We are from Amersfoort and had received a tip to try the spareribs here. We absolutely did not regret it. The spareribs were truly fantastic, without a doubt the best I have ever eaten. Perfect in flavor and deliciously tender. The only downside was the service. The staff came across as somewhat uninterested and didn't seem to enjoy their work very much. It's a shame, because the quality of the food actually deserves a more welcoming experience. The owner is a very nice guy! I would definitely come back for the spareribs. They are highly recommended!

Last Saturday (February 28, 2026) we ate and drank with four people, but... There was no pleasant atmosphere... Instead of eating at the same time, we were served separately, with long intervals. The food was nothing to write home about (and that in Huizen 🤔). For example, the shawarma wasn't cooked through, the person who had eaten it had stomach problems and left it, yet she still had to pay for it (ridiculous)... Also, the peanut sauce with the satay was old and looked cremated. The spicy sauce was rancid, tasted of old frying oil, as did the fries. Drinks were simply dumped on the table without asking if we wanted a glass with it. However, a lovely young lady did politely ask us a little later if we wanted a glass. The older woman was a real Kenyan, Ugandan, and Tanzanian, a terrible pushover with no interest in interacting with customers. In any case, we will never come back to this depressing place, what a waste to spend your money there.

The peanut sauce is too spicy, and if you order regular spare ribs, the plain ones, they're also too spicy and inedible if you can't handle spicy food. A waste of money. From sour mayonnaise to overly spicy satay sauce to unwashed hands of the staff, this is something they could work on and positively address in their annual review, given that the monthly review is a mess and customers expect quality. The outdated messages on their wall about the friendliest cafeteria date back at least twelve years and are outdated. The prices are also shockingly high and often double what other cafeterias charge for their products. If the quality were worth the price, it would be worth it, but it isn't. I hope they address this. I won't eat here again until I see that they've actually taken action on their hygiene.

We were seated at a table and would have still been there if I hadn't gotten up at some point to say we wanted something to eat. Someone finally asked what we wanted to drink, but the cans were put on the table and no glass was brought. Then the menus arrived and we were told the prices were incorrect. We placed our orders, and eventually, three of the four dishes were served, and just as we were almost finished, dish number 4 arrived. Conclusion: if we want to eat the delicious dishes, we'll make it, but we won't be eating there again.
