What an atmospheric experience, with super delicious dishes. The service was super friendly and helpful.

They have a really fun formula. With tapas, you can choose three things each round, and that's for 5 rounds. But if you want more, no problem. Everything was delicious.

We had a delicious meal at t Zusje. What a lovely atmosphere downstairs in the wine cellar. Friendly staff. Naomi, the girl with the dark hair, was very helpful.

The food was delicious, the staff were fantastic, but it was incredibly busy, and because of that, the acoustics were truly awful. We were seated downstairs, in a sort of basement, which again had a wonderful atmosphere (a bit Harry Potter-esque, our son said), but the acoustics were truly intense. If you're sensitive to that, I'd definitely advise against eating there on a weekend evening. It's a real shame, though: beautiful place, delicious food, and incredibly sweet people. But for a highly sensitive person, it's a bit much. 🙈 Still, I definitely recommend it, but I'll try it on a less busy evening next time. 😅

The music needs to be turned off. Horribly meaningless, flat, fake plastic junk with a beat. Furthermore, the Coq a Vin looked most like a seagull crushed by the Oosterscheldekering, in a bucket of wet snot. Overall, it was a bit disappointing. The tenderloin pieces were excellent.

A warm welcome and excellent food – the atmosphere depends on where you sit. We were greeted politely and given a clear explanation of how everything works. There were two of us and we were assigned a high table. Fine for a short visit, but after an hour, it became a bit uncomfortable. The food was good and the service friendly. The atmosphere inside is certainly pleasant, especially at the front of the restaurant or in the basement. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we couldn't sit outside, which would have added to the ambiance. On our way home, we both unfortunately had stomach problems. We don't know if it was due to the food, but it certainly put a damper on an otherwise pleasant evening.

Amazing! Delicious food, super nice interior, and very cozy. Definitely recommended. They use slips of paper where you have to check off what you want; when you run out, you get new ones. This is really convenient, because it means you're not constantly looking at your phone or tablet to order. The food is truly amazing!

In itself tasty dishes. But some portions are small and therefore overpriced. The atmosphere and service are good. We only had to ask often if we could order another drink and the dessert (which is also a fairly small portion) took 30 minutes after the table had already been cleared. Maybe give it another chance at another location because the concept is fun to try even more snacks from the menu.

First time eating at 't Zusje. I knew the concept, but from La Cubanita. What a beautiful place, fantastic service and delicious snacks. We sat in the beautiful cellar, with low round ceilings. It was quite busy, which made the noise level very high at times and we had a hard time hearing each other. We will definitely come back.

Echt heerlijk eten bij ‘T Zusje, maakt niet uit welke locatie maar ze zijn allemaal echt TOP! Service is altijd echt fantastisch en de medewerkers zijn super vriendelijk. Het restaurant was overigens zo druk, dat het echt wel heel lang duurde tot we ons eten kregen. Maar als dat het enige minpuntje is, valt dat goed mee!

One thing to keep in mind: it’s a busy place, so you absolutely need to reserve a table a few days in advance – usually 2–3 days ahead. Otherwise, you likely won’t find a table, but it’s well worth the effort! The bustling atmosphere also means it can get a bit noisy with families and groups, but it’s never been uncomfortably loud. I always go for the tapas – I’m not sure if there’s another menu, but the tapas alone are fantastic! They offer a really interesting mix of dishes, from classic tapas to more creative, seasonal options. Each visit, we try something new, and there’s always something fresh and delicious on the menu. Even the classic dishes are reworked with a modern twist that keeps things exciting. They use premium ingredients, and you can tell from the wonderful combinations and flavors. The pace of the dining experience is perfect for a relaxed evening out – you order a round of tapas, and it takes about 10–15 minutes for each round to arrive. It’s not a place to rush through a meal, but rather somewhere to slow down, chat, and enjoy the evening. It’s ideal for a night out with family, friends, or a romantic date. We typically spend about 2.5 hours there, like our last visit from 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm. The food has always been served perfectly – never cold, raw, or overcooked – and it’s always a delight. I can wholeheartedly recommend ‘t Zusje to anyone looking for a great dining experience and an evening of delicious food and warm atmosphere.

Cosy and nice restaurant. Staff is quick and hard working. However, the food is below standard. Several dishes were lukewarm / cold (while they were supposed to be warm). Taste is very flat. No special flavors… It also took an average of fifteen minutes before we had our tapas. You can only tick 2 and the tapas are small… In short: if you want to have a nice drink; nice location: I would skip the food. We will not go to 't Zusje again. First time and last time for the food.

Beautiful and large location of 't Zusje, on the Vijhestraat in the center of Harderwijk. In addition to the ground floor, there is a beautiful terrace (on the city wall with a view over the water) and a cellar. We were in the basement (beautiful old and atmospheric vaulted space). The quality of the service and dishes is excellent (as you would expect from this chain). We had a delicious meal here and enjoyed the nice atmosphere!

We came for dinner on a Wednesday evening. We received a warm welcome and friendly service. We sat downstairs, it was quite chilly and noisy, but we had a great seat. However, we had to wait more than an hour for some rounds. Also in the dessert we found a piece of plastic and a piece of chives? Unfortunately it was not the experience we had hoped for. Lots of bread with the dishes, which is a shame

The food arrived almost cold and some meals arrived differently than the menu said. Spicy salmon, for example. Or pancake that you could throw through a window. Ultimately, I left disappointed after 2 rounds. When asked if the food was tasty, I of course answered no. After a requested explanation, I received almost a €50 discount. All in all, an experience I won't do again.

Gisteren met een groep van 8 personen wezen eten bij 't Zusje in Harderwijk. Dit was simpelweg een verschrikkelijk slechte ervaring. De acoustiek in de kelder is werkelijk zo verschrikkelijk dat je degene naast je al nauwelijks kan verstaan. Iemand tegen over ja aan tafel lukt ook al nauwelijks meer. Dus voor de gezelligheid hoef je hier niet te gaan eten en voor het eten ... ook al niet. Het concept met 'Hollandse tapas' is best leuk, maar de kwaliteit is gewoon ronduit slecht. Te veel mensen bij elkaar in een groot gebouw met een keuken die op niets anders is ingesteld dat productie draaien. Niemand die op de kwaliteit of smaak let dus alle goed ideeen ten spijt die waarschijnlijk heel goed waren toen de plannen voor 't Zusje werden gesmeed. De uitvoering is gewoon beroerd. Als klapper op de vuurpijl krijgt iedereen ook nog een doosje met meuk bij de koffie. Wat een verspil zucht! Dit kan toch gewoon niet meer anno 2025. Doodzonde. Gebruik dat geld dat om 1 lekker goede bonbon bij de koffie te doen ipv dit. Het is mijn tent in elk geval niet en je zult er mij ook niet meer terug zien.

Had a nice meal at 't Zusje in Harderijk. It is located in an old building and upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and guided to our table. We also received a brief explanation about the building and the cellar where we had dinner that evening. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We would go back for that alone. The toilets very clean and the food was also very tasty. Despite the crowds, the food was served quickly. You order in rounds and you pay an amount for this. If you go more than 4 rounds, you pay as if it were unlimited. Please note, this is based on a pleasant evening where you enjoy the surroundings and the food with your table companions, so no all you can eat sushi practices 😁. We will definitely go back again.

This sister in Harderwijk is perfect. Compared to its sister in Deventer, because that is our frame of reference. Service friendly and fast. Quality dishes absolutely delicious. 1 but........ First of all, very tasty food. Everything we tried on the menu was good! Service completely good, nice and friendly people. Sometimes a bit of a long wait for the dishes, but it wasn't disturbing. The only downside is that it was cold in the area above the window. Tip: take the failed apple cake!

TL;DR If you have a weakness for mediocrity, your heart beats faster from uninspired dishes, and your soul's desire is for yet another culinary copy from touristy Randstad, then you should definitely not miss this place. In detail It's rare that we leave a restaurant saying, "Well, that was the worst." But on this occasion it was unavoidable. Although the service did its absolute best and everything seemed to run smoothly, that was one of the few bright spots of the evening. The highlight? The warm water in the toilets – an unexpected luxury that almost turns washing our hands into a ritual. After more than two hours of dining and tasting about twenty tapas dishes, the evening fell apart into a series of disappointments. The flavors ranged from downright unpleasant to barely acceptable. Not a single dish made us want to repeat it. Perhaps the most memorable was the jalapeño bitterbal, but even that says more about the rest of the evening than about the bitterbal itself. The dishes were invariably provided with what I like to call "Randstad garnish": an unnecessary, uninspired decoration that irritates more than it surprises. An example? A piece of salmon with a soggy blob of spinach and a dreary tomato. Better give me a simple pinch of salt. And the so-called "loaded fries" – a brown, vegetarian mess where the concept of 'french fries' was hard to find. No fries, no rendang, just an indefinable brown mass. And then the spareribs. An almost unmarinated meager piece of meat, accompanied by a barbecue sauce-like red substance that evoked no association with the name "barbecue". The rib was poor and the sauce was a major failure - a combination that is certainly not worth repeating. The restaurant professes noble principles on its menu such as: "Waste of food is a shame [...]". Ironically, a rigorous reduction in the tasteless garnish would have prevented a lot of waste. A simple dish, with optional sauces and salt/pepper on the table, had already made a world of difference. To my surprise, I later saw on the website that "children's tapas" were available. They actually seemed attractive – perhaps because simplicity is the credo here. But even that I no longer trust these masters of mediocrity. The beer list? Non-existent. The choices? Stunningly limited. In short, it was an experience. But next time we will skip this place and resort to a Japanese or wok restaurant. At least there they know how to serve an all-you-can-eat meal tastefully and without unnecessary fuss. A simple cucumber sushi sometimes says more than a thousand words.

The house rosé was delicious, perfect to start the evening. The only downside was that the pork tenderloin was a little too dry, but otherwise everything was to your liking. The atmosphere in the basement was a bit noisy, but fortunately it seems to be quieter upstairs, so next time we will try to sit there. All in all we had a fantastic evening and we will definitely be back. Het Zusje is highly recommended for those who want a nice meal with good service and a pleasant atmosphere!

Upon entering you pass the cloakroom. You also have a wardrobe downstairs in the basement. Afterwards it was better to hang my coat downstairs, but I didn't know in advance where we were going to sit. We were given a place in the basement, it was quite chilly at the beginning of the evening... and it was quite echoing because it was full of people. Walking past some tables to get to the toilet was also a challenge. Because some chairs were on the walkway. In my opinion the basement is too full... Next time we will indicate in advance that we would prefer to sit upstairs. The concept is very nice and the servers Rowan and Rowin, together with the others, provided a top team. They regularly asked if there was enough to drink and took away empty plates, glasses and bottles. Delicious food...

It was just barely thrown on the table, and the dishes were largely not identified as to what they were. The staff at other tables did a better job! Maybe the hustle and bustle was a bit too much for her. We were in the basement; it was very noisy there so we had difficulty hearing each other. When it became less busy later in the evening, things went better.
