Snackbar Jopie in Veghel

We had an incredibly delicious meal and it's a beautiful/clean place to sit. We were here a bit later in the evening, so we were able to sit quietly and enjoy our food. The staff/owner were incredibly nice and everything was ready quickly. We understand that it is undoubtedly busier here around dinnertime, but for our first time, it's a 10/10. We will definitely come here more often. 😋

Very bad experience! The meatballs were sour and seemed spoiled. This is absolutely not what you expect when ordering food somewhere. The taste and smell were so unpleasant that I could not eat them any further. I find this truly unacceptable, especially when it comes to food safety. I hope this is looked into seriously, because this should not happen. No second time for me.

Friendly person and the meatballs in gravy with mayo were also delicious 😁👌

The food was very good! The chicken burger offered excellent value for money. The fries with peanut sauce were very good! Top service and good atmosphere! Top place, Jopie!

As always, very good and friendly staff

Just a little bit better than the average chip shop👍👍

Good fries and snacks. Ready on time.

The food is very tasty, but with this hot weather, air conditioning would really not be an unnecessary luxury. It is a shame that there is no cooling system. That really affects dining comfort on hot days. It is so hot inside that you are actually better off getting takeout than eating inside. I really regret staying to eat, because it was incredibly hot inside.

I had a good meal, but I didn't get my food on a plate, but in a plastic, environmentally polluting container. I had made that with it a few years ago as well.

Good fries, really top quality. The staff are amazing and work incredibly hard, even during a hot summer day of 30 degrees. That deserves appreciation!!

The food was very good and prepared quickly. Large order and despite the busyness, quick and flawless. Compliments.

Top quality snacks and fries. Friendly staff.

Eating here with friends on the way back from a bike ride. Large portions for reasonable prices. All four of us chose a burger menu: a large plate with lots of fries, plenty of raw vegetables, and a tasty burger.

Well-organized snack bar with good quality products. Pleasant seating and friendly staff.

Fast service, great fries, and easy parking.

A chip shop the way it should be. No smell when you walk in, friendly staff, and crispy fries. They serve you quickly, and it looks spotless inside.

The place looks good and well-maintained. The staff is very friendly. The food is truly delicious, and you get a lot.

The fries were well done and you can also get extra ingredients here, they don't call it white gold for nothing

⭐️ Review: Friettent Jopie, Veghel (Safety First) Overall, my visit to Friettent Jopie was a very positive experience! The fries and snacks were of good quality, the service was excellent, and everything was well-organized. ⚠️ Urgent Attention Point: The Automatic Door While the products and service were perfect, there is one point that requires urgent attention, and that concerns safety: The automatic swing door at the entrance opens too quickly when customers try to enter. If you are not alert, the door can suddenly move and hit your body with force. This is especially dangerous for small children. It would be advisable to adjust the sensor or the door speed to eliminate this safety risk. Conclusion: With the delicious products and excellent service, Friettent Jopie is highly recommended! If the problem with the automatic door is resolved, the experience will be truly perfect.

The food was good, quickly prepared and not too expensive, however the comment from the woman behind the counter when we left, that I could also pay in kind next time, was a bit strange, next time I'll try how much fries that yields.

Not pleasant to look at, but good food.

The air smelled of frying oil and promise. In front of Jopie’s facade stood a large soft-serve ice cream cone like a watchtower of sweetness. Els ordered three frikandellen at once and sang about the deep fryer as if it were the lungs of the earth. Her voice struck the tiles, sparkling and greasy. Harm took a photo of the “menu of the month” sign, slightly slanted of course, and thought: the discount number is sometimes holier than the number of angels. Then Rian van Rijbroek entered, wearing a coat that smelled of ozone and servers. A black leather Johnny Vintage and Leathers iPhone bag with RFID dangled from her shoulder, which she carefully placed next to the fries sauce. “Even fries need to be protected,” she said seriously, “against hunger and against data theft.” Els danced with a bami disc in her hand and shouted: “This is my field! This is my energy!” And Harm wrote in his review: “4 stars. The fat was honest, the fries spoke the truth, and the bag remained holy silent.”

Very tasty but on the expensive side

11 staff members, 7 of whom were working; 2 were waiting by the cash register until they had to spring into action for the 4 guests who were eating. And 2 were in the corner by the kitchen, chatting happily. Then I had to wait another 4 minutes before I could place my order. Even though there was no one else present. And they weren't all (the 7) preparing the order. And as we have come to expect, the food there is perfect.

Always good! Very nice snack bar

It's a shame this good chip shop doesn't want any comments, but unfortunately, this was the last time for us. It's a shame guests deserve to be listened to, not the 14-year-old children who work in a chip shop. They don't appreciate criticism here.

A very nice, clean, and tasty snack bar. Just as it should be. Fast and friendly service. Excellent.

Wow, oh my, oh my. The food here is truly delicious. Recommended: Shashlik. Not cheap, but the pork tenderloin is incredibly tasty.

Got some delicious soft ice cream

Quickly helped and generous portions. Also very tasty.

Good food and great service 👍

We were on our bikes and wanted some soft drinks. The business wasn't open and the laser pointer wouldn't be open for another 2 hours. While sitting on the bench there, the owner came to say that they were not open yet and that nothing was warm yet. She could, however, sell us drinks or ice cream. Really super sweet of her.....

Really good!! If you haven’t visited please do, food is really good and staff is amazing! If you come make sure don’t eat three days before as the portion are pretty large ;) Somewhere below the food is a plate ;)

Very nice snack bar, friendly staff

Nice place, friendly staff, good food

Great chip shop with reasonable prices! I ate here during my lunch break. For fries with stew and mayonnaise, a special "friekandel" (fried beef special), and a can of Dr. Pepper, you pay €12.65. You also get a full container of fries and plenty of sauce, as you'd expect. The seating is clean and the staff is friendly. They even bring your food to your table. I eat here often.

Real quality cafeteria. Recommended!

Dutch culinary specialties at a very fair price. Thanks ever...

Super tasty food, not too stingy with sauce, great! Clean snack bar. Fast service. I enjoy eating there with my daughter.

My 1st impression is great. Super quality food. Very friendly and service-oriented staff. Delivered within fifteen minutes. In short, a 10 for Snackbar Jopie.

A beautiful, large snack bar with a luxurious atmosphere. Friendly staff and delicious food.

Good atmosphere, very friendly staff. In short: recommended!

We were passing through here. Large selection of Dutch snacks! Really nice service.

Waited for half an hour, still not helped so I left

A snack bar as it should be. Excellent food, decent portions, a nice seating area, and very friendly staff. We stop here for a bite to eat every time we attend a PSV match.

Cozy restaurant/cafeteria Fricandel special is very special there with satay sauce. Was delicious

Standing in Vorstenbosch on camping, snack bar Jopie was quickly found. Ordered online, agreed on time and ready at the moment of arrival. Delicious snacks and fries, the various dishes were also easy to keep down in Brabant. Great solution if you don't feel like cooking.

Simply the tastiest fries and snacks!

The fries were really delicious, the rest was too!! Just really enjoyed it

After a long time I got fries from Jopie. It will never be as tasty as "before", with its fresh fries. But it really disappointed me. Fries were tough and the snacks were fried for too long.

We wanted to stop for a driving break and a quick bite. We bith had patate speciaal -- by far the best chips we've had in three weeks in Belgium/Holland. My partner also had a bami schijf which was also great. Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. If you need a quick break for some fast food go to Jopie.

Fine fries, bit expensive. Service to table is fast and pleasant. Nice modern snackbar with plenty of seating.

Good snack bar, with an extensive choice. The portions are also more than sufficient.

Yippeeeeee, frikandelleke young one, nothing wrong with 10 points

I loved the fries and their homemade sauce!

The staff did not really radiate that they were looking forward to their work and that you were welcome. Pity! While food was fine.

We arrived late at Eindhoven airport and had to eat on Sunday evening before the long road to Emmen. This came our way. Just before closing time. Some fast food that was very good. The waiter suggested that we could stay seated for a while - around 9 p.m. - because they still had to clean. An option in Veghel for a great quick bite, close to the highway that I recommend.

What a discovery while traveling! In a spotlessly clean and attractive restaurant, we were extensively and professionally informed about the range by a very hospitable Kevin and he recommended the Angus burger with Jopie sauce. That turned out to be a direct hit! Plus a delicious yogurt shake with orange flavor. Top!!

Service, food and location are top notch. It appears that Swan Lake has only 1 resident left.

Neat and clean cafeteria with good staff. There is also a lot of choice if you are a vegetarian.

Beautiful restaurant, delicious food and very kind workers. Excellent service and fair price. 👏

Delicious food and a lot of it. We ordered a separate salad from the Jopies Hawaii burger menu, but to our satisfaction the menu already included plenty of fresh salad. So highly recommended! What completes it is the mayonnaise that is nicely spread over the fries and the whole thing is served on a full plate. Delicious, high quality portion. Old-fashioned tasty in a modern new snack bar. We'll be back here!

The salad was too much lettuce, it could be different if it is prepared with love, the rest was fine

The mayonnaise lay like a layer on top of the fries, resulting in soggy fries. The same goes for the frikandel special that we only had.

Good fries, wide choice of snacks. Possibility to order online, now also with delivery.

This has been a good snack bar for years, food is very good, service is smooth, correct and friendly. You can eat your food inside, the space is very neat and looks nice. I don't give 5 stars because then there is no room for improvement.

Almost everything was tasty, except for the wrong ketchup on the frikadel special, I think Hela ketchup is the tastiest.

Vriendelijk personeel, schoon toilet, snacks waren goed, heel klein beetje jammer dat saus over de friet gaat.

Zojuist weer lekker gegeten.

Heerlijke friet!

Mooie snackbar met terras bij goed weer. Heerlijke producten voor een goede prijs. Fijne bediening. Tot snel!

Nette bediening en lekkere frites!

very expensive and the food was a bit burnt, would not recommend.

Dichtbij de snelweg. Parkeerplaats bij de deur. Brandschoon.

Lekker frietje gegeten daar. Was carnaval dus erg druk. Het was voor ons niet duidelijk dat je aan een aparte balie moest bestellen als je daar wou eten. Een klant heeft ons daar op gewezen

Lekker eten, vriendelijke vlotte bediening

Friet erg lekker.
