Soups & Salads in Binnenstad-Noord

Since the new location, the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly.

The order still coming with 20 minutes delay. The staff do not check the status and do not explain where is the order. Service is very poor

Tasty, fresh, well-filled sandwiches, and the homemade carrot cake is also highly recommended.

Highly recommended! Tasty and healthy food

I'm studying abroad for the summer and i don't think I've felt more welcomed in a restaurant than here. The girls were so kind and helpful. You can get a good smoothie food for a good student price. I never write google review but i had to for this one. Thank you!

They used to be good, but unfortunately the portions are getting smaller and now the poke bowls are also of extremely poor quality. There was an extreme amount of sauce, the tuna was of poor quality, and there was very little rice, and the rice that was there was soaked in sauce. It's a shame because I used to think their soups and poke bowls were very good.

Visited for the first time for a pokebowl and some drinks. The pokebowl was good, with a very tasty piece of banana cake on the side, and the staff was very polite. Because of the heat, we sat on the terrace. This was very pleasant under the parasol. I would definitely come back here a few more times to try the rest of the menu.

The soup is bland. You get a wooden spoon that you can't even drink soup with. It was served cold. Waited quite a long time for simple food.

Super cute and small store! Love the colors that were used and the decor, turning the small store into a very cozy place. We went to try it out because of the SocialDeal offer for a bowl, drink and a dessert. We both got the gado gado bowl and the carrot cake. For both different and interesting is the right word! It’s different than you’d expect even based on the description, but that’s definitely a positive thing! The gado gado had a nice dressing like sauce. The carrot cake had orange and pistachio added to it; super refreshing take on a standard carrot cake. Matches the season well. The girl behind the counter was lovely and helpful in both English and Dutch. We’d definitely go back here again. One detail I’d like to mention that in Apple Maps I still get recommended the old address at Lange Mare first, which is confusing. We went there first because of it, but ended up at the right location after checking the deal. Might be worth it looking into having that changed!

Everything is freshly made and you can taste it. Great to have a healthy takeaway option close to the station and city center.

Always good soup, salads en sandwiches. I love there food. Always warm soup, everything is very tasteful and so fresh and good ingredients. I love you can order something healthy without having to cook. And delivery is always friendly. Happy customer from the beginning!

Friendly service while ordering. The slogan is that they get the dishes ready quickly..... waited 25 minutes for 2 sandwiches and then got the wrong ones, then waited another 15 minutes. It just wasn't quite right. Very disappointing, the sandwich did taste good in the end. But the ordeal was already a bit.....

Small portions for a hefty price. The food is tasty, but that is becoming less and less the case. I find it a shame. The staff could also be a bit friendlier; I often come here to get my sandwiches and salads. When I asked if I could wash my hands before eating my sandwiches, they very arrogantly said that it wasn't allowed. Which I find bizarre for a hospitality establishment; I was taught to always wash my hands before eating and was also open to paying extra. Hopefully, it will go back to how it used to be, because this used to be a top spot.

We had a great sandwich lunch. Plenty of fillings and delicious. Friendly service. It was lovely outside in the sun.

Eating here used to be a treat, but in recent months, the portions have been getting smaller. Chili con carne has suddenly become half rice, and an endive mash is just mashed potatoes with three green strings. Such a shame!

The bowl was okay, but unfortunately the beans were still frozen. There are only two sizes available. We had the medium bowl. The portion was very small, and the price was very high at €38 for two bowls and two bottles of water. It's a shame, because otherwise the place seems good. The price/performance ratio isn't right.

The food and drinks were delicious. We had the gado-gado and raman bowl. I personally thought the gado-gado was a bit small for €12.50; it could have been a bit more. I highly recommend the banana iced coffee.

It was very tasty, everything was fresh -friendly staff -eating with such small wooden cutlery isn't fun

I've tried several different types and flavors of soup, and they're all delicious! Friendly and professional staff, and it's a great place to be. Keep up the good work!

Soups & Salads looks great at the new location (apart from the strange entrance). However, the sandwiches are smaller and more expensive. They also now ask for a tip, which I'm not a fan of (leave that in America). It's a shame, but still 3 stars for the good food.

Unfortunately, something went wrong with the dressing for the chicken salad with red pesto during the move. It used to be my favorite salad, sometimes even twice a week, but now it's so sour that I won't even eat the rest. Such a shame.

Went to the new location at Beestenmarkt 14 and picked up 2 sandwiches with meatballs and one with smoked salmon & avocado ! The pumpkin soup is out of this world! Absolutely recommend !!

Used to come here a lot . Apparently they moved to another location. Neglected to update the information on Google. I waisted my time going there - rather disrespectful to your consumers.

I first visited this place around 10 years ago, and ever since, whenever I’m in Leiden, I try to stop by for a delicious bowl of soup or a sandwich. The quality is always great, and the service is friendly.

Thank you for the delicious soup and sandwiches (including vegetarian options) at the meeting of the South Zholland Province's Atlantic Wall Heritage Table at the Bunker Leiden Foundation, Morsweg 55e. Many compliments from those in attendance.

Lovely, you really have to stop by!

Delicious concept! Addicted to their baguettes 🥖

Lunch tip! Here they always have delicious soups and the menu changes quite often. And their sandwiches are always tasty (and well filled) ✨ I forgot my lunch as usual, so I got a delicious harira soup and a chicken sandwich with avocado 💚

Delicious soup and nice people in this shop

Best soup in town. Loving the peanutsoup!!!🥜

My favorite place in Leiden for years!

Incredible hidden gem! A must visit in Leiden! We cycles into the city centre it was really busy, being freshers week at the University, but this was a great little find! I would recommend this to anyone visiting Leiden, healthy, welcoming, tasty and great value!! Thanks so much

The best place where to have a healthy and tasty meal while enjoying the very center of Leiden. Tons of choices, I particularly recommend the Gado Gado Poke Bowl 😌

An excellent little to-go restaurant, healthy and fresh cuisine, you can already smell the inviting smells in front of the shop. The chefs know their craft and you can watch them cook. The lady is very friendly.

Ramen Soupes are the reason why we travel from Germany

The poke bowl was small in size; for 15 euros you would expect a full meal. Quite good in terms of taste, but the price-quality means that I will not come back.

Great place for a quick takeaway lunch! I tried their carpaccio sandwich which was tasty, although some of the added vegetables did not fit well within the sandwich. As the name implies they also sell 'Soups & Salads' which also seem quite nice!

More places for sitting would be great. Otherwise awesome. It's also possible to taste soups before placing an order.

Soup was so delicious. It's a bit spicy, but tasty. Prizes are nice! So convenient that you can add extra topping! My warmest recommendation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a kind and accomodating staff. Our poke bowl and ramen bowl were both fresh and tasty!

Good food, clean place and kitchen, well organized, honest business, employees treated very very nicely. Such a good and solid restaurant, and the food is always really good

The salad had several ingredients, which tasted anything but fresh. When ordering, 3 different costs will be added, totaling € 3.05. I think this is slowly going too far. The delivery person was very friendly and on time.

great place. healthy and tasty food

Delicious peanut soup. The chili is also very tasty.

Heerlijke ballen, broodjes en fijne pokebowl met vis , to go !

Altijd heerlijke salades en soepen en snel geleverd. Aanrader

Kom regelmatig hier mijn poke bowls halen.

I always buy from soups and salads if I want a healthy& balanced meal. Ingredients are always super fresh and tasty. Definitely the healthiest place in Leiden. And the workers are always kind and friendly. 10/10

Delicious food, that’s always fresh, and uniquely healthy. Which also happens to be served, by the friendliest staff ever.

Mega lekkere salades, veel variaties mogelijk, alles vers en eerlijk bereid. Sympathiek familiebedrijf.

delicious soups and salads, will try it again !

feine frische linsensuppe mit frischem brot, freundliches personal, empfehlenswert!

Delicious. The food was spot on and tasty. I ordered two salads and they were great and well priced. Felt like the ingredients were well prepared and top quality. I will be going back to try a sandwich which also looked amazing! Highly recommend!

Lekkere gerechten. Kwaliteit is goed

I get my soups and smoothies from Soups & Salads and it’s always amazing quality. Their peanut soup is my favorite and so is their green smoothie with a bit of ginger. They are always friendly and the service is always good.

Favorite place to get a proper soup and a dope juice!RAFAELA is cooking delicious stuff, well done!

Best soup and poke bowl in town

Soups and salads bied de oplossing. Snelle service, prijs kwaliteit is top. Heerlijk gegeten!

Aanrader!

Lekker eten, vult! Lekkere cilli con carne, vult juiste prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Broodje lekker knapperig met lekkere spread.

Lekkerste winkel in Leiden. Misschien wel de leukste winkel van Nederland

Great little soup shop with a bevy of delicious soups and sandwiches.

I ordered a Chicken Soup and a Squash Salad from deliveroo and I have to say, that has been the best meal since I got in Leiden! The soup was delicious, comforting and not too salty as some soups are, the broth was balanced and rich. The salad I ordered was full of fresh greens and roasted squash, pepper, aubergine and zucchini, I especially appreciated the little container for the dressing, which I always prefer to dose on my own! I will definitely order again in the future.
