In East Westphalia, they'd say: "You can eat it." A great selection of savory and sweet treats. A Dutch grandfather gave us Germans some excellent recommendations. We don't want to withhold this recommendation from you, so we'll tell you: Two minutes of cycling along the road, then turn right over the bridge, and then another two minutes of cycling. It's a 750-year-old windmill. A real gem.

This isn't what it used to be. I miss the real Moonlight ):

We had croquettes (veal and chicken), fries (mayo and special), and a Bami Schijf (a kind of burger). Everything was delicious, the fries were very, very good. Back at the hotel, we immediately checked to see if the snack bar would be open again two days later, on our departure day (Yeeeees!). The people were very nice to us and spoke good English. It was just a shame that there weren't many seats outside.

Disappointing experience. Communication with the customer is poor. Soft ice cream is absolutely not recommended. The ice cream I ordered was not really tasty, and was quite soggy that it almost fell off the cone. To make matters worse, there was also a hair on my ice cream! Unfortunately, a few of the kids wanted disco dip. So we did it, but it was really the last bit in a dusty container (from last year?). I wish every company good business, but you really have to do something for that.

Not tasty.. peanut sauce really dirty.. Order incomplete Isn't what it used to be... shame.

Fantastic family who run a somewhat simple snack bar, but the quality and hygiene there are 100% and the prices are still friendly. Highly recommended for those with a tasty appetite and the soft ice cream is also of excellent quality.

Very tasty food, super friendly and good service, warm and open atmosphere inside and out. Maybe one day there will be an extensive review on my tiktok burak's kitchen. But what I wanted to highlight besides the food are the milkshakes. The milkshakes are extremely tasty, super freshly made in front of you but a bit sweet if you don't like it, ask for a less strong flavor and especially the pistachio and passion fruit milkshake will send you to Willy Wonkas wonderland😍🤤🥛

After a beautiful long walk through Schiedam, I chose to get a value menu at this nice authentic snack bar. When I arrived, I quickly changed my choice because a homemade Kofte sandwich caught my eye. This was really delicious and afterwards I had a nice ice cream to finish it off. The staff was very friendly and professional and in this snack bar you still have old-fashioned prices that you hardly see anywhere else in the Randstad. I'm going to Schiedam again this summer and I will definitely come back!

When craving for a greasy snack, please go elsewhere. The fries might still be consumable (although halfways raw) most snacks are salty enough to kill your kidneys in one lunch. The owner might be a nice chap, but even so, he should start to improve.

Those who prefer to enjoy a quick bite close to the church can go to Snackbar Moonlight and Bram Ladage. Moonlight is located on Lange Kerkstraat, it is a nice white building. There is seating inside to eat your order, of course you can also pick it up and eat it at home. There are of course fries, of good quality, and there are also various snacks and dishes composed of fries and snacks, such as burgers, satay, etc. It is all fresh food and excellent quality, the service is friendly.
