Four people are behind the counter. Two people are waiting at a table for their orders. I've been waiting for five minutes, but no one helps me; they don't even notice me. I tell them I've had enough, leave, and will never come back. I live in the old village myself, what a spectacle!

We've been coming to Den Helder for 40 years and it's a family tradition to eat there first thing when we arrive 👍

The frikandel was great, but the fries with special sauce were in the oil too long; I had a stomach ache that evening.

We wanted to eat at the snack bar. But dogs weren't allowed. So we left again because it was too cold to sit on the terrace.

Every year we come to Julianadorp, the first meal we've had is the hamburger menu. It's always been consistently good and delicious. The service is friendly.

We had the shashlik menu and were unfortunately disappointed. It was about 40 grams of indefinable, deep-fried meat on a skewer with tiny amounts of onions and peppers. It came with a dab of sauce. The salad came in a plastic bowl with no dressing, just a tiny bit of dressing on top. The taste was okay.

The best snack bar in Julianadorp/Den Helder. A wide selection at reasonable prices. Be sure to check the opening hours; weekday evenings are only open until 8:00 PM! What would a vacation in the Netherlands be without fries, frikandel, cheese soufflé, and bitterballen? Possible, but pointless. Highly recommended! We come regularly!

Just a snack, but delicious! The quality and price are right! Clean, tidy, everything is just right. When we arrive and before going inside, we eat first, and then during our vacations as well. We've been doing this for five years now...

A small snack bar with various small dishes. We had the special Frikandel with fries, which I wanted to try, and the Gypsy schnitzel with fries. The food wasn't that special, but the Frikandel was the best, with lots of plastic packaging and not very appealing...

Again and again! Super tasty. Prices are ok too. 2x French fries special and Frikandel special 12 euros. Staff always friendly. Furnishings are a bit older, but have charm.

I've never experienced anything less friendly. Put off by this, we didn't order at all on our last visit. The employee apparently had more important things to do anyway. But not so good on previous visits either. In our opinion, half the chicken was definitely for the trash can. Fried so badly, it could only be thrown in the trash.

Classic Dutch snack bar. Basically a chip shop, but in restaurant style and with an ice cream parlor. There are all the local classics. Everything from the Frikandel to the burger was very tasty. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. You have to wait because the Kaden is very busy.

I can't say anything about the food, the order never came. You come in. No hello nothing. You stand at the counter (cash register directly in front of you) and both ladies continue their departure undeterred. You wait so they can finish...Well after 15 minutes we left, everyone behind us was pissed too. Locals came in and were served straight away. We and many others left and will definitely not come back.

A nice clean snack bar with the tastiest Dutch specialties. We have been coming with the whole family for 10 years and are always satisfied.

Food was prepared quickly. The lady who served me wasn't exactly friendly. More annoyed. There wasn't that much going on at all. I took the food with me. The taste is really okay for the price. But mixed together very unlovingly. But completely sufficient for a snack.

We've been coming here to eat here on vacation for decades. The prices are still great and the food is freshly prepared and delicious. The service was very friendly to us, I can't understand the bad comments about this.

Only bad! Food, service, cleanliness.. Staff is outrageously unfriendly... I can only advise anyone not to stay here, we were here with three children who are normally happy with fries etc., not so here.. but it is more expensive... well, there's that catch

The entire meal comes from the freezer and is heated in the fat - it's amazing that even the shish kebab is defrosted in the microwave and then fried so we won't come by again

It's just part of it! Real Dutch fries shop, with the "specialties". Friendly staff, prices absolutely reasonable. After checking it several times, I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Super freundlich und leckeres Soft Eis

Holländischer Imbiss wie er im Lehrbuch steht. Leckere Pommes und Frikandel, sehr freundliches Personal.

Nur frittiertes Fastfood. Inhaberin spricht gut deutsch, war aber überfordert, da mehrere Gäste gleichzeitig kamen und sie, auch in der Küche, alleine war

Hervorragender Imbiss für echt hollandse Spezialitäten. Frikandel mit Special mit Zwiebeln, Mayo und Curryketchup - TOP. Wir waren mehrmals da, Preis stimmt auch absolut.

Na een lange reis besloten we lekker op het terras te eten, al snel bleek zelf halen,ik was niet de enige eindelijk aan de beurt,ik bestel een berehap pinda en een pikanto speciaal en ik krijg 2x een berehap, ik zeg dat dit niet goed is ik word afgesnauwd dat ik dat niet besteld heb, ze heeft het zelf opgeschreven, ik vraag me af of ze weet wat service is en hoe het geschreven wordt, ik druip af en eet mijn berehap met een kartonnen mes gesneden met tegenzin op. het vakantiegevoel is gelijk weg, gelukkig is de rest van de week de service elders beter

Der beste Imbiss für typisch holländisches Fastfood. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Bedienung ist super nett. Man bestellt und bekommt einen Pieper wenn das Essen fertig ist. Frikandel Spezial mit Pommes und danach ein leckeres Eis, perfekt wenn man von der Sightseeing Tour zurück kommt.

Ich kann eindeutig das Softeis hier empfehlen, besonders mit der Bueno Soße. Noch nie so ein leckeres Eis gegessen 😊 Das andere Essen war auch sehr lecker. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter und die Gegeng ist auch sehr schön!

Lecker und Preis-Leistung Super

Imbissbude!! Jeder der hier Qualität und Sterneburger erwartet ist hier falsch. Aber für einen Stopp mit Snacks ist das genau der richtige Laden :) Empfehlenswert:)

Wenn man eine Kleinigkeit essen möchte, kann man diese hier gut und preiswert bekommen

Sehr leckerer Imbiss. Große Portionen für kleines Geld. Nach einem Tag am Strand haben wir dort für unser Ferienhaus etwas mitgenommen, nach ca 10 Minuten warten war alles fertig.

Snack Bar mit den klassischen Holländischen Produkten. Kann man ganz gut essen.

Op advies van de eigenaresse van de camping kwamen wij eten afhalen bij deze snackbar. Er was genoeg ruimte om de fiets te stallen, naast een simpele speelplek voor jonge kinderen. In de snackbar werden we uiterst vriendelijk geholpen. En konden we kiezen uit een zeer uitgebreid assortiment. Het menu was heerlijk, de losse snacks waren heerlijk en de patat was eveneens verrukkelijk. En dat alles voor een nette prijs. Oftewel: deze snackbar is zeker een aanrader!

Op zich is dit geen slechte snackbar, de ligging is zelfs bijzonder te noemen. In de wijde omgeving is er bovendien geen enkel goed alternatief wanneer je van gefrituurd eten houdt. Vroeger, heéél lang geleden was ik er kind aan huis, in de snackbar. De reden dat ik nu nog leef heeft deels te maken met de kordate beslissing die ik ooit nam om mijn cholesterol´probleem´ maar eens serieus te gaan nemen, links en rechts om me heen vielen er mensen ´om´ vanwege dezelfde problematiek en dan wordt het moeilijk om het bestaan ervan te blijven ontkennen. Als jongere leef je eigenlijk voortdurend in ´reserve tijd´, de tijd die je nog wel denkt te hebben voordat je langzaam wordt gedwongen om de realiteit onder de ogen te zien. Zo eindig je dan uiteindelijk in dezelfde snackbar met een kopje koffie voor je neus op het werkelijk heerlijke, ruime terras terwijl je je er verbaast over ´de pondjes teveel´ die je om je heen hetzelfde etablissement in en weer uit ziet lopen. Slanke sportieve mensen fietsen voorbij zonder ook maar even met hun ogen te knipperen, is het een kwestie van; besef, opvoeding, vooringenomenheid, eigenwijsheid zoals die van mezelf? Ik kan er geen vinger op leggen. Toch kun je ter plaatse wel degelijk ook een aardig gezonde maaltijd samenstellen wanneer je dat wilt. Dus daarom 3 sterren, vooral vanwege de ligging, en het terras natuurlijk maar toch ook nog wel een beetje doordat iedereen een eigen verantwoordelijkheid draagt voor wat hij nu precies wél naar binnen wenst ´te schuiven´ en wat absoluut niet. Dat, die keuze vrijheid, is namelijk precies wat onze samenleving zo aangenaam maakt. Dat denk ik dan maar. Om mijn initiële weerstand te overwinnen, dat dan weer wel... Blijven werken aan jezelf Niehland, besef ik terwijl ik van mijn stoel op sta. Dat is belangrijk.

Die Snackbar No.1 im Bereich der Campingplätze und Bungalowparks. Sehr freundliches Personal, alles schmeckt super und immer lecker Softeis! Jeden Urlaub wieder!

Hier ist das Essen gut. Vor Allem die Pommes, mit frischem Öl zubereitet. Preise sind sehr gut.

Immer gerne für den Kleinen schnellen Hunger

Programm einer typischen, holländischen Snackbar. Und dazu noch sehr nettes und freundliches Personal, guter Service. Alles sieht sehr appetitlich und sauber aus. Schöne, windgeschützte Terrasse. Obwohl einige der angebotenen Speisen TK sind, wurde alles immer in Ruhe frittiert, bis es richtig durch und lecker war. Auch zum Mitnehmen in das eigene Ferienhaus eine sehr gute Alternative ( Pommestüte ). Eiskaltes Flaschbier - hat uns an einem der heißen Tage und nach der Ankunft die Lebensgeister wiedererweckt. Und es wird sehr viel in Papiertüten verpackt. Nicht mehr diese unnötigen Plastikschälchen. Weiter so. Tot ziens!!

Pommesbude, die es seit ewigen Zeiten gibt. Inhabergeführt und schon immer super Qualität und Sauberkeit. Bei jedem Besuch in der Gegend ein Muß.

Nach einem ausgiebigen Spaziergang durch die Dünen wollten wir schnell eine Kleinigkeit Snecken. Dafür ist die Snackbar Van Foreest recht gut geeignet. Man kann drinnen sowohl als auch draußen sitzen. Ich würde dort kein romantisches Dinner veranstalten, aber für Sneckis ist es ziemlich gut geeignet. Die Dame hinterm Tresen war über aus freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Räumlichkeiten sauber. Preis/ Leistung passt !!!
