service, delicious food - always happy to come back!

You won't find better fries anywhere than here. A beautiful golden brown, I don't understand how they manage that. Update 6-09-2025 Still just as delicious, but still €2 more expensive than last year for two fries with peanut sauce that's a bit on the thin side. Too bad, where does it keep getting more expensive?

Great fries. But they can only handle two orders at a time. I had to wait at least 20 minutes (as the first one) just to place my order. The order was fine afterward, but a little more activity in the kitchen wouldn't hurt sales.

Never had such a pathetic cheeseburger. The cheese wasn't even on it to begin with? Went back, and they put a cold slice of cheddar on it. It had no other choice, since the burger is fried. Instead of a tomato, it had a small cherry tomato, some sad lettuce leaves, and three drops of sauce. What a disappointment, and all that for that price. Satay sauce was €1.50 per portion 🫣. The young people working there were friendly and polite, hence the 4 stars for service. We won't be back. Why 2 stars for the food and not 1? The hogweed was delicious. It was €4.95 without sauce. Peanut sauce was €1.50, so a hogweed peanut costs €6.45 here 🤨

We were hungry after a long day at the beach. So we went over to Didi's for something to eat. The menu is in Dutch and impossible to decipher without a cell phone or Dutch language skills. We chose what we could decipher: hamburgers with fries. Three hamburgers and three fries bowls were placed together, and the fries were generously poured onto the bowls. (Half was on the tray.) Our cutlery was only made of wood, which we decided not to use. The large "chip shop" also served soft-serve ice cream. When we went to get some ice cream a few hours later (about two), it was busy. The employees seemed very stressed (I counted five). A young lady was standing at the counter, taking orders, cashing, and making ice cream. So, we stood there in line and watched. And we saw the young lady who had just accepted money lay out raw food with her bare hands and then wipe her hands on her pants. So in Germany, that's a violation of the Federal Disease Control Act. I don't know how it is in the Netherlands.

Expectations were fully met, and there was also satay croquette – not available everywhere. We'll definitely be back this holiday.

My last review, which only gave the food 2 stars, has been corrected. The kipsate was delicious and plentiful again. The fries were well-fried and the quantity was more consistent. (3 visits: ordered medium fries, enough for two people) 100% recommendation Significant improvement compared to May/June 2025

I used to eat here as a child. It's changed a bit, but it's always nice to come back. From now on, we'll always come here when we're in the area. Good portions and friendly staff. We're already looking forward to next year.

The cheeseburger is not recommended: cheap sliced ​​cheese cold in the burger, the meat dry and grilled too dark, not enough salad, and the bun could have been put on the grill for a bit (it was cold). The fries were also left in the fryer too long! A shame for this snack bar. With more love, they could offer something delicious and better with good ingredients!

Homemade satay sauce too. It was very kind of us to eat first and pay afterward. - We found it a bit chaotic. The owner talks quite loudly and speaks Dutch/Arabic with her husband, but they seemed to be bickering. Not very pleasant when you're sitting there. The owner mentioned expensive snack bars in the village, but wow... A Mexicano for 3.95, medium fries with satay sauce for 5.00, a hamburger for 6.95, a can of soda for 3.00/3.40! Not exactly cheap either! The hamburger was a deep-fried frozen hamburger, such a shame!

We spent a week at Center Parcs (Port Zelande), but the only snacks available there were incredibly overpriced and disgusting. Just like along the dike. I was so glad we stumbled upon Snackbar DIDI after doing some grocery shopping in Ouddorp. They had friendly staff and a wide selection of snacks, etc. We were a large group, and everyone wanted something different. This snack bar had it all. And... everything was absolutely delicious! I recommend everyone who's on holiday there to take the time to drive the 10 minutes... because the difference in quality and service is enormous. Highly recommended. P.S. Unfortunately, they don't deliver.

Nice interior, good in bad weather. Unfortunately, the taste could be improved. The frikandel is soggy. Prices too high for the quality.

Typical snack bar with typical Dutch snacks. If you don't speak Dutch, you can at least get ahead with English, and sometimes German. Cozy sofa sets in the outdoor area.

You should think about the staff. Language-lazy and unfriendly. We felt like we weren't welcome. We asked for a little explanation of the food because everything was in Dutch, but even then they couldn't help. As a side dish there was salad without dressing, I've never experienced that before. And goodbye...never again

We liked the food and everything was clean and functional. The staff made us wait for a while to finish a private conversation. But the lady was friendly and responded to our wishes.

Hygiene ist zumindest heute, 1.10. zumindest von einer Essenzubereiterin ein Desaster.Ich glaube,sie hat davon noch nie etwas gehört. Die gleichen Handschuh , sie wurden nie gewechselt beim Essen zubereiten und Putzarbeiten, wie Müllsäcke raustragen.

Netter Ort für einen Snack zwischendurch.

Für eine snack bar war das Essen absolut in Ordnung und lecker. Die Preise sind normal. Um mal eben nach dem strandbesuch seinen Appetit oder Hunger zu stillen ist es super.

Snackbar Didi is top! Het eten is heerlijk, vers en van topkwaliteit. Het vriendelijke personeel zorgt voor een gastvrije sfeer en snelle service. De menukeuze is uitgebreid en de porties zijn royaal. Vooral de halve kip is om te smullen! Ik raad Snackbar Didi ten zeerste aan voor een smakelijke en gezellige eetervaring. Tot gauw weer!

Leckeres Essen und guter Preis.

Bakje frites oorlog zonder zout en fricandel speciaal besteld en afgehaald, smaakte heerlijk. Was wel erg druk op zondag

Leider gab es letztes Jahr kaum Kibbeling bzw. Nur an einem Tag. Vielleicht sieht es diesen Sommer ja besser aus.

Fritten gut, Fleischkrokette noch eine echte, typischer gute Snackbar, Imbiss wie mN sich das in Holland vorstellt.

Sehr freundlicher Service, leckere Snacks Gerne wieder

Auf dem Besuch bei Didis Snackbar wird sich jedes Jahr gefreut … hier kann man immer kurz vorbeikommen, egal ob man etwas mitnimmt oder dort ist, man trifft auf einen sympathischen Service und wird fix bedient. Auch 2022 waren wir wieder im Lieblingsort und natürlich bei Didi. Es hat sich nichts geändert, wir kommen immer noch gerne und genießen den sympathischen Service und das leckere Essen.

De beste patat in Ouddorp en omgeving! Plus alle andere denkbare snack-dingen. Ook ijs en drankjes. Je kunt ook rustig binnen zitten

Außerhalb der Hauptsaison leider nicht mehr täglich geöffnet. Hat alles was Holland - 'Snack' Liebhaber begehren.... Bamihab, Frikandel... Und leckeres Softeis... Man kann drinnen und draussen sitzen.

Schöner Stellplatz, nahe am Sportplatz und dadurch natürlich etwas lauter

Ik kom hier meer dan twee jaar ze spreken me zelfs met mijn naam aan en hebben voor mij gezongen op mijn verjaardag de eigenaar is een lieve vrouw die altijd even hoi zegt het eten is ook niet verkeerd ik vind de frikandellen en de Mexicanos erg lekker maar de patat vind ik super lekker de prijs is best redelijk ik raad iedereen om hier is een hapje mooie locatie lieve werknemers is gewoon top 10/10

Met 15 man binnen gegeten. Van te voren gereserveerd. Prima geregeld. Goede kwaliteit. Zelf halve kip op, aan te bevelen!

We hebben heerlijk gegeten bij Didi buiten op t terras! Een gezellige gastvrouw met altijd wel een praatje en overheerlijke frietjes en de frikandel speciaal en de kroket, ja super lekker! Een aanrader!

Niet slecht, maar zeker niet geweldig. Beetje te duur voor wat het is.

Essen ist gut, Personal ist sehr freundlich (trotz der Tatsache dass es immer viele hungrige Gäste gibt) und die Preise sind fair und das warten auf dem Essen dauert in der regel nicht lange. Bin selbst Niederländer und finde Didi eine richtig gute Snackbar 😃 Die „Familie-Pommes Tüten“ für 5 Personen sind Super!
