Spare Rib Express Nieuwegein in Stadscentrum

Delivery was very fast; it was supposed to take 50 minutes, but it arrived within 25 minutes, which was great. The spareribs were mediocre, rather dry, and tasted strange. The Madame Jeanette sauce was so spicy it shocked me; it was awful! The baguette was okay, the herb butter was a very small tub. The potato gratin was fine. Unfortunately (still) no fries here. Furthermore, it was neatly packaged, including a damp cloth, napkin, and mints. I won't be ordering from here again anytime soon.

Ordered through Thuiszorgd. The company should stop working with them. Extremely poor delivery service. We had to call the restaurant several times to find out that the Thuiszorg driver had broken down and wasn't coming. As a result, we had to wait almost 2.5 hours for our food. Absolutely unacceptable. We didn't get a discount because we had to order through Thuiszorgd, but of course, there's no way to contact them. 2 stars because it's not entirely the restaurant's fault. But they should use their own delivery service and not Thuiszorgd anymore.

We waited 1 hour and 50 minutes for our food while it said it was between 40-60 and finally it arrived and it arrived cold and the burger we ordered was also burnt.

Always delicious spare ribs. Very friendly people. And always helpful. And I can also recommend trying the chicken satay or the wings.

The food arrived an hour late. The excuse was that a road was closed, but that only added 10 to 15 minutes to the delivery time. Another excuse was rush hour. This should happen every week, so you should be aware of this. The food was lukewarm/cold, and the ice cream had melted. Otherwise, the food tasted fine. There was no apology from the delivery driver or the person I spoke to on the phone. Such a shame.

Scheduled the delivery 2 hours before and even tipped for delivery but still got it late. The herb butter also came in a tiny tiny portion which is completely not enough for the potato.

A bit odd. I patiently and politely explained that I'd only like the spare ribs because I find the ribs too tough to eat. They looked at me as if no one was home. Can't expect any service these days, yuck😒 I'm not going to pay for a bunch of bones.

what heroes! ordered spareribs (1kg) sweet and spicy, ngein-> houten. that's a 20-30 min drive and it arrived BOILING hot! potatoes arrived lukewarm and burnt and that was delivered together with the forgotten corn immediately. received 2nd box. potatoes but no corn, I called back laughing and the gentleman was not happy about the kitchen and the staff. he offered his sincere apologies and that a new order was coming. delivery person brought 2 corns. for the man on the phone, HERO! if I could give more than 5 stars I would have done so. top solved, exactly as it should be <3

Absolutely disappointing. The spare ribs arrived cold, tough as the soles of shoes, and clearly not cooked properly — as if they had been thrown from the freezer onto the plate while half-cooked. As if that wasn't bad enough, delivery took over an hour and a half, while a much shorter time was indicated when ordering. No apologies, no explanation, just bad service and even worse food. This was my first and also my last order here.

The ribs were hot and tasty, but delivery is a bloodbath. The waiting time is 1.5 hours and a delay of 1 hour and 15 minutes. So if you are not very hungry and have a lot of time, order it.

Very good meat, practically falls off the bone, nice marinade. 5 minutes late for pick up 90% of the time, but worth the wait. Not obscene prices and can usually get a deal for free extras. Nice staff.

If you order after around 9 p.m., they will let you pay, but they will not deliver your order. They keep money and don't answer the phone anymore 👍

Ordered here quite often and it is always delicious. Only this x that we ordered (spareribs sweet) was really salty, we called afterward and were promptly sent new ones. We think about finally eating and open the box. And guess what, exactly the same and it's not a bit salty (we like salty food) but this was really not normal, it was salty (and they had tasted it and made the sauce less salty) we will call again and then you are told that they cannot do anything for you because only the manager can do that and he is not present. After a very long conversation, we were able to get a different flavor of spare ribs (but still not the quantity we ordered for the 3rd party). It's a shame that it is said that it is being looked into. So if you want to get kidney stones, it's no problem, you get them for free!

Ordered spare ribs for 9 people for our mother who had turned 81. Placed order to Sander the day before. It was delivered on time and everyone enjoyed it. Also something extra as a surprise. Thanks for the good service and see you next time.

Ordered food and it was hot, just not at the agreed time...delivery time 3:45 PM requested, delivered at 5:00 PM, that could be better guys.

This is the first time I order here and it is also the last time I order at 5:30 PM and it is now 6:17 PM. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AND WHEN I READ HERE NOW IT IS CONSTANTLY LIKE THIS!!!!!!! If I had read this here before, I wouldn't have told THUISBEZORGD.NL TO REMOVE THAT TRADE FROM YOUR FILE.

Quality was often a bit variable but has been really good the past few times! A small error was quickly corrected after a call and the staff was very friendly both when picking up, on the telephone and during subsequent delivery. New flavor is also very tasty.

It was before and a few years ago it was really great, super fresh and tender and well packaged warm in foil until they no longer delivered in Schalkwijk, a shame we ordered almost every month until last summer, they delivered again right away, but what was it was bad, tough and burned cold because it was not wrapped in foil, so we reported it, but there was no response, unfortunately it cost enough now that our son ordered it tonight, very sweet of him, but what a disappointment again, tough, cold, burned again and reported it. Now there was a good response, we received new ones, but you guessed it wrong, it's a shame, I don't know where it goes wrong, but this is how customers walk away, do something with it because it looks like there are many with the same complaints. You gave us e stars purely because they did deliver afterward, even though it wasn't good yet, it cost enough and we didn't have any food yet

Spare ribs were good, hamburger sandwich was tasty, you could taste the freshness of the sandwich. Ribs loaded potato tasted good, but personal taste was that the potato was too big. The gratin was also well prepared

Just ordered a sweet and spicy menu. It is rather sour and a little bit spicy. The sauce looks burnt. The meat is dry and tough and tastes like what it looks like. Burnt 🙄. For the amount you pay you can really hope that they feed them better. They wouldn't even serve this to themselves. This is a waste of my money and I want it back because then I would rather waste it on something else than a menu that is not edible. Because this goes straight into the trash

How can you deliver this to your customers? Burned and looks like it has been eaten... called and was sent a new one. Also burned. Threw everything away. Waste of money..

It was really bad, I took the ribs off and they weren't cooked properly, a real disappointment, I don't think it's nearly as good as it was a while ago. Shame !!

There have probably been changes in the restaurant because until 6 months ago the food was always delicious and well delivered. But last time both the potatoes and the veggie burger were burnt. This could even be tasted in the product. Pity

The quantity and quality of the food is certainly not worth the amount you pay for it. I doubt whether the 400 gram spare ribs will be achieved. Furthermore, we did not receive everything that was ordered. It came with a nice bag, but they could better use that money to improve the quality. In any case, it was the last time for us at the spare rib express. Shame.

Komen niet op de afgesproken tijd. Ook niet na nog eens vrij lang wachten. Na veel zoeken een telefoonnummer gevonden. Medewerker klonk weinig gëinteresseerd. "Ja, het is druk. Kan nog wel even duren". Hmmm... Volgende keer maar ergens anders bestellen dan. Over de kwaliteit kan ik weinig zeggen want ze zijn er nog steeds niet.

Vorige keren top. Deze keer viel het tegen. Duurde een eeuwigheid dat ze bezorgt werden en het eten was dus koud spareribs waren gedeeltelijk lekker mals maar ook veel harde oneetbare stukken vlees. Erg jammer. Plus 400gr... dat was het zeker niet...

Zijn altijd tevreden geweest over de spareribs. Over het eten hebben we geen klachten maar vandaag even gewogen hoeveel gram spareribs er in het doosje zat. Dit was nog niet een 325 gram en hadden 3 x 400 gram met daarbij nog 2x stokbrood en 1 maïskolven. Kregen 1 stokbrood te weinig en zaten ook geen zakjes met doekjes, pepermuntjes enz bij. En we zijn toch echt wel vaste klant daar. Maar voelen ons nu wel een soort van bedonderd dat de spareribs veel te weinig was. Hadden dit idee wel eerder. Maar verder niks mee gedaan.

Goed eten, op tijd bezorgd! Het toetje was eerst niet aanwezig, maar ze hebben heel netjes nageleverd en zelfs een extra toetje geleverd!

Matig eten, persoon achter balie was wel vriendelijk. Sparibs lijken wel opgewarmd (smaken niet vers) en hamburger is appart verpakt naast broodje....

Op de ontvangstbevestiging staat bezorging binnen een half uur. Eten kwam eerst na een uur. Advies, geef geen maximum wachttijd aan. Wekt verwachtingen. Een uur wachten vind ik overigens geen probleem. Eten was heerlijk en z’n geld waard, was zeer mals viel echt van het bot af zoals het hoort. Kortom, eten voor herhaling vatbaar.

Top eten! Bestel nu al meerdere maanden bij sparibs expres nieuwegein en elke keer weer opnieuw tevreden. Echte aanrader!

It’s great! The spareribs are really nice. There’s a wide range of flavours to choose from, for a reasonable price. I wish they sold fries though. There’s a lot on the menu, but you just can’t get fries here.

Misschien ben ik te verwend door Joe's Spareribs (nu gesloten), maar ik had toch beter verwacht. De bedrijfsnaam doet vermoeden dat er wel enige expertise is op het gebied van spareribs. Nou, op het moment dat ik de helft van het bot moet scheuren als een te lang gebakken karbonaadje , werd voor mij duidelijk dat de expertise niet omgezet werd in een goed product. De andere helft was wel zacht, vandaar de 2 sterren. Nog net. Houd je van Spareribs...dit is niet de plek van het genieten.

Spareribs zijn wel lekker. 1 gepofte aardappel vind ik wel treurige kwa de prijs die je betaald 1 aardappeltje kost hun niks dus ze kunnen er gerust nog wel twee minimaal bij doen bijgerechten zijn saai wil je beetje goed eten kom je al snel uit op 25 euro.

Twee keer besteld en kwam binnen 3 kwartier thuis. Eerste keer zelfs binnen 20 minuten. Erg goeie spareribs met redelijke sidedishes. Wel aan de prijs maar zeker waard. Ga vanavond weer lekker bestellen.
