The owner himself is a very nice and sociable man. He also always ensures good portions. Never had anything to complain about. But I do wonder where he picked the staff from July 9 ('26) from. A group of uninterested children; no greeting, just the bill mentioned. We paid immediately. I saw on the receipt that the order was ready, but we didn't get it right away. We had to wait first. Two other customers came for an order. They served them first before we received ours. Once we arrived home, we also saw that the bag was only three-quarters full. From now on, I will only go when the owner is there; then at least that is a hospitable experience.

The food is mediocre... but what shocked me more were the unfriendly staff. What a shame! Every single one of them was very unpleasant.

Now for the 3rd time I didn't get Joppie sauce with it, and you order ketchup you get curry... worthless!

Closes 20 minutes earlier than indicated on Google and the website. No way to get fries after that.

Someone from Icare recommended picking up fries here. However, we didn't like the fries ourselves. They were all small and hard, see the photo.

Crappy snack bar. Opening time is until 7 o'clock in the evening on Sunday, so you show up at the door at 10 to 7 and they refuse you to order anything. I think fries only take 5 minutes at most, so set your opening time to 4:45 PM if you don't want people in your business after that. So I can't recommend this to anyone.

I have rarely experienced such unfriendly customer treatment. Ordered food by phone, agreed time. It was busy in the snack bar, which had already been mentioned by telephone. It's logical that things can take a bit of a turn. However, in our case it took unusually long to collect. The line of waiting people who came before us had already completely disappeared and even people who came after us and ordered on the spot had already left. Something must have gone wrong with the order. I was not rude and simply asked in a friendly manner after waiting 35 minutes if something had gone wrong. The response and actions were so unfriendly and unprofessional. I was clearly told to just be patient and my question about whether something had gone wrong with the order was not answered. We then waited a total of 50 minutes. One order after another was picked up. The row had already been completely refreshed twice. When our order was ready after 50 minutes and they said that this was completely normal without any apology, I said that it was really strange that it had taken so long. Then I was embarrassed in front of the entire snack bar by the oldest employee that I could have used the moment to socialize and make new contacts there. And again no apology that something went wrong with our telephone order. I shouldn't have been so difficult. Incomprehensible and shocking customer-unfriendly behavior.

Frying is different from cremating... from the bacon snack, the lihan leg to the fries (without salt too). It's a shame that this snack bar is declining so quickly.

People/staff were friendly but I was very surprised to see how all the food was laid out in order on the counter during which time several people touched and handled the food without wearing gloves. This is Hygiene 101. I don't think I've ever seen such flagrant disregard for food handling.

Altijd snel geholpen en super vriendelijk personeel

Normaal gesproken ga ik altijd naar snackbar KO in Hoogeveen, maar omdat hij nu op baka toe was weer een keer hiernaar toe. Het is me zeker niet tegengevallen. Prima personeel, aardig, goede service. XS af er hygiënisch uit en de friet was ook mooi zacht gebakken zoals ik vroeg. Zeker een aanrader als je in Hoogeveen bent om hoedje frietje te halen!

Curry is geen standaard bij speciaal 🤮 wie eet er nu speciaal met ketchup 🤮

Klassischer Imbiss in den Niederlanden. Essen war gut und schnell zubereitet. Service freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr beliebt bei den umliegenden Handwerkern. Direkt vor der Tür Parkplätze vorhanden. Sitzgelegenheiten vor der Tür vorhanden. Preise waren sehr günstig. Portionen waren auch seht gut.
