I was so happy that I could buy this cute Snoopy. The staff here are always friendly and do everything they can to ensure you have a good time, especially with the cozy autumn atmosphere 🍁🍂

I regularly come to get a filter coffee and it is often ready before it's my turn! Always friendly and helpful, great!

I have rarely seen a branch where everything runs so perfectly, the drinks taste exactly the same every time, and the staff is so professional. Today they surprised me with a Unicorn drink 😍🦄

Went here to grab a coffee and the manager was very rude and not helpful at all. The menu in Canada is quite different than here so it would have been nice to have some more helpful and kinder answers when I was asking questions. Not to mention when the manager asked where we were from and we told him he scoffed and said we have this problem with all North American people. Horrible service, like seriously no need to be rude!

Starbucks, what can you say....

We’ve been visiting Starbucks for over a decade, so this was quite disappointing. At the Starbucks in Nieuwegein City Plaza, we’ve repeatedly experienced the same issue: arriving 30–50 minutes before closing time, the store already appears to be fully closed for customers who want to sit. Chairs are stacked, the floor has been mopped (often with a strong cleaning smell), and the overall atmosphere makes it clear that customers are not welcome to stay. While orders are still being taken, customers are made to feel as though they should leave as quickly as possible. This has happened on multiple occasions. We completely understand that staff need to prepare for closing, but this is still well within the advertised opening hours and does not match the experience we would expect. What is particularly disappointing is that we contacted customer service twice regarding this issue and never received a response, despite waiting for over a month. Unfortunately, both the in-store experience and the lack of customer service have left a very negative impression.

Honestly, the staff is not friendly. The fact that I take the trouble not to speak Dutch is something you need to work on your own attitude if you don't understand. For over 7 euros, a face like that really detracts from your concept.

Various tasty coffees.. find the atmosphere very cool.

I was enjoying a coffee with my friends when an iron pole came crashing down. Fortunately, the pole only hit my back, and I got off with just a scare. The people around us saw this happen and came to help. Unfortunately, no staff came. It was busy at the time, and I understand that you can't come right away. Another customer then cleared the pole away for us and placed it near the kitchen/counter. It quieted down afterwards, but no staff came to ask how I was doing. They also left the pole lying in the way, even though it was right near them. Eventually, I walked to the counter to report it, but there was no apology. It's a real shame, because it could have ended badly. I also didn't find the employee's tone very customer-friendly. It mainly seemed like I was getting the blame. Fortunately, there were lovely customers, and the coffee was good. Hopefully, this doesn't have to happen to anyone else.

Normally I never write a review, but after the incident this afternoon, 12-3-26 at 16:30, I can't help myself. At the Starbucks Nieuwegein, we were served by an employee who clearly had no desire to work. She was cleaning when we entered and looked at us with a face that clearly said: “I don't want to be here.” No greeting, no smile, absolutely nothing. She stopped cleaning and remained standing behind the counter with her dirty cleaning gloves to take our order. She then proceeded to prepare the coffee wearing the same gloves, which struck me as anything but hygienic. While ordering, she asked if I wanted whipped cream on my frappuccino. I answered a clear “no,” but received it with whipped cream anyway. When I pointed this out, she just stared at me. No apologies, no suggestion to make a new one, absolutely nothing. In the end, I just told her myself that it was fine. Because I found her attitude very unpleasant, I spoke to her about it. Then she indicated that she did not speak Dutch and did not understand me. When I subsequently continued in English, she denied having ignored me and walked away in the middle of the conversation. The manager who came over asked what the problem was. After I had explained the whole story, his only response was: “Thanks for your feedback.” I have rarely been treated so unpleasantly as here. The staff seems to have no motivation whatsoever, shows little respect for customers, and apparently does not take hygiene very seriously either. People with this attitude simply should not be working in a customer-oriented position. I strongly advise management to take this seriously.

There is someone who wears black hair glasses when you buy from him, you think you are taking something for free or you are stealing, it is not appropriate to work in centers with direct contact with customers. I think a place other than this would be suitable for him and his own nature.

Frapucinos and juices are far too full of ice cubes. You're essentially paying a premium for ice cubes. Not tasty. Such a shame.

Good coffee, but expensive. The deal of the day couldn't be delivered, and there was no alternative. Warming a baby bottle wasn't an option either, and there was no microwave. Not even one behind the counter. The staff wasn't very helpful. It's a shame.

What a friendly staff works here in Nieuwegein. I have quite a few wishes when it comes to coffee, but the friendly man at the reception knows exactly what I want when he sees me. All in all, a nice place to have coffee!

I ordered something and said I would drink it here, so they took 10 cents for it.

Is very poor in service system, pick up and clear away yourself and still pay the main price.

Open at 9:30. Coffee machine wasn't ready yet. I had to wait another 7 minutes. Seems reasonable to me that if opening time is 9:30, coffee should be ready at 9:30.

Professional staff and great atmosphere

Not a very pleasant experience here. Almost all the specials were gone. According to the employee, it was because the season was almost over. After I told a friend I didn't like the last special on the menu, the employee recommended it instead. A bit odd. In the end, I just ordered a regular coffee from the menu because Starbucks always has good coffee. We were chatting happily with our coffee and waiting for someone when we were sent away. Half an hour before closing time, they wanted to start cleaning, and apparently not with potters present. Luckily, I've had better experiences at other Starbucks locations, so I'll keep going to those, not this one in Nieuwegein.

I was here at 4:00 PM with my daughters. It was busy, and the girl behind the counter forgot to give us the roll, and then I had to ask for the cinnamon roll we'd already ordered. No apology from her. Five minutes later, she walked over to us, "Could you please finish up, because we're closing soon?" Excuse me? Then I walked over to the counter to tell her I really didn't find the service oriented. She raised her voice, talked over me, and just said, "Yes, it was very busy." What an incompetent employee.

All sorts of pastries in the window that they don't sell or that are sold out. Then they take them away. They sometimes make the wrong coffee. They'll kindly make a new, correct coffee if you ask.

Very spacious place and very chill, almost empty most of the days. You can sit peacefully and enjoy the moment or read a book or work on your laptop.

Instead of helping a newbie make coffee, the staff are having a high tea among themselves while orders are being taken. I find it inappropriate that I had to wait 17 minutes for a Frappuccino with literally two customers in front of me🤦🏼‍♀️

The well-known Starbucks products like everywhere. Unfortunately, on a Tuesday afternoon, the hospitality is over at 4:50 PM. All the chairs are turned upside down on the tables more than an hour before closing time and the young staff are mainly having fun with each other instead of the guests.

Very good coffee, tasty cakes, unfortunately there wasn't much to choose from 😐 But I recommend it to sit and relax 😁

You do have to have the money for it, but then you get very tasty coffee. And they have nice chairs by the window where you can relax and enjoy. When we are in the city we regularly drop in.

Normally I drink espresso or cortado, but now I had a huge choice, cold or hot coffee, with milk, without, with syrup or without... I opted for a hazelnut cappuccino with whipped cream. Delicious but a bit too sweet. Next time half dose of syrup. The taste was delicious, and hazelnut recognizable. It's a shame that the whipped cream melts away quickly, that was presented better on the (sales) pictures.

Lekkere koffie, schoon en vriendelijk personeel!

Central, schoon en lekker Frappuccino.

Een bezoek aan Starbucks: primakoffie, relaxte sfeer. Geschikt voor wie gewoon goede koffie wil.

De cappuccino was erg bitter, waarschijnlijk doordat het gewoon koffie is met opgeklopte melk. Wat jammer is ook, dat je niet een klein koekje of chocolaatje erbij krijgt. Men wil waarschijnlijk dat je één van hun grote plakken cake of versnaperingen koopt. Maar niet iedereen wil zo iets groots, een kleinigheidje erbij is dan wel zo attent. En vóór de prijs die je moet betalen mag dat ook best ! Zeker omdat wij een kleine koffie namen, dus niet de Small maar een nóg kleinere beker en dan toch de prijs voor de grotere beker moesten betalen. Jammer, het personeel was wel héél aardig verder.

Weinig op voorraad en tosti moest je eten met een lepel !!!!!! Geen messen of vorken geleverd. Koffie slecht gemixed hele brokken ijs nog niet te doen door rietje ..

mooie locatie, prijzen zijn een beetje duur, jammer dat er geen toilet is. Hebben jullie een oplossing voor schuivende stoelen! Plak er iets onder bv! Vreselijk als mensen schuiven of de stoelen optillen. Gewoon een idee :) En het personeel is jong, dynamisch en vriendelijk. koffie en taarten waren heerlijk.

Was ff lekker. Ze waren meer aan het leren dan aan het snel helpen. Koekje was lekker koffie ook lekker. Jammer dat er geen wc aanwezig is.

Nieuwe locatie voor ons om te proberen. Ik mis de Nespresso cups voor de verkoop. Verder nette, moderne zaak.

Wat geweldig. Eindelijk een echte lekkere filter koffie en dan niet zo’n miezerig kopje koffie maar één van formaat. Net alsof we even in Engeland zijn weten ze hier hoe een kop koffie moet zijn. We hebben erg genoten!!!

Zier er mooi en schoon uit. Koffie is zoals te verwachten erg lekker. Prijzen aan de hoge kant.

De kids vinden de Iced Frappe-dinges en Chai Tea (dus eigenlijk "thee thee") erg lekker. Zelf kan mij daar eigenlijk niks bekoren. Leuk dat het ook in Nieuwegein zit. Hetzelfde geldt overigens ook voor de Dunkin' Donuts die verderop in het winkelcentrum zit.

Heel fijne coffee bar. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en toffe locatie om even te chillen. De drankjes zijn er perfect! Was er al een paar keer met mijn dochter en onze hond Kyro (die dan ook alle aandacht krijgt). Erg leuk en een aanrader!

Prima winkel alleen de stoelen zijn voor mij net iets te laag vanwege mijn handicap maar de koffie en de sfeer is goed

Leuke centrale plaats om koffie te wat lekkers te eten.

Belachelijk duur. Zal wel door de oorlog komen.

Mooie grote frisse tent. Leuke meiden werken er. Koffie was goed opsmaak. Als het rustig is gingen ze alles schoonmaken en de ramen boenen. Zulk personeel zie je niet meer.
