Great sushi, the service is a bit makeshift, the place lacks atmosphere. But I go there for the delicious sushi.

The great sushi was really delicious! And if you want to eat badly, McDonald's is at the end of the street.

Top service & delicious sushi! Received the wrong sushi, but after contacting them by phone, they simply brought the right sushi and I was allowed to keep the wrong one!

Very bad experience. We ordered sushi and after eating, my grandma, my sister, and I all developed stomach problems. We are convinced that this is due to the sushi; this is very annoying, and we will not order from here again. I hope that the quality and hygiene are seriously looked into.

Unfortunately, we haven't been satisfied lately. Yesterday's order took far too long. After calling multiple times, there was no clarity, just waiting. Fortunately, it was eventually delivered, on a weekday after a 2-hour wait. The quality has also been better in the past. It's a shame, but we prefer other sushi restaurants in Den Helder where this is actually in order…

The food was acceptable. But we had to wait about 30 to 45 minutes per round for our food. The delivery was more important than the people in the restaurant (we were also the only ones in the restaurant). And even the deliveries took a long time. Many people called to complain that it was taking a long time. And then, to top it all off, the delivery drivers parked their bikes right in the middle of the restaurant while we were eating. And as the icing on the cake, birds came inside and no one paid any attention to it. Sorry, for us, one time and never again. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED!!

Food arrived 2 hours after ordering, hot food is cold, not recommended.

Sushi Den Helder offers free delivery and takes allergies into account. You can indicate in the comments for the poke bowl, for example, that you would like it without edamame due to an allergy, and they will take care of that. Delivery is always handled properly, but can take a long time; allow at least an hour, and if you order through their own website, you will receive an extra discount.

The sushi was tough and not very fresh. My order was also incomplete. Very disappointing.

Sushi Den Helder is highly recommended. The sushi is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, clearly made with care. The service is friendly and attentive; you are helped well without feeling pushy. The delivery is also top-notch: neatly packaged, on time, and the quality remains excellent during transit.

We ordered at 21:15 and it arrived at 22:30 and it was inedible even then and we called but they said it was on its way but it wasn't

Sushi super fresh again.. the delivery driver called me politely to say that they hadn't given him any change and that the order would be delivered a little later, I think that's very nice.

We think this is delicious sushi! Friendly people with tasty food. You can sit down, but the ambiance isn't great. The food and service make up for a lot. For takeout, this is really great. Good quality. Sashimi and crispy rolls are our favorites.

The delivery was fine, right on time and friendly...but the sushi was terrible. The rice had no flavor and tasted like rice porridge. The rest of the flavors were bland and some were off. The appetizers were plentiful but small, usually two on top of each other or next to one. A family menu was okay in terms of quantity. Size and price...No, once, but never again.

I ordered two things from Sushi Den Helder. Now, an hour and a half later, there's still no delivery driver. It's outrageous; I can't contact them at all. It says it's been 20 minutes, it's almost here. I don't know what they're doing in the kitchen. This is very bad.

Didn't get food and when I called they were busy.

Situation: Delivery completely spun out of control. Waiting time was over two hours. Communication was zero—the phone was off the hook, connection impossible. Product arrived cold. Corrective action taken: used a microwave to restore heat capacity. Final conclusion: I traveled to the location myself, completed the mission single-handedly. The supplier was put out of commission.

Delicious sushi, nice and fresh!

I had to wait two hours for my order. Upon arrival, the sushi was completely mixed up and the yakitori skewers were cold. I called to discuss this. It took half an hour before the phone was answered. I was told it was due to the high demand. I told them that if I paid €40, I should receive proper products, otherwise I would receive a refund. The only compensation offered was a discount on a future order, without any confirmation. When I expressed my disapproval of this service, the woman on the phone was very unfriendly. Such a shame.

Still no food after 2 hours... Order canceled and refunded through UberEats. Better to order somewhere else where they'll actually bring your food!

Ordered sushi and some other things. It was delivered an hour after ordering. Excellent. Half of the order was forgotten, and they said it would be delivered as soon as possible. It happens, of course. Then it took quite a while, which can also happen when it's busy. Finally, the rest of our order arrived. It was cold! Such a shame. This is the last time we ordered from here.

Had an excellent experience at this restaurant!!!! I ordered food yesterday and wow, they really took care of it. The food was delicious and it arrived quickly... Definitely worth repeating.

I ordered and half of it didn't arrive! When I call the store they call me a liar!!!!!! Customer unfriendly very present. I really don't think it's right! Instead of them doing something about it I can now be fined for the mistake they made and caused!!!!!!!!!!! Never again!

Ordered via home delivery. Wrong sushi delivered. This has happened before. Then you call and are treated unfriendly. More than an hour later we concluded that they no longer deliver the right sushi at all. While cheaper sushi was delivered than the one I ordered. In any case, prices have risen sharply and the price-quality ratio is out of balance. Received my order more than 40 minutes later than stated. This was the last time I ordered sushi here.

A cozy restaurant with delicious sushi!

The food was tasty, but they forgot half of it and they didn't bring it back and then they didn't answer the phone.

Normally I always get my sushi here. But the last 2 times it wasn't good.. also you can't pay by card anymore.

We ordered sushi here and unfortunately it was not as expected. The ''warm'' dishes, such as spring rolls, shrimps, etc. could have been tasty, but arrived cold. We ordered the crispy chicken and crispy tempura rolls and you couldn't taste any difference between the two, and the taste that was there was mediocre. Both also contained avocado, which was not listed among the ingredients and we did not like. The only plus point is that the food arrived on time. All in all a disappointment and wouldn't order from here again.

Picked up "Sushi for you", taste was good/sufficient. Unfortunately they forgot to add soya sauce.

Just picked up my order and was very disappointed at home. The shrimp in the wok had been fried for too long, they were bone dry and tough. I opted for sweet chilli sauce, I don't know what she put in it but it didn't taste like anything. The flamed salmon and dumplings were very tasty. It's really disappointing to me, I've never had any problems in the past, but this is a bit of a shame. I don't think I'll order here anymore

Always satisfied when ordering from Sushi Den Helder, but the quality is no longer what it used to be. Tried again last week, but not worth repeating. The tuna smelled strange, had a strange color and on the nigiri the tuna is so thin that you can see through it. From now on I will be a customer at Sushi and Bowls, less choice but much more quality!

Salmon was okay but overall the sushi smelled like fish, which it shouldn't. The tuna came from the freezer, hence the brown color. Not a fan.

First of all very cozy atmosphere. As second and the most important- food ! Everything very delicious and nice served. Very friendly and smily staff. Really recommended all you can eat evenings with drinks ! 🫶🏻

Very bad experience with Sushi Den Helder even though I often order here. Order was incomplete and the hot sushi was lukewarm/cold. Contacted the owner and she rudely dismissed me and I was quickly done with it. After an hour my chicken had not yet been delivered, I contacted again and received the answer "you wanted to leave it in anyway". Was supposed to get my money back and this didn't happen. I submitted a complaint to Thuisbezorgd and they contacted Sushi Den Helder and I received my money back within 3 days. So a tip for if it happens again. It's all very unfortunate.

I was picking up my order and drove home, then we found out that a mistake had been made with the order for the sushi box, we called and said that we live half an hour away as I only like sushi chicken. They thought along with us and provided great service. We drove to us to still receive the correct order with some extra. Really great service, very happy with it

Had sushi delivered today on Christmas Day. Delivered on time (despite the Christmas rush). Ate delicious fresh sushi. Recommended !!!

Vaak besteld, altijd op tijd en heerlijk eten

Als mijn verloofde en ik sushi in Den Helder eten bestellen we altijd hier. Soms via de website, soms Thuisbezorgd. Het restaurant vinden wij niet enorm sfeervol, misschien wat meer op social media doen om de tent vol te krijgen. Ik heb oprecht nog nooit een negatieve ervaring gehad met dit bedrijf, en we bestellen toch echt zeer regelmatig sushi. Ze houden rekening met wat je aangeeft en is er een probleem dan lossen ze het met je op, alhoewel wij eigenlijk nooit problemen ervaren met Sushi Den Helder. Al met al een enorme aanrader om hier je sushi te halen!

Trotz anfänglichen Kommunikations-Problemen ein Besuch wert. Wir haben das All-you-can-eat-Angenot dienstags genutzt. Wir essen sehr gerne Sushi und haben uns schön voll gefuttert auch wenn einzelne Bestellungen womöglich günstiger gewesen wären. 😅 Es war alles frisch und Handmade, kam zeitnah an unseren Tisch. Die Bestellung lief über das Handy und hat sehr gut funktioniert. Preis-Leistung stimmt aus unserer Sicht. Abzug gab es nur für die Lage und die Lokation. Das Lokal ist leider in einer Hintergasse versteckt und der Innenraum ist etwas sanierungsbedürftig aber für uns war es dennoch ziemlich romantisch da wir fast die einzigen Gäste waren😊

We hebben echt heerlijk gegeten! Alles was super vers! Dikke 10!!!

Altijd bestellen we hier en nooit klachten. Helaas vandaag echt niet lekker. Vooral de gefrituurde hapjes waren niet ok. Oud vet wellicht?? Jammer had zo’n zin in lekkere sushi.

Eten was lekker ma bediening ging het wat minder. 1 pers.voor een volle zaal ging het traagjes

De sushi was heerlijk echt niets op aan te merken, vond alleen de keus vrij beperkt, vooral van de warme gerechten.

De sushi hier is heerlijk, wel zelf afhalen want bezorging is drama soms. Ene keer wel op tijd, maar ook meegemaakt dat ze 2,5 uur te laat waren en dat je een grote mond krijgt aan de telefoon of ze liegen over wanneer het bezorgd wordt.

Lekkere sushi, maar geen gezellige sfeer. In juni hangt de kerstversiering er nog. Je kan het beter bestellen.

Sushi smaakt goed en systeem van bestellen via de telefoon werkt prima, maar sommige foto's kunnen beter. Personeel is heel vriendelijk en doet haar uiterste best om zaken verder te verbeteren. Ze hebben wat mij betreft de gun factor.

De kwaliteit is redelijk, niet heel bijzonder. Voor afhalen krijg je behoorlijke korting, dat maakt de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding acceptabel. Ter plaatse eten zou ik afraden. Zeer verouderd interieur, niet representatief personeel.

Via social deals gingen we hier eten. All in. T was erg lekker en wat 'n aardige dame, die ons hielp. Vriendelijk enthousiast en behulpzaam.

Eten en drinken laat heel lang op zich wachten

3 Sterren omdat het "gewoon oke" was, en graag verbeteringen zie in de organisatie van Sushi Den Helder. Via Socialdeal voor slechts €16,- p.p. onbeperkt sushi gegeten, wat natuurlijk ook erg goedkoop is. Dit is wel een beperkte actie, en voor de volle mep zou ik toch meer verwachten. De smaak van sushi was over het algemeen best wel goed, eigenlijk niks te klagen. De gefrituurde garnaal was ook erg lekker en super krokant - stukke better dan vele andere restaurants. Er werd ons gevraagd toen we gingen zitten wat voor drinken we wouden. Besteld, maar na 40 minuten nog geen eten of drinken. Daarna een andere medewerkster gevraagd en kwam vrij snel daarna. Frisdrank was helaas wel lauw - het kwam uit een normale plastic fles en waarschijnlijk (nog) niet gekoeld. Je moest bestellen via je je telefoon via een website, maar dat was erg karig. Ten eerste vind ik met je telefoon aan tafel al een beetje ongezellig - een gezamenlijke tablet (van het restaurant) wat je vaak ziet is nog tot daar aan toe. Het aanbod qua menu is wel een stukje kleiner dan vergelijkbare restaurants, en de foto's waren eigenlijk gewoon rondom slecht (zie foto's). Veel gerechten hadden geen foto, geen beschrijving, geen passende naam of een combinatie van die drie. Ik ga er toch vanuit dat er vást wel iemand is in het restaurant met een moderne smartphone die redelijke foto's kan maken? De foto's zijn ongescherp, namen passen niet in de breedte; een beetje karig/slappe manier om je lekkere gerechten te presenteren, toch..? Het bestellen van de sushi ging in principe prima, maar de warme gerechten was minder. Geen enkel warm gerecht, behalve de gefrituurde garnaal, van ronde 1 of twee zijn gebracht. Er werd toen verzocht om alle warme gerechten nogmaals te bestellen; vervolgens worden OOK alle gerechten van ronde 1 en 2 erbij gebracht. Smaakte wel oke, maar de organisatie van hun kant mag wel wat beter helaas.

Vanavond absoluut heerlijk gegeten bij Sushi Den Helder. De ontvangst was welkom en vriendelijk. Toen ik na afloop degenen die het eten bereiden bedankte trof ik een multicultureel team aan. Uit de onderlinge communicatie uit de keuken vandaan konden wij opmaken dat het team heel relaxed is met respect voor elkaar en liefde voor hun vak. Mijn vriendin is ook een topper in de keuken , vind ik zelf, en sushi besteld zij het liefste bij Sushi Den Helder. Wij vernamen dat je bij Sushi Den Helder sinds kort ook kunt eten dus hebben wij daar meteen gebruik van gemaakt voordat het volgeboekt is. Echt alles wat wij bestelden was heerlijk.
