A super warm welcome, quick service, and delicious food. Pleasant atmosphere and surroundings. We had the mezze tapas with meat and fish. A delicious selection of dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed. Afterward, a tagine was too much for us, so we ordered another platter of mezze tapas. The sweet Moroccan dessert was also delicious. The only drawback is that the tables are a bit small for two large round platters. The tables for two are quite close together. This could also be a nice way to chat with the neighbors.

Good and tasty food. Wide selection. There was no seating inside, but they turned on the heaters outside for us. Friendly staff. Definitely worth going back.

A warm welcome and service. The interior is okay, although the worn seat covers could use replacing. The menu is excellent with plenty of choices. The salmon tagine and mezze tapas were delicious, spicy, and a bit hot. The food was excellent for a reasonable price. A real disappointment: the 9(!) euro charge for a bottle of water was absurd. Overall, a great experience.

Sultani Zutphen consistently delivers quality. The service is fast, even during peak hours, and the orders are always correct. It's nice that the staff consists of familiar faces – that creates familiarity and trust. A well-organized and reliable establishment.

I recently ate here, and it wasn't my first time. The food has been better. But the waitress made a fuss about it with my specialty coffee. She apologized, of course, and I didn't get angry, even though it was annoying and everything was dirty. You'll get new coffee, though. Apparently, I should have made a fuss, because the two special coffees costing €22 were still on my bill. What rudeness to the customer. I later filled out a satisfaction survey upon request, but they didn't respond. So, this review to share this extremely disappointing experience. A night out was thoroughly ruined. I won't be returning.

We had a truly delicious meal. The tagine, paella, and main course salad were absolutely delicious. The desserts were also delicious. Sitting inside was no problem, even though we had our dog with us. The staff were incredibly hospitable and attentive. Highly recommended if you're looking for something different!

My girlfriend and I ate here last Friday. We had the mixed grill and meat tapas, both absolutely delicious. The Moroccan wine was also excellent. We sat outside on the terrace, nice and warm, and despite being the only ones there, we received excellent attention throughout. The service was fantastic: both the friendly female and male servers made it perfect. We never had to wait long. Highly recommended, we had a fantastic evening!

What a lovely restaurant, and what lovely, welcoming people! The food was truly delicious. The chef had no problem accommodating our dietary requirements (gluten-free and lactose-free). The service was also very friendly and attentive. All in all, a wonderful experience. Since we had a day trip to Zutphen planned last weekend, we thought it would be a good idea to dine at Sultani again. It was fantastic again.

Would’ve loved even more almonds in it though! 🧀 Mixed Appetizer Platter(3/5) Honestly, it looked a bit underwhelming for the price — mostly salads — but the flavors were great. There was just one piece of each item, so it would've been nicer to have a few more bites of things like the spinach rolls to share. Delay There was a bit of a delay with our orders, but the staff handled everything with such professionalism, kindness, and charm that we didn’t even mind! 💫💁🏻‍♀️ Overall, we really enjoyed everything and would love to come back to try more dishes! 💛 Highly recommended if you’re into flavorful, comforting meals with a twist! 🌿🍴

Had a coffee/tea with cake here. A carrot cake and chocolate cake. Can honestly say that these were some of the best cakes we have ever had. They are made by the restaurant itself.

An asset to the Zutphen terraces, where you can imagine yourself abroad for a moment on sultry summer evenings. The deliciously fragrant food is well-seasoned and you are -as a local- in your mind on holiday for a moment. We sat on the terrace, which is really great. However, the adjacent terrace of Camelot is so equipped with heaters and other padding that it is almost impossible to approach that atmosphere to the maximum. The friendly staff helped us well and the portions were fine. The pizzas are also good in this Turkish/Italian restaurant.

Don't understand the reviews. First ordered 2x a pornstar martini. One comes. Then the other is made. Different color composition... Then the food...well...ordered a mixed mezze platter. 20 euros. Haven't eaten so "mhah" in a long time. The atmosphere in terms of sitting is a nice place. But hey...you sit somewhere for the food and drinks. So unfortunately not anymore.

Heerlijke lunch met tajine van lamsvlees met pruimen, abrikozen,amandelen en de ander koos voor een vlees bord. Een schaal een variëteit van kleine gerechten. Today I had a delicious meal with my parents at Sultani Zutphen. There is a quiet, pleasant and cozy atmosphere. The food was fantastic. Both soups are full of flavor and we also enjoyed the tagine very well. There is plenty of choice in starters, main courses and super super delicious desserts. We ordered several because we couldn't choose. The portions are also nice and big. Our compliments to the owner, chef and employees. Thank you! We would like to eat here more often.

A beautiful building, beautiful interior and nice atmosphere and nice service, but the food is not really Moroccan. The couscous is dry, not steamed in the tagine but made separately and then served in a tagine with the sauce on top. But the worst thing is the bread with the mezze, a white roll instead of Arabic flatbread or Turkish bread if necessary, that is really not possible. The couscous was also barely seasoned, too bad. But if that doesn't really matter to you, you can sit comfortably in a beautiful setting.

For My mother's 80th birthday had a delicious meal here with family... extensive selection of starters and various meat and fish dishes as the main course. A cozy atmosphere, very friendly owner, nice decor and simply delicious, varied Moroccan food as it should taste. The waiter recommended a Moroccan red wine with the food, which we were a bit skeptical about at first, but we soon came back from it...it was a super tasty wine! We had a wonderful evening.

We were able to dive into Moroccan cuisine and feel a slight taste of Morocco thanks to the atmosphere and music around. We ordered seafood tagine, baklava and konafa with Moroccan tea. Everything was very tasty. The service was on a high level as well. We will definitely come back.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Bij ontvangst kregen we een mooie plek aan het raam en zijn vriendelijk geholpen door het personeel. Er is een ruime kaart en de porties zijn echt zeer fatsoenlijk. We hadden een voorgerecht als hoofdgerecht wat een prima maaltijd op zich was en een 'normaal' hoofdgerecht. De gerechten zijn een mooie balans van geurige kruiden en fijn eten. Als met al, samen ook met de desserts, een heerlijke een stevige maaltijd.

Very tasty food. Special and refined flavors. The mezzes are varied, everything homemade and delicious. The lamb is extremely tender and slides off the bone. Generous portions: it was enough for two people. Ezzes and 1 tagine are more than enough.

Had something to drink on the terrace during the Christmas market. No table service, I think due to staff shortages. So you have to go to a central bar for your drinks. Tables are therefore not cleared. That wasn't in the summer.

We eten vaker bij Sultani en komen daar iedere keer met veel plezier terug. De maaltijden zijn heerlijk en met zorg bereidt. Ook voor koffie met gebak kan ik dit restaurant aanraden, persoonlijk nog nooit zo’n lekker stukje appelgebak gegeten! Ja, voor ons absoluut een adres waar we graag komen, zeker ook voor de gastheer en het vriendelijke personeel. Een aanrader!
