Oh, thoroughly enjoyed it and had a delicious meal.

Restaurant was empty, I think they deliver a lot. No atmosphere. The lady was strict. Had to pay before hand while other customers had to pay afterwards. Whisky very expensive. Fried white rice was hard and old, she gave me another plate but I just spit it out. They added pork sausage on the side? Like that's not fried rice. One egg on the side like I had to throw up. I was doing a citytrip and this is what I get. These people don't know what they're doing. She brought me na other plate but I ask for a whisky and she said no! I'm like why do I want another plate of hard rice. Old rice? Very disappointed. I went to Deventer and I had the best experience in a restaurant called Bangkok Thais restaurant. Look at the difference in experience. Also the rose in Deventer was much more than that poor whisky I paid almost €10 euros for. Waste of money. People go to Deventer. I even offered a drink to the staff because I has such a nice experience.

Exactly enough and I'm not a small eater, would go again in a heartbeat, and so it was.

A contemporary, modern, atmospheric restaurant with excellent food.

My experience at Sozing restaurant was unfortunately anything but positive. When I walked in, I immediately noticed the lack of atmosphere and the lack of engagement from the staff. We waited for a while before anyone even noticed us, even though the restaurant wasn't even busy. When we were finally able to order, the food took an extremely long time to arrive. We received no explanation, no apology, nothing at all. When the food finally arrived, it was disappointing: lukewarm, bland, and clearly not freshly prepared. It felt like everything had been quickly reheated instead of properly cooked. For the prices they charge, you'd expect much better. Furthermore, the service was truly subpar. Questions were answered curtly, and if we needed anything, we had to try several times to get someone's attention. It felt like we were bothering them. All in all, it was a bad experience. The combination of poor service, long wait times, high prices, and mediocre food means I won't be returning. Therefore, I definitely don't recommend Sozing.

The food was fine, but nothing special. The duck dish was full of tendons and hard bits. The Tie Pang (I think it's not pang, but pan) creates a lot of smoke in the restaurant, and because of the poor or inadequate ventilation, all your clothes smell like food. If I had known earlier that this was a social deal restaurant, I would have eaten somewhere else. If you appreciate very fast service, this is the place to be. Everything is served very quickly and is cleared away very quickly.

My coke was watered down and there was a bone in my vegetarian tjap tjoy.

Dinner at Sozing restaurant. Shared dining for two, ordered through Social Daels. Salad and mini rolls as a starter, followed by this platter for two. Generous and very tasty. Friendly service, neat restaurant, clean restrooms.

We’re ordering in Sozing every now and than, mostly Babi pangang. Never expecting miracles or authentic Asian cuisine, food is quickly delivered and portions are generous. This time I thought of something fresh and went for gado gado and it was the worst I ever had-mainly tauge, few slimy pieces that maybe were tofu (?) and few green beans drowned in terrible, watery peanut like sauce. Didn’t have high expectations but that was just a bit too much, if you’re running a serious business you shouldn’t be offering stuff like that. I don’t think we’re ordering there soon and if, we’ll just stick to Babi pangang.

Had dinner here several weeks ago with some friends and found our experience to be okay. We ordered the following numbers: 7. Wan tan soep 208. Chinees Indische rijsttafel 2pers. 63. Hou yue nioy youk All the dishes were of normal/good quality, yet (understandably) caucasianized. They all had plenty of flavour, good sizing to the portions and came with either rice/nasi or bami. It is an Chinese-Indonesian restaurant and flavourwise also quite fused in some dishes. I found the fried food entre that came rijsttafel a bit too much "fried", but that probably differs per person. The stewed beef dish was very beautifully seasoned with some pieces being very tender and some a little dry. The chicken dish was tender and the sweet egg dish was of regular quality as well. Service was kind, the food took around 25min to come out and the restaurant looked neat. I'd say one of the better Asian restaurants in The Netherlands, but not up to par to the real Asian food you can get in Asia, Australia or NZ. We did enjoy our time here and would recommend the restaurant.

In the context of a team day with a large group of colleagues, the day ended with a buffet. No high-quality buffet with tasteful specialties but with average dishes. Good service by two ladies.

Had a great meal, ordered a Chinese-Indonesian rice table for two people; delicious dishes and more than enough. Friendly hostess/waitress, good service. Cozy and romantic atmosphere with flowers and beautiful lighting. Definitely recommended if you want to eat well in Zwolle. Parking is easy across the street (a small parking garage).

Very doable, we had social deal then you get what is on offer, we were not asked if you like everything. We got duck with it, that was returned unused, we really don't like that.

The food was tasty but I had to wait quite a while for my ordered food. There was also a lot of food coming out of the kitchen before my turn, so it was probably something temporary.

Hadden familiefeestje thuis en Sozing bezorgde een fantastisch buffet. Het was heerlijk, meer dan genoeg, uitgebreid en keurig verzorgd. Zelfs met allergieën werd rekening gehouden.

1maandmenu voor 2 pers. en 1 X voor 3. Pers. besteld. Miste de specifieke Chinese smaak. Alsof alles met eenzelfde saus overgoten is. Alles gemiddeld dus!

Ik heb vanavond eten besteld bij Sozing. Het eten was erg flauw, alsof er totaal geen zout/specerijen zijn gebruikt. Telefonisch doorgegeven en de enige reactie was dat ze het zou doorgegeven aan de kok. Niets om het goed te maken. Laatste keer dat ik hier eten bestel.

Picked up a takeaway meal. Not tasty and far too little for the price asked. Just get it elsewhere for now. Shame.

The same monthly menu has been almost unchanged for years, but always delicious. Perfect to choose for 2, 3, 4 or more people and free choice to choose rice, noodles, nasi or noodles at an additional cost. Good price-quality ratio.

The food was good. The atmosphere is fine. However, the staff is unfriendly and rushed. It seems like they can't handle the amount of customers.

Ok last time at Christmas last yearngingnik today with that in mind I went there again to get food for 50 euros for 2 people for the whole weekend, I clearly ask if I want peanut sauce with the fried banana. Unfortunately no peanut sauce And calling to agree together is impossible, so do not call, but checkout is so wrong, we order from them almost monthly, then everything goes well, but collection is highly inadvisable. - 1⭐

Ordered catering for 40 people last weekend. There were about 45 of us, and there was still so much food left! The food was great! Warm, tasty and not salty. Everyone thought it was fantastic. To be repeated. I had some adjustments and they listened carefully and adjusted the menu accordingly. Communication via email was a bit poor, I would have liked more confirmation. But otherwise great!

Picked up, the quality is excellent. In my opinion the best Chinese in Zwolle. A wonderfully nostalgic restaurant with everything you expect in a Chinese restaurant.

I can't judge the atmosphere because it has been takeaway for years, but the food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. I'd rather cycle here than have someone else deliver.

Was a bit disappointing in terms of food and service, although staff worked very hard. Very busy with carnival guests. I had a buffet of standard Chinese stuff for less than 2 euros. Went well. But my wife, a vegetarian, had difficulty getting rid of a portion of mini spring roll that was not tasty after a long wait. Went out the door hungry.

Very tasty food, actual art that portrays the tasty Chinese cuisine. The food arrived very late and the delivery person was very unfriendly, when I asked him why it took so long he mumbled something in Chinese and shouted ‏حيوان. Bad service but incredibly tasty food!

Ended up at Sozing through Social Deal. Immediately welcomed upon arrival by a super customer-friendly lady. The restaurant had a cozy Chinese atmosphere, but not as you know it from the 90s, but really in a 2023 guise. Delicious meal, more than enough for 2 people. Prices for drinks are also very reasonable these days.

On Saturday I had dinner here with my parents-in-law. We got there at 6 o'clock and were able to order drinks straight away and food shortly afterwards. At half past eight the food finally arrived on the table. We asked once if it was still coming. The food was fine, we were hungry by now 😉. One of us wanted dessert. The rest just coffee. Dessert was also forgotten and had to be requested extra. We got the impression that it was too busy for the staff. 3 ladies walked around, but food could also be picked up and home deliveries were made. Maybe a bit too much of a good thing.

Spring roll was black, limp and bitter, very dirty. Nasi was okay, but the rest was inedible. Once and never again.

Dit keer gebruik gemaakt van de catering voor 15 personen, thuis bezorgd. Bij het bestellen werden we vriendelijk ontvangen en konden daar onze wensen doorgeven en wijzigen. De eten werd op de afgesproken tijd bezorgd en en netjes neergezet. Het zag er goed uit en het was ook superlekker. Alle gasten hebben genoten. Na het eten Sozing opgebeld dat we klaar waren en met 20 minuten stonden ze er weer om alles op te halen. Netjes hoor.........en heel erg lekker.....van ons krijgen ze een 10!

We had a bit of a cheap menu, delicious though, but not what I expected. Service was awesome and very friendly staff! We were a bit in a hier and they still served us very well. The main course was oké. But the starter was a bit lesser quality, more how I would expect it in a student home. We did use a voucher. The food at other tables looked way better! So keep that in mind regarding this review, it’s based on a single experience using a voucher.

I have now eaten at Sozing twice and was very pleased with the Indian rice table, the Chinese rice table and all the teppanyaki dishes. I received a slightly salty satay ayam once, but this was an unfortunate mistake by the chef. Added 2x salt instead of sugar. The lovely lady at the counter was honest about this. Of course something like that can happen, we are all human ;) Service is attentive and always friendly. To me it feels somewhat like coming home, always welcomed with open arms and good food. Top!

There was a sharp bone splinter in the chicken fillet. Indicated twice. I apologize with a smile, but I actually expected some compensation. Shame!

Pick up far below arrow 40 euros but was with 2 people, 1 child of 2, finished in 1 day and we are not big eaters, wanted to eat Chinese food for Christmas, which can normally be eaten for days with 2 people. 1 person benefit menus was not possible from a 2x monthly menu. once and a half day and a half of being eaten... and a little bit of what was left 1 day later already had a taste that was not supposed to be... old dishes were thrown into fresh dishes. Don't go Once I received bami pangang sauce as Chinese tomato soup, so you only find out at home.

Ate via social deal. It was nice that an adjustment to the menu was possible. Delicious food. Babi pangang was also nice and tender. Recommended!

A special experience to say the least. First of all, it took almost 2 hours for the food to be on the table. While we were one of the first in. Secondly, some of the food was lukewarm when served. Even though the ladies really try their best, the service is very poor. Half orders are delivered. Every time something was delivered, they apologized every time, which shows that they realized that things were not happening very quickly. And the reaction after finding a metal wire (5 cm) made the special evening complete. She was so relieved that I had found it and she could tell me that it came from the bean sprouts. So I suggest that if you eat here from now on, you take a mini metal detector with you. When asked if everything was satisfactory at the end, there was a surprised response. They all thought the waiting time wasn't too bad. After some negotiating, we had a round of drinks taken off the bill. Tip of the Day. Since takeaway and delivery seem to take priority, I would suggest ordering your food for takeaway and just sitting down in the restaurant, you'll be done in 30m. We won't be coming here for the time being.
