Stokjes en Lepel in Bussum Centrum

Tastes differ, I was told by the waitress! It was ramen soup where they'd forgotten the chicken. The soup consisted of water with chicken bouillon cubes, cabbage, and a few mushrooms. They admitted they had indeed forgotten the chicken. So, fifteen minutes later, a small bowl of fried chicken was brought. No compensation, just the comment that tastes differ. 🙃 Besides, the wait for your order was quite long.

I had apple pie at this restaurant today. The pie was very cold. I was very unpleasantly surprised when, while taking a bite, I found a sharp, curled piece of scouring pad in my mouth. Luckily, I didn't swallow it. The staff responded: "Oh yeah, I just cleaned the kitchen with one of those metal pads." Apparently, that's quite common in this restaurant.

A lovely spot in Bussum where you'll receive warm service and a warm welcome. Generous portions at a reasonable price. I recommend this place for a relaxed lunch, where European and Asian cuisine meet in the kitchen.

Had a delicious pizza in a nice atmosphere! Definitely recommended!

The most delicious tea and coffee, with the most wonderful homemade cakes and pastries. And a super nice atmosphere. Oh yeah, don't forget the lunch! Yum yum yum

Had dinner here with friends, it's great that you can eat here privately with a large group but the food was unfortunately really substandard. Very simple, clearly a lot of ready-made, not freshly prepared and this for over 100 pp (including drinks)! So I would not recommend making a reservation here for dinner. The service is ok but lacks warmth and coziness.

Unexpectedly wonderful experience! Because I assumed it would be more of a lunchroom, the dinner served was a very pleasant surprise, beautifully presented plates/planks with the most refined oriental and European dishes, more than enough in size (actually perfect quantities) good wine and especially a big plus for the service staff (turned out to be the owners) appropriate presence, good explanation but not too popular which you sometimes see in this region..

Cosy atmosphere and that was it. After the drinks we were ignored and after waiting half an hour we just left. Because we were sitting right next to the kitchen we got pretty crazy from the noise. The shuffleboard for the children also got on our nerves. Won't come again.

On a cold autumn day, the large cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream was delicious. As well as the blueberry bavarois! Friendly waitress (owner?) and nice colorful art on the wall (the decor is otherwise very light)

The carpaccio just came out of the freezer and that's why it looked like I was getting carpaccio ice cream. It would also contain pine nuts, but unfortunately mainly sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. See also the photo. The water had a weird 'savory' taste. Then ordered an iced tea, but it had the same weird taste. I think it was the lime. We also had to wait a long time for the food.

Today, July 20, I left with a shock, bad experience, would not recommend anyone to go there. I ordered salad with chicken, since then salad came with fish, when I said I didn't order it, she replied that I might have gone to the toilet and saw the other card, of course I didn't, in the end I have to pay and the boss literally says , pay now and leave , terrible , don't recommend anyone to go to .

I absolutely love this place. If you're looking for an affordable lunch of excellent quality, great service, and cozy atmosphere, skip the big cities and head down to Bussum to have lunch at Stokjes & Lepel. It is well worth your time.

Service and food excellent. Very tasty and fresh. The atmosphere is just not great and that is not due to the staff, but it is not my type of interior and that is fine. It's certainly not disturbing, but just too much for me.

Nice ambiance and delicious dishes with an Eastern twist. Welcoming reception and friendly atmosphere. Recommended even though it is not in a prominent place.

Ontzettend lekkere authentieke pizza. By far de beste van het Gooi. Pizza geitenkaas is aanrader. Jammer dat ze niet vaak? bezorgen...

Wow, sinds kort ontdekt dat je hier soms 's avonds ook kan bestellen en de pizza's zijn echt geweldig!

Zojuist hier gegeten. Dit was niet best. Kinder tosti. Bestond uit drie half verbrande boterhammen. Broodje makreel. Was letterlijk een vette makreel met huid naast twee boterhammen. Met wat augurk en mayonaise. Over de rest zullen we het maar niet hebben. 3 sterren voor de moeite

Kom er al jaren met veel plezier. Veel lekkere broodjes op de kaart. Voldoende keuze, yakatorisalade is een van mijn favorieten! Leuk terras

Lekkere lunch, prettige prijzen en vlotte vriendelijke bediening.

Vandaag onder de luifel met regen boven ons toch op het terras. Uiensoep. Ub sandwich. Frietjes. Thee en koffie Leuk dat het eindelijk weer kan

Heerlijk gegeten toen ze in onze straat stonden met de caravan. Toch een beetje een 'uit eten-gevoel' in corona-tijd. De koffie is trouwens ook erg goed.

Lekker eten. Redelijke prijs. Goede bediening. Ik kom er al jaren.

Leuk tentje, veel keuze op het menu. De kipsate is heerlijk en een goede portie. Terrasje voor de deur in een gezellige winkelstraat.

Koffie niet bijzonder het gebak een tegenvaller. Was echt niet lekker. We hadden de peren taart en de bruidstaart deze was, te droog bisquit, te weinig rood fruit en de boter crème was veel te stevig al met al geen goede keuze. Leuke plek vriendelijk personeel.

Leuke zaak, vriendelijk personeel, maar duurde lang voordat we aangesproken werden en uiteindelijk duurde het krijgen van ons eten ook best wel lang (39 minuten vanaf de bestelling). Breng daar wat snelheid in en het is een toptent.

Super gezellig. Heerlijk warme chocolademelk met slagroom gedronken. En pepernoten gekregen van 2 hele lieve pietjes.

Heel erg lekker eten. Er hangt altijd een leuke sfeer en het personeel is heel vriendelijk. Voor de koffie echter hoef je hier niet te komen.

Donker interieur, relatief dure koffie. Meubels zijn aan vervanging toe.

Prima plaats voor koffie en meer. Gastvrij!

2x toe vergeten om ons te bedienen omdat wij buiten zaten. Jammer. Verder leuk

Altijd gezellig, na de markt een bakje koffie bij Ling :-)

Lekker geluncht,de verse kroketten met brood zijn erg lekker,ook de cappuccino smaakt goed.Verder goede bediening en vriendelijk personeel.

Hoge kwaliteit, goede atmosfeer.

De Kapelstraat is de horecastraat van Bussum. Helaas is op maandag iedereen gesloten. Dat geldt niet voor de horecabedrijven in het winkelhart van Bussum zoals Stokjes en Lepel in de Nassaustraat. Ik was er vaak langsgelopen en het viel me op dat het terras altijd goed bezet is. Dus toch maar eens op dat terras een kopje koffie gaan drinken. En ja, de koffie is prima maar er is meer. Diverse soorten gebak en een uitgebreide kaart met broodjes en salades. Bijzondere biertjes hebben ze ook. Feitelijk zoals het aanbod van een Brasserie hoort te zijn. Maar opvallend is het interieur van Stokjes en Lepel. Gezellig, sfeervol ingericht met aan de muur een collectie kleurrijke prenten van Corneille. Dave, de eigenaar van Stokjes en Lepel, is een verzamelaar van het latere werk van Corneille en deelt zijn passie voor deze kunstenaar graag met de bezoekers van zijn brasserie. Het terras is een aanrader maar loop ook eens naarbinnen en geniet van de kunst.
