I've been coming here for almost 20 years for the stew, which is a particularly delicious, seasoned meat. Now I'm back, I see a different face, and the patat stew has become a potato soup with meatballs. They might as well change the name, because they didn't sell hachee at Het Vliet.

Because of the high reviews, we ordered here for the family. The fries were okay. The snacks were good. The next day, everyone in the family had diarrhea. That wasn't fun. That's why we won't be back.

Incompetent old employee. He makes you pay for the wrong order, insists it's your fault, laughs at you, and walks away mid-conversation. He complains loudly to customers about his boss, his salary, the lack of benefits in the hospitality industry, and his pension. I always enjoy coming here, and the other employees are always friendly and pleasant, but this isn't right.

Since time immemorial, this has been the place to satisfy your snack cravings. The selection is enormous, and the prices are great.

Always cozy and delicious warm meat sandwiches and cheese croquettes.

As a true Liwwadder, I've been coming here my whole life. Super great snack buffet with a huge selection.

The only one with decent fries and stew. They don't write down orders. They remember everything

They charge me for a gyros,drink and 2 sauces 19 euros and the food was terrible aswell

The people who work there are really friendly. The food is okay. Today, however, it was a real letdown when I was charged €6.90 for a rather small portion of peanut fries. Such a shame. Because of this experience, I'll be getting my fries from their competitor from now on. A bag for three people costs €7 there.

Old-fashioned cafeteria where you can have a nice chat. Hot meat sandwiches are top 5/5 croquettes 2/5 snacks 2/5 fries 4/5 there was quite a long line and it took about 15 minutes before it was your turn... that should be possible differently. In addition, the snacks were fried for too long.

My and my husband's special hamburger sandwich was pink on the inside and the meat was also very soft because it was not yet properly cooked... My bami disk also fell apart, it was very soft and wet. Unfortunately had a few bites of both, probed for the food and the money. Called why this is their way of preparing food, but was not answered. Never again ba.

A beacon in the city for years. Where people are central

We went here for dinner unannounced with 10 people on a busy Friday evening. We were helped well, it was ready quickly and it tasted delicious! Really great.

I've taken wet poops that were bigger than these guys' frikandels. Speaking of.. this is the only place I've ever eaten at that made me sick - and my stomach takes re-heated chinese food like a champ! Food was alright though, albeit nothing special. TL;DR: Don't play the food poisoning lottery and just go somewhere else. They do sell ciggies though. 3/10 food 10/10 tobacco (they stopped selling tobacco, haha)

Lots of choice, excellent service

One of the well-known snack bars in Leeuwarden, where I put my feet in the door 45 years ago. Then with Jurjen Braaksma behind the counter, who worked in the butcher's shop next door during the day and provided the goers with a snack at night. The butcher's shop has disappeared, the interior of the snack bar has remained almost the same. Just like then, the full display case is still present, so the choice is huge. A good eatery where I still like to go, not every week like I used to, but still like to go.

Hugely versatile range of snacks. The homemade croquette is an absolute must, with the regular offer 'get four, pay for three'. Once you've eaten those, you'll never have to eat the junk from American fast food chains again.

I work for the local chapter of Pitt World Records. I looked for the largest frikandel I could find, and I can tell you that Snackbuffet Het Vliet has the largest with flying colors.

Great choice of food the chicken it's deliciously fried you get a ton of fries for what you pay I think that's great but the overall prices are little high. But it worth it

Kom er al best wel een tijdje. Eten is altijd goed, en de sfeer is top daar.

Service and staff is amazing and friendly! All snacks are nice with a large selection. Just don't try the kroketten, they are disappointing. The meatball however is the best( better than any other snackbar I ever been to )!

Super große Auswahl und nachts offen 👌

Sinds jaar en dag de beste snackbar van Leeuwarden. Met een hele grote keuze in veelal eigengemaakte snacks. De medewerkers zijn gezellig gestoord, maar dat maakt het juist zo leuk.

In 't verleden/normaliter eigenlijk geen problemen 😋👌🏼, op soms iets kleins vergeten na. Helaas dan toch eens een misser..🥲 De patat rook lekker, voelde warm aan en was warm maar (+/- 10 min later) bij thuiskomst helaas zien, voelen en proeven dat de patat compleet slap geel wittig is/was.. Alsof 't maar heel even in 't frituurvet was geweest.. Was een gigantische teleurstelling! 😔 Wij hadden behoorlijke "trek" en dit was de enigste in de buurt die nog open was & enigszins op loopbare afstand.. 😬🙈 Wij vinden 't eigenlijk te absurd voor woorden dat we voor een "grote patat oorlog" €7,40 betaalden (die eigenlijk nog niet eens klaar was). In de toekomst bestellen we hier misschien wel weer es, maar voorlopig houden we 't even voor gezien. 🙂 (review is van 4 mei)

Prima cafetaria erg tevreden over de kwaliteit,,leuke mensen en een enorme keus ..en het mooie is ze maken veel zelf .en dat voor een normale prijs .. huzarensalade is aan te bevelen....

Mag wel wat aankleding krijgen en verder top

Net een lekkere salade voor oud en nieuw gehaald

Bakje patat redelijke prijs, echter stuk minder dan voorheen. Persoonlijk betaal ik liever 'n euro extra voor wat meer patat in m'n bakje zodat ik dan zonder hongergevoel weer naar huis ga.. Voorlopig ga ik hier niet meer naartoe.

Leuke snackbar met ontzettend veel assortiment in de vitrine. Bijna altijd open ook later op de avond. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en we komen regelmatig hier naartoe na onze activiteit en hebben daarna zin in een lekkere hap
