5 x 1 star is still 5 stars! Rick, Marijke, Carl, Sam, Bo, and the staff always make sure it's a great evening! Always fun, cozy, and good food (and drinks)! The socializing with other guests makes it feel homely and gives it that little bit extra. Highly recommended for Gorinchem residents and everyone from outside!

Bijzonder gastvrij ontvangen. Dat viel ons als eerste op. Kaart is precies goed qua keuze. Dat kan ook niet anders als je zoals dit restaurant alles vers maakt. Begonnen met een heerlijke antipasta plankje. Lekker kaasjes en heerlijk vleeswaar. Samen met een dipje en niet onbelangrijk, vers brood. De pasta met mango en garnalen was verrukkelijk evenals de ravioli. Samen met een mooie wijn hebben we heerlijk gezeten. Ook de tijd tussen de gangen was perfect, niet te gehaast en niet te lang, complimenten aan de kok maar vooral aan het zeer vriendelijke personeel. Als we weer een nachtje in Gorinchem zijn komen we zeker terug naar dit pareltje

Goede wijnen, erg vriendelijk personeel, hondvriendeijk. Erg lekker eten. Simpel, puur, maar lekker. Hoofdgerecht kan erg lang duren. Maar desondanks een goed zaakje om lekker uit eten te gaan. Vriendelijk prijzen ook. En dat alleen is tegenwoordig al een pluspunt.

Heerlijk gegeten en gedronken. De bediening was top, super gastvrij. Voor ons de eerste keer maar we komen zeker terug.

Heerlijk gegeten, lekkere wijnkaart. Het was, zoals meestal, volgeboekt. Gelukkig was er een tafeltje voor twee beschikbaar. Pasta was zalig, we hadden pasta Parma en glutenvrij was mogelijk gelukkig. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en de bediening was erg vriendelijk. Gezellig restaurant met een goede formule, een aanrader.

On December 14, 2024 my husband and I once again had a delicious meal at Snoek en Snoek. Everything was fine, the service was good, the atmosphere was good and the food was delicious. We both took the monthly special, which was prepared and served at the table in a cheese wheel. The staff is friendly and understands how to please your guests. Snoek en Snoek is highly recommended for anyone who loves pasta and wine.

After a pretty sporty day, we wanted to have a quick bite to eat. No idea where we could go in Gorinchem, but found this Italian restaurant via Google maps, and what a great find it turned out to be! Here they still know what hospitality means, the conviviality that we experienced and of course not unimportant, the super tasty food with the delicious wine, which we were able to taste first, as it should be. We are very happy that we were still able to muster up the energy to eat somewhere, otherwise we would have missed this Pearl, we give Snoek and Snoek a big 10! Both gastronomic and service.

Nice and cozy restaurant, warm and friendly staff, but the food was very disappointing. My friends and I all had a different pasta: my Spicy Vodka did not contain a chili flake and therefore lacked flavor, the goat cheese ravioli was soaked in honey and the pasta vongole was extremely spicy, while we are used to something. I also didn't think the canned peaches that were in both a starter and a main course were appropriate for a restaurant with such good reviews. It was also a disappointment when I ordered a delicious (new type of wine for me) and wanted a 2nd glass but it was already gone... on a Friday evening at 7 pm.

De lekkerste en leukste eet-ervaring tijdens ons 2-daagse fietstrip in Gorinchem. Als Belgisch stel op zoek naar iets lekkers en gevonden bij dit sublieme restaurantje, niet groot. De gastvrouw was een zeer lieve dame net zoals al de andere mensen in de zaak. Enorm fijne verzorgde smakelijke gerechten hebben we gekregen. Onze pasta vongolé en ravioli met geitenkaas hebben we gewoon tussen ons in gezet en ‘lady en de vagebond’gewijs opgegeten Mmmmm! Ook het rosé wijntje was top zalig! En als afsluiter een overheerlijke tiramisu gegeten op een originele manier geserveerd met een topkoffie. Ik heb nog eventjes met mijn vinger de binnenkant van het glaasje proper gemaakt. Een topervaring in dit kleine restaurantje achter de kerk.

We zagen op TripAdvisor goede recensies en besloten om de proef op de som te nemen. Het restaurant was nog niet open maar we werden uitgenodigd om binnen te komen om alvast iets te drinken. Vervolgens heerlijk gegeten. De sfeer is goed, het personeel gastvrij en vriendelijk. Een absolute aanrader dus! Wij komen zeker terug.

Wat een geweldige eetgelegenheid. We hebben er heerlijk gegeten en de bediening was alleraardigst. Ze liet ons zelfs meerdere wijnen proeven om een lekkere te kiezen. Limoncello aan het eind was ook een eigen toegift. Prijs kwaliteit echt top.

We ended up in this restaurant by chance (we were at the wrong Hugo gate) and the owner pointed it out to us (thanks). Pasta and wine is a great combination anyway and luckily there was a table available. Jokingly said; I can have two half pastas, because I can't choose.... and then a little later you are sitting with 2 plates of fantastic food in front of you. The spaghetti Aglio was perfect! Super tasty, the flavors perfectly balanced. With the linguine I thought the passata was a bit too present, so I didn't taste any capers or olives. Nevertheless, it tastes great. Top wine with it (which you can taste first before they fill a glass and put it down indiscriminately). My table companion's Gnocchi was exactly as it should be. No overpowering truffle. Atmosphere is super cozy. It smells incredibly good! If you're not hungry yet, you will be. The service is super friendly and takes the time for you, even when it's busy. Terrace available. Toilets clean and tidy. Too bad I don't live nearby, but if I'm in the area again I will definitely have a bite to eat there again! For the lady who had such a nice chat with us; kudos! Overheerlijk gegeten voor een niet te dure prijs. Echt heerlijk eten, zeker een aanrader

Excellent wines and hospitality. Unfortunately the dishes we ordered and received were not up to par. The pasta was overcooked (holding pans too hot?) which for a 'pasta' restaurant is quite a blunder. My dish, a Parma-ham/peas/cream dish had a distinguishable odor of an abundance of slightly charred ham (Parma-ham requires delicate care when cooking) and overall the taste was a somewhat flat but certainly not bad. The other dish served, pasta carbonara, tasted fine yet the smooth silky sauce was interrupted with solidified egg yoke, something which does not belong in a carbonara. The dessert was a limoncello tiramisu with insect eaten mintleaves on top. The tiramisu, apart from the decoration, was excellent, so where the wines and as mentioned at the start, the hospitality. Would I recommend this place? The price- quality was a bit 'unsettling' although a discount for my request of half a portion, was given. A nice gesture since it was done without my request. Back to my question: A cheerful 'yes' when enjoying just a glass of wine on their terrace. A frank 'no', for the food unless they'll improve themselves on the given critique. I wish them well and hope they will do better in future.

Fantastisch leuke avond gehad met ons gezin (2 kinderen van 3jr). De bediening maakt de avond, enorm enthousiast, zeer gastvrij en ruimdenkend als het gaat om jonge kinderen. Lang geleden dat ik me ergens zo welkom en 'te gast' gevoeld heb. Geen standaard vriendelijk riedeltje (dat is op sommige plaatsen al een uitdaging) maar échte oprechte aandacht, net even dat extra praatje of uitleg en niets is teveel gevraagd. Klein puntje voor ons persoonlijk, is dat er echt alleen maar pasta als hoofdgerecht geserveerd wordt. Dat wisten we vantevoren en is natuurlijk het concept van deze mooie zaak. De pasta's waren ook echt heerlijk maar ik ben er geen mega fan van als ik uit eten ga. We komen zeker nog een keer terug en dan komen we gezellig borrelen of bestel ik gewoon lekker 2 voorgerechten 😉

We belden laat op de avond, waren meer dan welkom. De tafel van buiten kon zo worden omgezet naar een tafel binnen, daar hebben wij heerlijk gegeten en gebot van de gastvrijheid! Aanrader!!

Nu drie keer bij Snoek&Snoek geweest en drie keer wat anders besteld. De pasta van de maand is vaak echt verrassend en de wijnen zijn top. Je zit wat dicht op elkaar, maar dat mag de pret niet drukken en heeft ook wel een huiselijke sfeer. Pluspunt voor de open keuken!

Lekker gegeten! De nacho's waren heerlijk en wordt goed rekening gehouden met allergenen.
