Proper pub. We walked by and stopped in for a beer. The landlady suggested we joined the company out in the seating area by the canal. We had a lovely chat with the Friday night locals who made us feel welcome, great to meet new people. Even some Brexit supporting Dutch folk! Well kept draught beer, met the long time landlord, a lovely guy who knows what makes a hostelry work evidently.

Had a nice party for a colleague who turned 30. Had football snacks because the Dutch national team was playing that evening. The snacks were a tasty sausage platter and some bitterballen. Just a successful summer evening.
