My experiences with the City Farm vary greatly. You can have a good (gluten-free) lunch or dinner there for a reasonable price, but waiting times can be quite long. The service also doesn't seem to realize when you want to order, or when it is time to remove empty glasses and bottles from the table.

Highly recommended. The contours of the old farm have been beautifully incorporated into a modern look (literally put in the glass). Food was good. Service was fine. The chef came to ask if the food was to your liking (you don't see that everywhere). The urban farm has a social vision by also employing staff with disabilities. Their slogan is "Unlimited Food".

Zaterdag 10 augustus 2024 omstreeks 12:23 uur kwamen wij op het terras zitten. Meteen iemand voor de drank en erna voor de bestelling. Wij namen 1 maal de briosti kaas, ham met witte brioche en 3 maal de Briosti kaas, pesto, tomaat, aioli met extra stadsgarnituur (gebakken ui, paprika, prei, champignons, spek) op bruin brioche. De salade was goed proper, de smaken zaten perfect, de pesto was van uitermate kwaliteit en genoeg brioche. Dit hadden we nog niet geproefd en we moeten eerlijk zijn, we zijn fan! Ook de stadsgarnituur (gebakken ui, paprika, prei, champignons, spek) was extreem lekker erbij, perfect van cuison. Wat ook leuk hier is, hier zijn verschillende zorgaanbieders samen die aan hun klanten een leuke en volwaardige werkplek geven. Want waarom zou het hebben van een verstandelijke beperking betekenen dat iemand niet zijn of haar droombaan kan uitoefenen? Zij bewijzen het tegendeel door te kijken naar wat mensen wél kunnen én hen daarbij op de juiste manier te begeleiden. Daardoor genieten de medewerkers hier met volle teugen van deze fijne werkplek. Mooi initiatief!

On Saturday, August 10, 2024, around 12:23 p.m., we came to sit on the terrace. Immediately someone for the drinks and afterwards for the order. We had the Briosti cheese, ham with white brioche once and the Briosti cheese, pesto, tomato, aioli with extra city garnish (fried onion, pepper, leek, mushrooms, bacon) on brown brioche three times. The salad was clean, the flavors were perfect, the pesto was of excellent quality and enough brioche. We had not tasted this yet and we have to be honest, we are fans! The city garnish (fried onion, pepper, leek, mushrooms, bacon) was also extremely tasty, perfect cuison. What is also nice here, there are several healthcare providers together who provide their customers with a fun and fully-fledged workplace. Because why would having an intellectual disability mean that someone cannot pursue their dream job? They prove the opposite by looking at what people can do and guiding them in the right way. As a result, the employees here thoroughly enjoy this pleasant workplace. Nice initiative!

Very cozy restaurant, we were served by the nicest young people with a disability! Very friendly, do it very nice. Also the lunch was of very good quality, which we enjoyed in a beautiful garden.

Really a great restaurant for food and drink. The integrative service is great, everyone is really friendly. The food is unbeatable in terms of price-performance ratio and very tasty. The concept of this restaurant is that it is run by mentally handicapped people. With the support of staff who have been working in the hospitality industry for years. The staff is very friendly and will help you. Whatever you order, it is all excessive in ingredients. We had a sandwich carpaccio with fries. And we really enjoyed it. More than enough carpaccio and delicious home-cut fries. Really recommended to visit if you are in the area. We will definitely come back here again.

Had a nice lunch with a slightly larger group! However, it took a very long time before our order arrived at the table. But it tasted great, so that made up for a lot.

Op een mooie locatie genoten van een heerlijke 3 gangen maaltijd. De borden prachtig opgemaakt, het eten smaakvol, vriendelijke bediening, echt een aanrader!

Wat een goede service en geweldig eten! Wij hadden een heerlijke wrap met zalm, een brosti (zo lekker!) en een goedgevulde uitsmijter. Echt top. Als de drankjes net op waren werd er alweer gevraagd of we nog iets wilden en er werd meerdere malen vriendelijk gevraagd of alles naar wens was. Super bediening! Onder de trap een klein speelhoekje met keukentje voor kinderen. Oa. Een prima lunch plek voor een gezin met kindjes.

Tip: De salade met biefstuk puntjes. Ongelooflijk lekker en meer dan ruime porties...Oja vergeet niet de heerlijke patatjes mee te bestellen.

De High-Tea viel helaas tegen. (Hoewel we normaal gesproken wel graag bij de Stadsboerderij komen lunchen!) Veel kant-en klare hapjes en gebakjes, weinig zelf gemaakt. Denk aan gebakjes of minisaucijzen die je ook gewoon bij de supermarkt kan kopen. Voor het bedrag dat je voor deze high-tea betaald had ik meer verwacht dus dat was wel teleurstellend. Hopelijk zal de Stadsboerderij in de toekomst iets meer tijd en energie in de voorbereiding van de high tea stoppen. Desondanks een leuke gezellige zaak met vriendelijke personeel.

Wat een mooie locatie is dit. Heerlijke lunch met super goede én leuke bediening. Als we hier weer een keer in de buurt zijn (wij komen uit Amsterdam!) komen we zeker weer langs!

Je kunt hier leuk lunchen! Ze hebben lekkere gerechten, ook voor vegetariërs. Aan de achterkant van het pand zit een fijn terras.

De lunchkaart is hier erg uitgebreid, met verschillende warme en koude gerechten en salades. De portie was redelijk, niet overdreven groot. De sfeer is er gezellig en ontspannen. Als we in de buurt zijn komen we zeker terug.

Heerlijke gegeten, de pesto Briochti was echt heerlijk. Eindelijk ook eens garnering zonder komkommer, voor mij een eerste keer! Altijd fijn als er voor kinderen een bolletje jam/hagelslag op het menu staat. Prijzen zijn schappelijk. Aanrader!

Ontbijt is super! Zeker voor deze prijs. Konden niet alles op en mochten het overige mee naar huis nemen. Erg vriendelijk personeel. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

We waren met 5 volwassenen en 4 kinderen, dat past niet helemaal bij elkaar maar er werd gepuzzeld met tafels zodat we toch samen konden zitten. Het ontbijt is hier altijd hartstikke lekker en de sfeer is ronduit gezellig.

Goed geholpen en prima gegeten. Niets bijzonders maar wel lekker. Kindermenu viel ook in de smaak. Redelijk aan de prijs voor een middelmatig menu, zal de inflatie wel zijn.

Zoete yoghurt met vruchtjes werd als ‘salade’ bij een diner geserveerd. Geen nagerecht genomen, dat zat dus al bij het hoofdgerecht, gemiste kans.

Prima plek om een hapje te eten

Heerlijk gegeten, een brosti met een eigen gemaakte peren ijsthee. Top bediening daar. (Ik was te laat met het maken van een foto, het was al op.)

Royaal eten voor een goede prijs! De bediening is vriendelijk en je kan er lekker zitten, zowel binnen als buiten op de twee(!) terrassen.

Heerlijk geluncht. Lekkere koffie, goede broodjes en soep. Bediening altijd vriendelijk en attent. Soms wat langer wachten maar dat vind ik geen probleem. Er wordt erg goed hun best gedaan.

Samen met onze volwassen kinderen een ontbijt gehad. We hebben genoten van hetgeen op tafel kwam. De bediening was erg leuk, de kwaliteit van het eten goed en goed verzorgd.

Wanneer we in de buurt zijn bezoeken wij altijd de stadsboerderij in Rijssen. Hele fijne plek om te verblijven. Lekker ontspannen om te zijn. Lekker eten en drinken. Hele fijne en lieve bediening ondanks dat er mensen met een (licht) verstandelijke beperking werken. Dat heeft voor mij extra charme omdat juist zij open en eerlijk zijn en nog echt contact maken met mensen en dit ook menen en niet alleen omdat het erbij hoort. Er is altijd een heel ontspannen sfeer daar en dat straalt zich weer uit naar de gasten die ook al zouden ze zelf gespannen of gestresst zijn daar ontspannen weg komen.

Al meerdere keren geweest. Altijd heerlijk gebak en lekkere koffie. Ook om te lunchen een aanrader. Voor kinderen zijn er kinderstoelen aanwezig. Ruimtelijk ingedeeld restaurant.
