Cozy little café. The cappuccino was very good and the owner is very nice.

We stopped by chance and we don't regret it. Very friendly and pleasant staff, and the food is excellent. Unbeatable value for money

SOCOCO: Coffee with a Conscience, Impact in Every Cup This morning, I passed by my favorite Chai latte place in Rotterdam! I ordered a Chai and got into a conversation with Angela. She asked me if I wanted a "Dirty Chai," which means a shot of espresso in a Chai Latte. I responded, "I don't drink coffee, but thanks for the recommendation." What I didn’t know is that SOCOCO is a specialty coffee shop. Angela kindly gave me some insights about the company, their coffee, and their fair trade collaborations with coffee farmers in Guatemala and Uganda. Every bean they use is hand-picked and meticulously inspected, which is probably why their coffee scores an incredible 86+ on the SCA scale. But it’s not just about the taste—SOCOCO deeply cares about fairness. Over half of what you pay stays in the country where the coffee is grown, helping farmers improve their businesses and invest in better processes. That’s coffee with a conscience. If you love coffee and care about making a positive impact, SOCOCO is the way to go. Honestly, although I don’t drink coffee, i love their philosophy and highly recommend them.

Delicious espresso for a great price. At the neighbors they serve filter coffee for an exorbitant price. The only point of criticism is that payment can only be made by debit card. Furthermore, highly recommended. See the photo of the price list.

Delicious specialty coffee and great service!!!

While the espresso base itself was good, the steamed milk that I received with my flat white had the same quality and texture as what you get using a cheap electric milk foamer (see photo)… which is surprising since they do have a proper espresso machine with an industrial steam wand. The milk was too hot, and there was too much air pulled in which also wasn’t incorporated enough. If the baristas work on their milk foaming technique, this could easily become the best specialty coffee place in the area. I might decide to give this place another try eventually :) other than that, great service.

Despite no SKAL certificate, the coffee beans are not sprayed with pesticides and are 100% organically grown! How nice!

The coffee and chilled atmosphere is worth the walk. Coffee taste really good and staff are super friendly. The atmosphere is supper chilled Double expreso was only €3 and it's dog friendly

Great, delicious coffee! Friendly staff. I bought two real jute bags from them for coffee beans! =) Now they hang on my wall and remind me of a little adventure. I recommend it to connoisseurs of delicious coffee.

Leuke zaak en schappelijke prijzen! Gelegen in een rustige buurt, maar toch is er van alles bereikbaar binnen loopafstand (OV, woonboulevard, supermarkt etc.). Een erg vriendelijke dame praatte mij bij over de achtergrond van deze sociale onderneming.
