Sweet Ima in Wijk 01 Gorinchem binnenstad

De binnentuin is een heerlijk plekje om in rust even wat te eten en te drinken. Vriendelijk personeel en goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.

Best place in town. An oasis of quality in the provincial town of Gorinchem. Entirely supported by a group of motivated young women and mothers. Sweet Ima also has a bakery and much more. Open from early all day until 5:00 PM and it is always pleasantly busy.

Pleasant combination of shop and lunchroom

Service is getting worse each time we get there. Waiting staff also prepares the food, so a lot of issues with basic dishes and lack of hygiëne from the looks of it. Food offering hasn't changed in 5 years. Coffee was mediocre. Prices too high. Last time we're eating there.

Lekkere koffie. Mist bij de lijst koffie en theezaken. Zeer de moeite waard! Lekkere zelfgemaakte gemaakte gebakjes.

Maybe because it was almost 2:00 PM (closing time), but we didn't feel like we were welcome anymore. Demotivated staff who make you wait 20 minutes before you can order, half of it was already impossible to order and the sandwich for € 7.40 was very poor. Too bad, because there is potential. Fussy perhaps, but don't put a cleaning bucket from the floor on a tray and then serve it again :(

Very cool from 7:00 a.m. there is breakfast and especially coffee. After the walk with Easy, my path leads here, while my wife continues to stay in the land of dreams. I had a latte with cake for breakfast. Both great. This will be my standard from now on when we are in Gorkum.

Sweet Ima is a lunchroom with a very nice appearance. The breads and treats are home-baked. Very good service and delicious croissants. Highly recommended in Gorinchem!

A pleasant and delicious lunch for a good price!

What a beautiful spot in old Gorkum. Here you can have a traditional 'coffee' for not too much money. Just have coffee and a pastry or eat a croissant with a cup of tea. The major disadvantage in Gorinchem is that parking is a DRAMA. You have to provide your license plate (WHY???) Then you have to wait 5 minutes (really) until you receive a message that your license plate does not exist (funny, because the road tax knows). There was a line at every parking kiosk with people trying to get a parking ticket. This has nothing to do with this restaurant, but everything to do with the greed of the Gorkum municipality.

Nice and relaxed place to have a coffee and something to eat. There is a large selection of pies and fresh croissants and even very nice sandwiches and other options.

The 2nd most delicious cheesecake (Citon-Quak-Tart) I have ever eaten! There are also delicious coffees and very friendly staff. They also open at 8:00 a.m Perfect for sitting inside or outside. When we lie here in the harbor, it's a must to wake up every morning.

Full ball on King's Day, but still friendly and efficient

From the outside it seemed like a cozy place with beautiful and tasty pastries and bread. The menu included a sandwich. And given the appearance, I expected a "peasant bread" with cheese and ham. When I was given a resuscitated pita sandwich on a plate with some cabbage I understood what "pita grilled cheese" really meant. At a Donner-Kebab shop you would have thought "okay, that's possible..." This was where I was disappointed. Employees who behind the cash register with their backs to the customer take plenty of time for minor internal struggles also did not contribute to the atmosphere. It could have been a snapshot. It really disappointed me.

I was here last Saturday, ate and drank something, then got severe diarrhea and the service was so terrible that it was truly shocking! A cause that also supports a gen0cde and declares p٨l3stاjnish resistance as t٤rr0rأst also says a lot about how you act as a cause against your so-called fellow man!! I became terribly ill, you will never find me here again!!

Would not leave my money here. The owner is extremely racist and publicly share their hatred on social media. The food sucks too, by the way.

Nice Flat White. The cakes were good, fresh and not cloyingly sweet, so fine, but for my personal experience a bit "bland" in taste.

We had a nice cup of coffee here with apple pie and lemon pie. Both coffee and cake were delicious. We sat on the small terrace outside, inside it has a living room feeling.

Very nice and cozy tent with a living room feeling. Homemade pastries from the adjacent bakery. The Carot cake is especially recommended. A wonderful place to relax for a while.

Very expensive, not the best cheesecake I've ever had. Fairly tough soil. Had to wait a long time at the checkout.

Had a very well organized and delicious high tea at Sweet Ima. We were a group of 13, but it fit perfectly around the large table in the middle. The ladies were all equally attentive, the quality of the food was great! In short, highly recommended 😊.

I went here for dinner with my parents. The atmosphere was not pleasant at all. The owner Ima was very rude to a lady with a headscarf who was eating there with her husband. The lady left the business very sad together with her husband. After that collision and what I've seen, I advise people not to come there anymore. I don't dare to say it, but the owner has something against Muslims. For me and my parents, never again.

Sehr schönes Café mit köstlichen Croissants, guten Kaffee und netter kleiner Speisekarte. Die Kekse die zum Kaffee gereicht werden sind unfassbar lecker, die Scones sind nicht klassisch, sondern eher süß interpretiert, unbedingt das Lennon curd probieren, welches dazu gereicht wird

Een soort veredeld koffiehuis met mogelijkheid tot lunch. Viel erg tegen. Mijn man had scrambled eggs. Daar zat kraak noch smaak aan. Ik had een Italiaanse tosti. Door de pesto smaakte die nog ergens naar. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar

Heel goede sfeer Moeilijk om hier iets te kiezen,want écht alles is heerlijk. Even een poging.... Kaneelcroissant, vegan taart, slice of heaven en broodje Sweet Ima zijn favoriete dingen. En sojacappuccino en amandel iced latte...De producten ( en personen) hebben geen poespas. Dat vind ik leuk.

Hightea gedaan bij Sweet Ima ,was erg lekker,verse producten uit eigen bakkerij. Thee was onbeperkt . Leuke sfeer . Vriendelijke bediening . Wel reserveren vt voren . 26-06-23 weer geweest ,was lekker weer !!

Hier een high tea genoten. Hapjes waren zeker lekker. Jammer: alles werd in 1 keer geserveerd, stadstuin niet overal schaduw waardoor de hapjes smolten, continu geluid van een of andere airco / machine, theezakjes ipv losse thee. Voor wat je kreeg prijzig.

Oude bakkerij in hartje Gorinchem. Heerlijke koffie en lekkere bollen met humus. Je kunt er ook buiten zitten en een glimp opvangen van de vaarweg naar de Linge haven. Vriendelijke bediening. Daar houd ik van.

Overheerlijke high tea gehad, met hartig en zoet. Thee naar keus (je krijgt een pot met water en je kunt zelf zakjes thee uitzoeken). De taartjes en hapjes en broodjes zijn super vers. En je hebt echt voldoende hieraan! Gezellige ruimte waar je kunt zitten. Voor herhaling vatbaar. Ook voor lunch of koffie met wat lekkers

Erg jammer taart besteld en opgehaald. Was opeens 3 euro duurder dan op de website. Prijzen waren al een maand veranderd. We moesten de duurdere prijs betalen. Daarnaast zag de taart er anders uit. Geen bloemen erop die wel op de afbeelding stonden. Werd niet klantvriendelijk op gereageerd. Teleurstellend

Ik kom hier al heel lang en best regelmatig. Hoogtepunten: -de croissantjes , probeer een keer de kaneel smaak! Fantastisch, wel vroeg komen of bestellen, anders zijn ze vaak al om 10 uur op😊 - thee of cappuccino met een van de huisgemaakte gebakjes, brownie of merengue… ook de scones met lemon curd zijn heerlijk! - heerlijk desem brood - de zakjes met browniekontjes!

Beste in Gorinchem❤️ koffie is lekker, veel soorten VERSE gebakken. Ik kan er echt van genieten!! En er werken daar leuke mensen! Ik voel me daar altijd welkom❤️

Leuk sfeertje, alles uit eigen bakkerij en overheerlijk. Je moet geluk hebben om hier een plekje te bemachtigen, wat betekent dat het echt goed spul is wat je hier kan krijgen. We liepen er (nadat we er zelf geluncht hadden) nog verschillende keren langs op een zaterdagmiddag en het bleef vol zitten. Dan doe je het als zaak erg goed.

Als je nog nooit bij Sweet Ima bent geweest, is je leven niet compleet. Geweldige producten uit de ongewoon creatieve geest van een vakvrouw.

Best place in town to have coffee, breakfast or lunch. Lovely food: great coffees, tasty bread, do not forget to try the pancakes, scone or muesli bowl. Good atmosphere and pleasant owner. Surprisingly affordable.
