We were helped by Myrthe, on her last night. She's going to work in elderly care, and they'll be so happy to have her there! Attentive, helpful, good advice (Sjoom), assertive, and, very importantly, humorous. Thanks for the wonderful evening, and best of luck!

The food was fine. We found the service less so. Yes, it was busy, but that's how it's designed. There was hardly any clearing of dishes, and there was usually at least 30 minutes between courses, often longer. Luckily, we had a good time, but still.

We went here for the first and last time last Friday. We were there from 6 to 10 and had maybe six rounds of food. It took an awfully long time to get our food. Dishes were forgotten or never brought. I ordered fries with peanut sauce four times and never got them. I also thought the portions were really small for tapas. I ordered chicken satay and got one piece of chicken in a container. We went home hungry. We still had plates from three rounds left on our table, but they never came. I advise everyone against going here! Unfriendly staff!

We ate at 't zus last year and really enjoyed it, so we made a reservation here again this time. Unfortunately, yesterday's experience was completely different. It took ages to get our first dish, which was thrown on the table by unintelligible staff. Around us, we also saw many people waiting at empty tables. The food was unfortunately disappointing compared to last time. The pork belly was delicious, but probably almost gone, as it was such a small piece (2 cm) that the plate had to be filled with a spring roll. Our conclusion: you go out for dinner for a fun evening, and the food, the experience itself, should enhance the atmosphere. This time, we did our best not to let the experience spoil our evening. Unfortunately, we won't be back.

The first impression was good; it looks cozy. The first round of food arrived quickly. After that, it took quite a while, which wouldn't have been so bad if the food were delicious. We were a bit disappointed. Everything tasted pretty much the same, as if the same spices and sauces were always used. Some dishes were very bland. There was no salt or pepper on the table, which was a real shame. You won't see us back here anytime soon. The benches could also be a bit more comfortable.

Initially, things didn't go well, and it took an hour and a half to get our second round reservation. This was ultimately resolved very well by the staff.

We ate with 12 people. It took quite a while between rounds of tapas. The food was good, as was the service. A mistake was immediately corrected.

For my mother's birthday, twelve of us went to dinner at 't Zusje in Doetinchem. We really enjoyed it. The table was divided into two so that six people could order dishes. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The wait times between courses were also reasonable. We had a wonderful evening with delicious food. The only downside was that there were city festivals, and early in the evening the music outside was very loud, which echoed inside. This wasn't the restaurant's fault, but that's why I've deducted one star for atmosphere.

Everything took ages. Long waits for drinks, menus, and food. Every order was missing or incorrect. The food was fine, not spectacular, but that's not necessary with this concept. The atmosphere is also great. I hope this was a one-off due to staff shortages or something. But it will be a while before we try again.

Never again. We waited over 45 minutes for our starter. Then we waited another half hour for the next course. Even when only two tables were occupied, we left after over half an hour and didn't wait for our ice cream. We went home with a half-full stomach and feeling unsatisfied. The little we did eat was good. But you won't see us there again.

The food was otherwise fine. It was what we expect from a sister restaurant. However, there were quite a few dishes that we weren't always informed about. The service was absolutely not what we expect from a sister restaurant. No bread was offered. After the first round of drinks, we weren't asked if we wanted anything else. The time between rounds was at least 45 minutes. It often took at least 20 to 30 minutes for the note to be brought back. We had to ask several times to clear the table. The ladies taking orders, in particular, were often nowhere to be seen for extended periods of time or stood chatting/waiting at the bar. These ladies certainly didn't clean up. After reporting all this, my husband asked after 30 minutes what they were planning to do about it. We eventually received financial compensation after walking to the bar ourselves. But we didn't feel heard.

We had a reservation here at 5:00 PM, with apparently a lot more people who hadn't been anticipated. Unfortunately, after half an hour of watching, we decided to leave. No one had come to ask us for drinks, let alone explain the concept. It was a shame for the one waitress who was walking around and apparently had to cater to the entire restaurant, but we decided to leave on an empty stomach.

We wanted to eat tapas today and stumbled upon this restaurant! The terrace was empty, and there were plenty of free seats inside as well. We are German citizens on vacation in the Netherlands. Upon arrival, we were kindly informed that the restaurant was fully booked. We inquired about this, both inside and outside. We could hardly believe this, as no one was sitting outside. But even after asking again, we were turned away. We then sat in the restaurant next door and couldn't find any seats at the Zusje that evening. Despite our vacation, we dressed up and had a very respectable appearance. This rejection must have something to do with our background (German language) or our 5-year-old son. In fact, I have never been turned down like this in my life, and I am shocked. This photo was taken two hours after our inquiry.

Pleasant atmosphere, tasty dishes.

The first round of food was fine. There was very little, for example, the so-called spareribs were two small pieces of meat with a lot of sauce. The second round was terrible. First, we waited 45 minutes for a couple of ice creams, then we asked if they were being made or if something was wrong. She said they were working on it. After an hour, we asked again, and she said she'd enter it into the machine again, but we didn't want to and wanted to leave. We asked for the bill, and it showed we were still charged for the ice creams we never received. We said "diet," and she took it off, and we left.

Went to 't Zusje for dinner in Doetinchem for the first time. The manager gave us a fantastic welcome and was incredibly helpful and looked after us all evening! However, when I went to the restroom, I heard the owner (?) talking to the manager... disgusting! There was a very unpleasant atmosphere the entire time this gentleman was there. It was also noticeable how this gentleman interfered with the staff's work, which he then made three mistakes himself. What I found most peculiar was how he started helping out with the service. He wasn't wearing work clothes and kept walking around with some kind of ridiculous headset, trying to be interesting. The food was mediocre and there was very little of it. The service staff, including the manager, of course, looked after us exceptionally well! Unfortunately, we've decided not to spend our money there again. We also advise the staff to find employment elsewhere, where respect is highly valued.

We had a great meal. The snacks came at a nice pace. Service friendly. Absolutely top.

Cosy, good quality food. Original, wide and diverse range of smaller dishes. Friendly service. Quite expensive but worth it in my opinion. Also been to 't Zusje Zutphen a while ago. Exactly the same menu there.

Had a delicious dinner tonight at 't sister in Doetinchem. Friendly service, delicious dishes and a pleasant atmosphere. We regularly return to our sister's house. Last year it was perfect too! They had a bad period for a while, but they are back to their old level. Highly recommended for a delicious Burgundian dinner there. Serve a small portion of fried croquettes separately, otherwise the crispy crust will become soft. Finally, thank you, manager Rene, for your good solution. We will definitely come back again!

The kitchen is open until half past 11. Then you will be the last on the ground floor. Then they feel bad about continuing to walk. But busy talking about things among themselves. They keep a tripod for the receipt.

My daughter (11) wanted to go out to dinner with her boyfriend at her sister's house. Super nice idea and I thought that's an experience, I'll just allow it now, especially since you can now pay per round. So we quickly made a reservation and explained the situation. 3 laps max because she could afford that. They thought that was so much fun that they offered an extra round for free for these children who would like to do it themselves. Super service and super fun! Unfortunately the party was canceled at the last minute. I will leave the reasons aside for now. But to solve some disappointment, I decided to go with her and take my other child (19) with me to make it something special. So I quickly called and changed the reservation to 3 people and made it a normal reservation. Still, I really appreciated the offer and felt it was a shame that their idea couldn't go ahead. In the end we had a super fun evening. The food was tasty, the staff was friendly. My daughter was treated well. Even if there was an error in her order, this was resolved quickly. I really don't understand the complainers. Yes, when it was very busy we sometimes had to wait a little longer for a round. But we were there from 5 to 9 and had 7 laps. 40 minutes for a round with dinner time and waiting time at busy times is really not that bad. It's not about stuffing food, but about having a nice meal and talking to each other. So people from 't Zusje... thank you very much for the nice evening. And for thinking along in advance. Worth a 10 from me

Food was really tasty, service certainly friendly and they regularly pick up our order, 4 stars for the food because of some things that are warm that should not be warm (salads, apple sauce, etc.)

It was great, but some things were warm that could be better cold (apple sauce) and the water in the bottle when you open the bottle and want to pour it flows over the entire table, the rest is great 5 stars (Ps the ice cream with whipped cream is delicious, really great)

Look after! In case of allergies and intolerances, DO NOT choose 't Zusje! Much of it is a false sense of safety (the diet cards, for example) and most employees' knowledge of allergens is seriously substandard. The mean thing about it is that they present themselves as if they are good at taking things into account. The other service in Doetinchem also left much to be desired (long >1.5 hour wait for drinks and new tickets). Busy or not busy, 1.5 hours is really too long. The tables around them were helped, but it is very annoying anyway if there is a big difference.

Took a very long time before the next round was recorded, like an hour. I also just had to search for an employee to take a drink order. Enjoyed 2 drinks throughout the evening. The food was very tasty, but the time between rounds was really too long.

Yesterday we went to Zusje's for dinner. It was very tasty and there was a wide range of tapas. To our surprise, they came to the table with balloons and a voucher. What turned out? We were the fifteenth reservation and the food and drinks were free for the entire table. Top!!

Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time for the "courses". After comments from us, things went a bit better. Food was good!

The food is very mediocre, the concept is chaotic and the service is also difficult to keep up with if you eat with a large group. Even the coffee came from a broken machine. Drama.

What a wonderful evening we had at Het Zusje in Doetinchem! The desserts were absolutely fantastic, with a wide choice of delicious options. A very nice concept where you can enjoy all kinds of small dishes together. Perfect for a night out with friends! Time flew by thanks to the cozy atmosphere and good service. Definitely recommended for anyone who likes good food and a relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely come back!

We won't go again, the food is really delicious. But still an old-fashioned system with ticket collection. The boy who picked up the tickets went home at 9:30 PM while there were still people with tickets on their tables. We just went home. Because the wait for the ticket to be picked up took forever from 9:30 PM.

Uit eten met collega's maar echt geen succes. Lange wachttijden en slechte bediening. Na 1,5 uur de eerste ronde mogen ontvangen(lees voorgerechten). Meerdere malen drinken niet geserveerd, zelfs na aangeven aan de bediening (stond wel op de rekening!). Na 5 rondes worden bijgerechten gratis, maar met veel moeite deze rondes kunnen halen. Uitserveren duurde veel te lang, ondanks meerdere malen aangeven. Veel excuses. Ober aan de tafel deed het wel leuk, eten redelijk tot goed. Niet heel bijzonder.

After a negative experience in the past, we went for a second chance on Saturday, November 30. Unfortunately, the waiting time between snacks was far too long. The dishes themselves were delicious. A lovely hostess who did her best and even offered a free drink to compensate for the long wait. I think the ordering process could be a bit more practical. All in all, not recommended on a Saturday evening. According to the hostess, Thursday evening or Sunday evening is a better time; the lead time then seems to be better. Because the taste of the snacks was good, we might try that sometime.

5 stars for the atmosphere because everything looks nice and neat. 4 stars for the food. The flavors of the dishes are all really delicious, but the portions are very small. You need many rounds to eat enough. Therefore 3 stars for the service. In the beginning it is easy to collect orders and serve them, but after 5 rounds it becomes slow. Orders are traditionally placed on a card, after which they collect it. From 5 rounds onwards you eat 'free', so there is less need to serve you quickly. So book in time so that good eaters also get their bellies full

We had a delicious meal. The service was disappointing. In large groups the service is poor, snacks are delivered to the wrong table. We had to wait a long time for drinks.

We were not very impressed with 't Zusje in Doetinchem. The waiting times between rounds were really too long even though the restaurant was far from full. We cannot escape the impression that this is done consciously, because with the drinks you are already asked if you want something to drink when you have just swallowed the last sip. We filled in the note immediately every time the letter stand was placed on the table. When we started there were five notes on the table. When these ran out we asked for new notes, but these were also 'forgotten' at first, which again took a very long time. The (occasionally very small) dishes were quite tasty, but the term 'Burgundian Enjoyment' is really a bit too ambitious. No, this happened to us once, but next time we will definitely choose a different tapas restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly by the way.

Nice meal. There were some reviews about the slow service. That was certainly not the case with us. Enter on Sunday at 6:00 PM. The 5th round served at 7:20 PM.

We sat on the attractive terrace with a group of colleagues 😊 we were helped by a grumpy young lady. At first she was alone in the ministry. It took an hour for the first course to arrive and it was lukewarm. We said something about it and then the food came more quickly. The service remained unfriendly. Shame

Update: neatly picked up by the owner, they called today + said sorry and offered us appropriate compensation. Very neat! Unfortunately, the Doetinchem sister will never be available to us again. We arrived at 7:00 PM, got drinks after half an hour and only had two rounds at 9:00 PM. At 10:00 PM three/four rounds further, the last warm round was finally passed. Arrived at 10:35 PM, we still wanted two rounds of desserts as we had to wait so terribly long and we had to make it so late due to problems in the kitchen, we were told that unfortunately that was not possible because they were closing. After consultation with the manager, it was allowed. Final score: from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM waiting to get some money out. Not hospitable, grumpy service. We will never go here again.

Food was tasty but small portions. Be careful when eating with children. Our 2-year-old child had only participated in 1 round, but the other rounds were also calculated further for him. This made his mini dishes extremely expensive! We reported this when paying, but they apparently thought it was normal. It's strange when you give two types of notes. We often eat at 't Zusje, normally always good and cozy, one of our favorites. This time it took a bizarrely long time before we got our food. Only after an hour of waiting did we get our first round, and the rounds after that also took a long time.

Was good, but missing the loose salads

Went to dinner with my sister Doetinchem last Mother's Day. We thought it would be full and were therefore very surprised by the fact that we could reserve a table 1.5 weeks in advance. Even though it was not busy we had to wait a very long time for our orders. The empty plates/bowls remained on the table for a very long time, often even until the next course was served, and we had to ask for a new drink ourselves. The staff undoubtedly did their best, but they seemed very inexperienced, which meant that we left the restaurant with a bitter aftertaste. To end on a positive note, the food tasted great despite the long waiting time!
