A good experience with this snack restaurant. We ate here and were pleasantly surprised by the service. Crispy fries and a snack on a plate with cutlery. Small terrace where the awning was immediately rolled out for us. The interior is also very neat. Highly recommended.

It's a shame that you don't get your food and drinks all at once. But the fries aren't tasty, they throw in fries that have already been fried and that's not tasty. I think it's a shame that my son has a nice business with such slow staff. For me I've seen it, make it yourself, it's even tastier than when you pick it up and cheaper too.

Only little kids work there; they don't even know how to fry fries. I've said twice, "No overcooked fries"... overcooked fries get tough quickly. And lo and behold, there they are. I'd rather drive to Rodie's.

I tried this new snack bar in Slikkerveer that has been open for a while now. I ordered a menu with fries, hamburgers and a drink. I found the fries very cold and not warm. The sensation of the hamburger did not really reach a high point for me. I thought the hamburger was mediocre. The sauce was nice and tasted good with the hamburger. You can tell that this snack bar still has a lot to learn. There is actually a Chinese person from the neighboring restaurant in here and you can see that he is not really someone with snack experience. I also asked for a veggie burger. You would think that the snack bar could put that on the menu by now. But they did not have it. The price I also found quite high and the service was nice, but they had to ask me a few times how I wanted my burger and how or what. For the price I expected something better. If I had to choose between a fast food chain and this snack bar, I would go for a fast food chain.

Bad chip shop. If you sit in the restaurant section, they don't ask you what you want to order. We were not given any cutlery, they had forgotten our drinks and they mixed up all the snacks on the plates we were given, while I don't eat meat. There was a long line and they work very slowly, they absolutely cannot handle the crowds here.

Just got food, it was chaos again because there is no structure at all in the service, it just runs around and you forget to give half so you have to go back, sorry, they don't say fries weren't hot, it's all quite expensive, it's good The food alone is a mess in the service, so better guidance wouldn't be surprising!

The case looks neat after the renovation. But the food is dramatic. Frikandel special with ketchup and you still get curry. Today cold fries, cold hogweed with cold peanut sauce. Cha sieuw sandwich was also undercooked. It's a shame that baking has deteriorated so much. Hopefully things will improve further by training staff better.

Yesterday everything really hit. Waited 45 minutes for the food to be picked up. Even people who ordered via the internet had to wait a long time. Finally home after an hour, part of the order is missing. So I called to report it. No, it could not still be delivered. If only I wanted to come back myself. Done with this case.

Good fries and tasty snacks! The staff works hard and does their best. The cafeteria looks neat and there is a wide choice in the range. Very nice that Slikkerveer has a good snack bar again.

The business has had a nice renovation. The range is good and extensive. The service is sometimes a bit variable, but generally okay. You can eat on site or take away. Ordering online or calling is also possible. Parking is also fine, just pay attention to the blue card.

Unfortunately disappointed again. Bad service from the new owners before the renovation. Fries thrown on a plate and dollop of mayonnaise on top. Beautiful place after renovation, only the food was left behind. Everything was put on 1 plate for the 4 of us. I said why on 1 plate how should we eat now. Was looked at strangely. Sandwiches were old and my kids even spit out the food. Very unfortunate. A few years ago we actually enjoyed coming there. Only the woman who has worked there for years is very friendly.

Very nice business with friendly staff who really do their best! Food is of good quality and at today's price. We eat there every week and have also eaten there with a group. Everything was very nice. I don't understand the poor reviews. In my view, a successful takeover and we would like to continue coming there!

Super tasty food and lovely people

Two very sweet women helped us, service was great, we received delicious crispy fries and good mayonnaise. I don't really understand why there are no good reviews, tastes differ I guess. We quickly received our food, tables, toilet and kitchen look clean and tidy. Great snack bar :)

Counting bad. Bloodje hambugel had been wet and not too wet. Very messy and dirty since the takeover.

For years, Starfood has been known as the worst fries shop in Ridderkerk and the surrounding area. It was recently announced that there was a new owner, namely the neighbors of the adjacent Chinese restaurant Yu Fong, which is known as a good restaurant. After many disappointing orders, we went to see if there was any improvement. Upon arrival it looked exactly like the infamous Starfood. However, it became clear at the reception by the new employee that changes had taken place. A friendly welcome indeed, the order was properly taken and checked at checkout. The order was ready within 7 minutes and instead of the usual disappointment you had with Starfood, this time it was good. The order was complete, hot and crispy and the flavors were what you expect from a chip shop. Tip for the owner, change the name and interior and start with a clean slate.

Oh guys, StarFood in Ridderkerk seriously deserves a Michelin star... for worst dining experience ever! 🌟 I mean, if there was a culinary leaderboard for messing up dishes, they would win the golden spatula. I'm sure even the hungriest trash bins in the neighborhood avoid this place like the plague. Let's talk about those fries - I think they lost the secret of taste in the space-time continuum. 🚀 These fries were harder than higher grade math and had less flavor than a color blind coloring book. I would rather use them as a tool to loosen stuck screws than to satisfy my hunger. And the order was so incomplete it looked like they had made up a prize winner for 'the least amount of food for the highest price'. Seriously, my meal was sparser than the occupancy of a goldfish in an empty fishbowl. 🐟 And that mayonnaise? Don't get me started on that mayonnaise. I've never tasted a sauce so sour that it felt like it came straight from a parallel universe where sour is the new sweet. I think it's their secret weapon to drive away customers - acid to the power of 10! And the employees, oh man, those guys took a masterclass in rudeness. They looked at me as if I was personally responsible for the world food shortage. I wondered if they had ever attended a seminar called "How to Discourage Customers in Just Three Steps?" 🤔 So if you're looking for an intergalactic adventure of tastelessness, toughness and rudeness, definitely go to StarFood in Ridderkerk. It's like traveling into space, but without the fun astronaut food and with a lot of disappointments instead. 🌌⛔️

Iedere bestelling was incompleet. Bij deze snackbar heb ik 4x een grotere bestelling geplaatst (voor 10 - 15 personen). Het eten (patat en snack) was niet slecht, best ok. Bij iedere bestelling missen een aantal dingen. Dan weer 3 kroketten, dan 2x patat en een frikadel, etc. Opvallend is dat het nooit eens iets extra's is. Altijd te weinig. Je geeft nog een briefje met de bestelling. Maar goed, 7.50 euro afrekenen voor iets wat je niet ontvangt, is toch 10% van de bestelwaarde in dit geval. Als je bestellingen plaatst tussen de 70 en 90 euro. Je wacht zelf even buiten totdat de bestelling klaar is. Ga dan als snackbar niet over de balie staan schreeuwen naar buiten toe, of tikken op het raam dat het klaar is. Er staan 3 mensen achter de balie weinig werk te doen. Loop even naar buiten en overhandig de bestelling.

Ongezellige bediening vervelend mens

Heel fijn geholpen door vriendelijke blonde dame. Frite was goed en ijs heerlijk. Dus waar al die slechte reviews vandaan komen?

De kwaliteit is wisselend, de patat smaakt nooit hetzelfde. De een bakt altijd de kaas uit de kaassoufle en de ander maakt hem perfect. De burgers zijn gelukkig altijd goed. Er is echt nog wel veel verbetering mogelijk, ook in de enorm trage service. Ongeacht hoe druk of rustig het is, het duurt altijd zo lang voor men überhaupt een bestelling op neemt. Een verandering in werkwijze zou veel effectiever en sneller voor ze werken. Het is niet slecht genoeg om niet meer te komen, maar ben ook geen fan. Ik ben meer fan van de bram, maar dat komt omdat ik ook meer fan ben van verse patat dan diepvries friet..

Sinds m’n kinderjaren kom ik al hier. Vroeger zou ik het een dikke 5 ster hebben gegeven, maar tegenwoordig kom ik hier eigenlijk alleen nog maar voor de heerlijke pindasaus. De leidinggevende kijkt zwaar chagrijnig en geeft de indruk dat ze je liever weg wilt hebben. However, niet iedereen kan veel aan hun facial expression doen, dus ik geef haar de benefit of the doubt. Maar een kleine lach mag heus wel, hoor… Ik voel me wel altijd een beetje geintimideerd. Voor de rest is alles nog wel prima.

Aller eerst even een applaus voor de hard werkende dames ze doen hun best! .. voor de rest is de patat matig hij is beetje semi stijf terwijl je het liefst gewoon een lekkere harde wil zou maar zeggen… de frikandellen zijn goed niks op aan te merken net zoals de kaassoufflé.. dan komen we bij de Mexicano die is leip lekker oulleh beetje mayo en je voelt je als een god in frankrijk… dan als laatste komen we bij berenklauw natuurlijk met pindasaus, deze geef ik 3/5 ster hij was een beetje te doorbakken maar ging goed in het mikkie eigenlijk kan je daar weinig aan verpesten… totaal geef ik deze snackbar 3/5 ster.

Mooi Chinees restaurant lekker gegeten

Wisselende kwaliteit, frituurvet mag wel wat vaker ververst mogen worden. Veel personeel wisselingen. Ik haal m'n patat bij de Chinees er naast en de snacks bij star

Net voor sluitingstijd. Supervriendelijk geholpen.

Zouteloze patat met ijswater zonder smaak als milkshake. Het was dat ik in 8 uur niet gegeten had. Dat nam de fijnproeverij weg waardoor het nog een beetje te eten was. Twee sterren is omdat het wel snel klaar was.

Goede snackbar met lekkere friet. Het maakt wel uit wanneer je komt - kom je op een rustig moment, dan krijg je netjes je bestelling. Kom je rond de avondspits, dan moet je goed opletten of je alles meekrijgt wat je hebt besteld.

Binnen een paar minuten waren de frikandel broodjes klaar en hebben heerlijk gesmaakt!

Ik had gepind maar nu is er nog een 1 betaling afgeboekt van 3 kwartier eerder met een ander bedrag voor Starfood en mijn bestelling van de Ijssalon. Duur ijsje en blikje drinken. Hoe kan dat nu zoiets?

Mooie en goede zaak. Alleen jammer dat ik niet naar het toilet mocht.

Goed eten en drinken voor een leuke prijs ten opzichte van de omgeving

Redelijk eten, hygiëne helaas wat minder. Spinnen op de tafels, zwarte vuile frituur manden, etc. Er liep een nieuwe jongen, die als het vuil aan de muren wordt behandeld door een vrouw die (doet alsof ze?) de baas is. Dit deed ze met woorden die niet voor herhaling vatbaar zijn, waar klanten bij zijn. Niet erg netjes. Jongen deed zichtbaar zijn best. Ik raad deze tent niet aan.

Eten was goed. Jammer dat de bestelling niet klopt. Terug ge gaan en deden niet moeilijk.

Regelmatig kom ik bij deze snackbar. Zowel het afhalen als het eten ter plekke is goed. Goede snacks en een niet te vette friet.
