Snackbar Mingwai in Wijk 08 Zuidwest

I do not share the other experiences of this topic. I ordered: large fries without, cheese soufflé and 5 mini spring rolls (with chili sauce). First the good. I was helped very friendly and there was a real neighborhood cafeteria atmosphere. The price and quality were less. The fries were limp and not very tasty. Cheese soufflé and mini spring rolls were also excellent. The store itself is decorated very basic, and there is nothing wrong with that. The choice is also limited. But the prices are average, not particularly cheap. On the way back I also realized that 9.80 for my order was very expensive. 2 euros for a cheese soufflé and 2.50 for mini spring rolls leaves 5.30 for a large fries (which weren't really large) and chili sauce. Something must have gone wrong somewhere. Long story short, not a very positive experience.

When you say snack bar, you say Mingwai. On Sundays, get a bear claw peanut or just say hello to the nice, cheerful lady behind the counter. This is Channel Islands pride and loyalty is what we swear by all the goodies from Minwai's fat! 🍟

Very warmly received upon arrival! As mentioned before, try the peanut sauce ;). Definitely recommended if you live nearby.
