A nice place with tasty Thai dishes. I ordered green curry with chicken and was asked how spicy I would like it to be. I chose the most spicy version and it was still manageable :). Good depth of flavor, tasty noodles as a side, and prices were on the standard NL level. Service was super nice and attentive.

Ordered food here and had it delivered. Soup was coconut milk with a bit of broth flavor real Thai flavors hard to find as well as the padthai with shrimp. All overcooked. Old piece of lemon and lack of padthai flavor, in short very disappointing

My wife and I were in Eindhoven again. As someone who is gluten-allergic, finding food is always a challenge for me. The very friendly and helpful staff here informed us that almost every dish in this restaurant can be prepared gluten-free. I was also informed that all cooking utensils are cleaned beforehand. Truly fantastic, and a real rarity. If we're back in Eindhoven, we'll go there again. It's also incredibly delicious.

Lovely place. Green curry was a bit too spicy but I was warned about it beforehand. Cocktail was great.

The restaurant is located on Stratumseind. Which is a great place to go out, but I think it is a bit less atmospheric to go out for dinner. On Saturday night there was enough space inside. The restaurant is neat inside, but nothing special. I found the service informal but friendly and fast. And then the most important thing: the food. I didn't have to wait long for anything, but really the most important thing: It tasted delicious. I couldn't find much to complain about, so I would happily come here again for Thai food.

Delicious starters but very disappointing rude service. I have been there for 3 times and it never happened to me like this before - we had to wait for more than 40 minutes after we ordered, while the guests who arrived later than us had been already finishing. No staff was willing to check upon our order and when we finished the main course nobody came to our table to ask if we’d like to have desserts. Very strange experience and don’t think we would like to go back there again.

The place was full, there was just room for 2 when we arrived. As a result, the sound was a bit too much for my taste. But the flavors of the food.....exquisite. The operation and service are even better. RECOMMENDED

I was skeptical at first! Me, who can't read the menu as a German, me, who doesn't eat anything spicy in the least, then going to the restaurant with my dog... But!!! It was great! The staff was so friendly and attentive! My friend got great typical spicy food and loved it! I had the sissy menu Fried noodles with shrimp and soy sauce... That was exactly what I wanted! I was well advised ;o) Shrimp chips first! It was wonderful, the dog also loved the latter and was looked after by the staff with water and cuddles! They even helped take the dog's sweater off! Great service, really great! Any time again and highly recommended! Thank you for this experience!

The most delicious Thai restaurant in Eindhogen! I come here when I want to eat spicy food! I have ordered various dishes so far, but I especially like green curry and spare ribs ♡ You can adjust the spiciness of the curry to your liking. The green curry is so delicious that I can't stop eating it! It contains seasonal vegetables, so it's always fun to change the ingredients. When you put the spare ribs in your mouth, they fall apart from the bones. soft! It has a strong flavor, so it goes well with beer! The clerks are kind and polite. Everyone always greets customers with a smile, which makes me feel happy. A delicious restaurant with good cost performance. I will continue to visit!

Delicious food and very nice service

The worst Thai food we have eaten. It feels like except for a high level of spiciness the food has nothing to do with Thailand. Rice that should be sticky came out just overcooked. Green curry is runny and feels like it was made with a ready-made paste from the supermarket. They put an unreasonable amount of bamboo inside but does that have anything to do with this kitchen? It took the dishes 45 minutes to arrive and let's not talk, the waitress didn't say a word about the level of spiciness nor did she ask. Big disappointment with the restaurants in this city.

Good but a little slow in service

We go on holiday to Thailand almost every year. When we walk into Spice Up we have the feeling that we are back in Thailand. The food is great. Staff is also very attentive. 10/10.

Oh what a nice pad thai and green curry!

Pedí 4 platos para dos después de escuchar que este era un buen lugar para tailandeses y nuestro restaurante habitual estaba cerrado por vacaciones. Pero me pareció que los platos carecían de autenticidad: más chinos que tailandeses. Los pasteles de pescado estaban casi bien, pero la textura era gomosa. El saté era graso y la salsa de cacahuete sosa. Las gambas al curry rojo nadaban un poco en la salsa, pero el sabor era bueno. Los fideos Phad Thai eran más como Tjap Tjoi. Volveremos a nuestro tailandés habitual, que sigue siendo el rey.

Delicious food, attentive service and good value for money. What struck me is how well the service thinks along. For vegetarian options, we check whether vegan is desired and before serving the meal we were asked whether we wanted to share the dishes. All in all very enthusiastic, will definitely come and eat here again!

El personal era amable al servirnos. Pedido curry rojo tailandés con camarones junto con arroz al vapor. La comida llegó en unos 20-25 minutos. Estaba lleno de sabor, y los camarones se hicieron perfectamente. En general, fue una gran experiencia y una buena ubicación para ir si estás en Eindhoven.

It was the most delicious meal I had in Eindhoven. First of all, the person who is believed to be the owner is very friendly and if you ask me for a menu recommendation, he will do so well. I ordered shrimp pad thai, the recommended red curry, tom yum goong, zero cola, and mojito, and they were all delicious so I ate them all. However, I think the amount of cola was about 200ml, so I think it would be better to have beer. First of all, if you are Korean, order shrimp pad thai^ㅁ^ The pad thai is really delicious. This is a great pad thai restaurant. I've tried it at Gourmet, but the shrimp here are much bigger and more delicious. I have lived in Chiang Mai for a month, and the taste is very similar to that of Thailand, except for the tom yum goong. I don't usually like tom yum goong, but it was actually easier to eat. Seeing what the tables around me are eating, I think the other menu items are above average as well :-) I highly recommend it.

I am not writing this review to be mean but I am hoping that this restaurant work on these points. You can see that the staff has a nice personality! Especially the man!! We entered got seated. Then waited way too long for our menu until I told my husband to just take it himself because all the menus were on the corner of the bar. I wasn’t upset because I genuinely thought the girl forgot. Then after waiting again another girl finally came to take our order which was a VIRGIN PIÑA COLADA and a red curry shrimp. We asked the price of the mocktail because the drink price was not on the drink menu and she said 8,50.. I found it a little overpriced but I really wanted it because the picture makes you want it. Then our food came after again waiting way too long and still nothing of our drink. So I asked the first girl and she went to make it. It took so long so I was expecting an amazing drink!! When I tell you all how disappointed I was to receive a halffull glass of some sort of dark yellow juice 😭💔 I didn’t take a picture cause we were just so confused and disappointed. An older woman decided to explain how it was a pre made juice… and that she can’t do anything about it so I decided to just send it back and she told me I could order something else. At that point I just wanted to leave. We ate our food that was also disappointing. Because of the events around the pin machines weren’t working properly so a man came so we can pay by tikkie we paid and left.

Pricy Thai restaurant with extremely sweet food. I have had plenty of Thai food before and although it is evidently on the sweet side this was way too extreme.

As a true fan of Thai food, I'll definitely try spice up once in a while. The reviews don't lie so I was very curious to take a seat here. The location is in the middle of the entertainment area of ​​Eindhoven (stratum), but once in the restaurant I was no longer concerned about that. Inside it is a neatly finished restaurant with a nice casual atmosphere. It's not too big, which made it feel nice and cozy to me. We received excellent help from our hosts, who responded quickly to our questions. The menu is very extensive and I thought the homemade Thai ice tea with milk was a clear plus. The food was delicious! I had the thicker curry with shrimp and white rice. The others had specialties including fried rice served in a pineapple and delicious pork belly. The presentation was great and so was the taste. Portions also fine, prices are within a reasonable range. I actually wanted another dessert but it was getting late so I skipped it this time but I will definitely come back for that. Especially because I saw that there was mango sticky rice on the menu!!! Definitely worth repeating and recommended to everyone!

As 2024 women’s day comes, I must come to comment, this is the first restaurant in my life where I saw that they provides sanitary pad, they just put them outside the toilet, you even don’t need to ask anyone, when you are in urgent situation, you can just take one. They are provided as usual as toilet paper. I really would like to thank them, they are really kind to women! As to the dishes, comes a bit slowly, but quite delicious, each dish has its own taste, and pay attention if you don’t like very sweet thing, if you order homemade drink, tell them put less sugar, their milk tea is super sweet 🤣

Mediocre flavors and slow service. We ordered 2 dishes from the "Stir fry" section: after 50 minutes of waiting and to our disappointment, we received a bowl with a liquid sauce and a dish with veggies in a watery soy sauce broth. Not what you expect from a stir-fry. Flavors were obviously watered down and lacking the expected Thai zest. The meat was boiled and tough. Same goes for Pad Thai noodles. The staff was friendly even if inattentive. Overall not worth the time and money.

Spice Up, on Stratumseind, has a top kitchen, very tasty dishes. Good taste and nice and spicy. Wide choice on the menu. Highly recommended. Went for the second time on Boxing Day. We enjoyed it so much.

Jedno z lepszych miejsc jeśli chodzi o jedzenie i klimat. Jedzenie przygotowane na bieżąco, zawsze jest przepyszne. Obsługa zawsze podpowiada co możemy zamówić, proponuje dodatki i służy pomocą. Ceny są w mojej opinii bardzo dobre. Jeśli chcecie spędzić miło czas w gronie znajomych lub na randce to jest to idealne miejsce.

I went there with a few friends on Monday, which is normally not a busy day for restaurants. But I called to make a reservation, just to be sure. Everything went well, and soon after we arrived, it starts to get more crowded. The homemade drink is great, but I think it is a bit overpriced. The food is good, not amazing but good! Of course perhaps it might be just that my choice was not the best one - I ordered seafood but my friend said the flavor would go better with beef. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed the gathering there and would definitely come back there.

Fantastisch eten, mijn favoriet in Eindhoven! De pad thai is heerlijk, maar zo ook veel andere gerechten zoals de inktvis salade en gewokte Thaise basilicum. Het menu is daarnaast uitgebreid, met veel verschillende gerechten en opties per gerecht. Het kan wel goed pikant zijn, maar het personeel geeft het duidelijk aan en er zijn veel opties. Alsnog raad ik aan het te proberen en indien het te pikant is, is de melkthee lekker en helpt het tegen pittigheid. Bediening is ook snel en attent, sfeer is gezellig. Het kan druk zijn, maar dat ging niet ten koste van geluid, ruimte of service, dus top! Reserveren is dan ook handig. Verder een aanrader om met 3-4 personen te komen om van extra veel gerechten te genieten!

Goed Thais restaurant in de uitgaansstraat van Eindhoven in het stadscentrum. De buitenkant valt niet op. Het interieur vanbinnen is simpel maar oogt schoon en modern. We werden zeer vriendelijk geholpen. Het eten was heel lekker. Porties mogen wel iets groter, maar het was niet heel prijzig. Wij hadden de pad thai, groene curry met garnalen en de papaya salade. Al met al zullen we zeker terugkomen.

Een van de beste Thais van Eindhoven ** Beste Google review-reviewers: dit is echt waar, je kan me bellen. Geen bot, geen spam, geen fake, maar echt lekker eten. Tip: ga er zelf heen ** Dit is 100% te vergelijken met wat je in Thailand op straat en op de markt eet. Inmiddels meer dan 10 keer daar gegeten en een keer afgehaald. En het blijft mijn favo Thai tent in Eindhoven en omstreken. Ter vergelijking: de rest in Eindhoven is prima, what posh en daardoor overpriced die op het NS plein in Tilburg is helemaal niks. Deze komt er zeker bovenuit. En ja, de afhalers gaan soms voor, omdat ze nu eenmaal eerder besteld hebben. Je kan ook telefonisch bestellen en dan word je in de juiste volgorde afgehandeld. En wachten op je eten, als je daar zit, is totaal geen probleem, omdat je geduld enorm beloond wordt. Update jan-2022: inmiddels zeker 8 keer hier gegeten en het blijft heerlijk en de mensen zijn zoooo thai-vriendelijk. Ben benieuwd naar de nieuwe locatie en hoop dat het karakter van het thaise eettentje in tact blijft! Update juli 2023: Google heeft deze recensie weggehaald. Dit is echt een geweldig eethuis! Pas nog een padthai gegeten in de nieuwe locatie. Waarom deze verwijderen? Het is echt geweldig daar.
