We had a wonderful lunch on the terrace. The service was friendly and very attentive. The lunch dishes were delicious.

We thoroughly enjoyed a delicious lunch here this afternoon. Aan de Bock is a beautiful restaurant with expert service, a wide menu, and superb food with excellent value. Highly recommended!

The food is fantastic and delicious. The desserts are even a bit excessive, but still tasty. The atmosphere is village-like, where everyone knows each other. It's clear that this part of Geleen has its own unique vibe. It's all a bit pricey, though; smaller portions and corresponding prices would also be possible.

Had a lovely lunch with the two of us. Flatbread with goat cheese and our table companion flatbread fish, looked well presented and tasted very good. Cozy place, tastefully decorated. Nice staff, we will definitely come back!

Food is okay but nothing special, the pork belly is tasty. Service grumpy (except for the young lady with long blond hair, who is friendly and nice). No carafe of tap water to order (phew!) and not even cognac on the menu. In any case, drinks are served with far from a generous hand. Interior boring & completely unimaginative. Atmosphere cold. Menu written in an extremely strange way with tiny letters & words in foreign, almost impossible to read. Price-quality ratio is hard to find (apparently everything revolves around money here). In short: an anything but pleasant evening. What particularly bothers me is their Facebook page. For months now you have always been shown photos of the same very young people (including staff members) at the table, with a really disgusting commercial text above them, e.g. 'with whom are you coming to taste / enjoy / blah blah ...?' So you wonder whether people over 25 (and especially people over 60!!) are actually welcome at the restaurant. The same applies to people who want to eat alone. No, apparently you have to be very young and there are four of you to be welcome there. In an article by De Limburger, the current owner is quoted just before taking over Tant Marie: 'little will change in the concept, perhaps a touch of Bie de Boswachter'. Well, nothing could be further from the truth, in fact they have changed everything as thoroughly as possible, or rather, turned it upside down. The new owner has also taken over the reviews of Tant Marie without mentioning that it concerns Tant Marie, which is downright confusing (and absolutely not nice). From now on we will just have a nice meal with the neighbors across the street.

Top restaurant and top service!

Not as tasty as the constable's. The veal escalope with chimmichuria was particularly disappointing, tasted nothing and was not eaten. The beef with pepper sauce was delicious.

I had received a gift voucher from 'Aunt Marie', the predecessor in this business. However, I had not noticed that the owner and name of the business had changed. I wanted to make a reservation, the phone number was on the gift voucher. However, I got the new business on the phone (so they had taken over the telephone number). They were very friendly, I was able to email them the information and they would forward this to the previous owner, because it was a large amount on the voucher. No sooner said than done, but I sent several emails and they never replied to my many emails. So it was the easy way to end my call. Very unfortunate, and not neat....

Well, it's all fine to eat, but everything from the open (kitchen) comes from a vacuum bag and is heated up... the (kitchen) staff is very busy with everything except being a cook. We ate here several times because the location is supper, and the waiting staff do their utmost and are very knowledgeable. But... after another break on the super cozy terrace with ditto entourage, I still ordered a (fine) drink. Add a cheese board, and guess what... 4 wafer-thin pieces of cheese and a board full of arugula for 15 euros... sorry. For us, the next transaction will go to a different account...

Cozy terrace. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. The service is friendly and fast. Delicious dinner and fun to enjoy a last coffee in the evening sun afterwards.

Unknown before, but most certainly worth a return. The good weather helped, but being able to sit outside at a small townsquare without noisy traffic is just one of the benefits of 'Aan de Bock'. A nice daily changing dish, or a very agreeable menu, whatever your choice ... meat, fish, and vegetables all covered at reasonable prices. And I can assure you, the meat was done in every way that I like it. The drinks: nonalcoholic or with, your choice. Very nice people who look discreetly at their customers, just to make sure you have everything you need, and not just to sell you something. In short, one of those nuggets that you definitely want to return to. Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you again.

Ate at the bock, top service, great chef, what that man makes is out of this world, eaten everywhere, even at restaurants with 1 and 2 stars, this was an experience, delicious

It was bad the first time, but not a second time for us. The host is very irritating, next time we will go to the neighbor over there, it's great.

Lovely lunch with my son at noon. We were able to sit outside on the cozy terrace, we were helped quickly and friendly 👍🏼 We chose a flatbread souvlaki and a goat cheese salad; both dishes were super tasty. The meat (souvlaki) was well seasoned and wonderfully tender, the portion was nice and generous💪🏼 The salad was very well filled with a variety of ingredients: different types of nuts, beetroot, tomatoes, fried mushrooms, of course goat cheese and a delicious dressing😍 Served with a few slices of delicious bread: mmmmmmmmmmmm In short, highly recommended, both in terms of food and certainly also the service!

Nice try but too bad... Since Tant Marie stopped, things just aren't the same anymore. Unfortunately, we are going to take the "aan de Bock" off our list. Where we were always treated so nicely and passionately, it seems to have become cool and cold. Such a shame. Some things you shouldn't want to change.

Fine, price quality is ok. A letdown is that they don't serve a carafe of water. You have to order bottled water. If necessary, provide a carafe of excellent maternity water from Geleen and charge something for it, as 99% of the restaurants do.

The meal with the 2 croquettes was quite adequate for that price. Salad was terrible. Wilted lettuce and the tomato looked like it had been out of the refrigerator for 2 days. Unfortunately I can't post the photo. I also find it very reprehensible that people dare to serve it like this.

What a surprising evening. We just thought we would grab a bite to eat. Never been here before. If we could wag our tails, we would. What delicious dishes. Delicious soup of the day, asparagus soup. People next to us ordered another starter and we actually wanted to intervene... GET THE ASPARAGUS SOUP. The main courses: sea bream with mustard sabayon. Perfectly fried and perfectly cooked vegetables. The grilled veal oyster, also simply perfect. Delicious wine with it. Simply delicious food...10.

Very nice business that has been transformed in a short time into a leading restaurant in Geleen. Staff is friendly and food is very good! The owner really gives a personal touch to the restaurant. We would love to come back again soon.

Restaurant Aan de Bock opened a few weeks ago. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the decor is attractive. We enjoyed an extensive lunch. First a leisurely drink, then a cheese board, then tasty lunch dishes such as flatbread with chicken strips and a fish salad. Finally, sweet dishes: a mango stick and passion fruit pastry. Slow shared lunch that took us about 4 hours at leisure. Very pleasant service.

Last night we had dinner there for the first time with the new owners.. where Aunt Marie disappointed us compared to the previous concept.. we are now completely happy again :) It is a cozy and atmospheric restaurant with delicious dishes. Which are beautifully served. Friendly staff. Recommended! The lunch menu also looked good, we will definitely come back..

The store is very attractive and sleek, everything is coordinated. The coffee is very tasty and the price-quality ratio is more than excellent. In addition to the large cup of coffee, you also get a cookie and whipped cream with a liqueur for € 2.80. To be repeated! :)

Opened Aan de Bock today and had dinner there with my son. It turned out beautifully and the food was more than delicious. Nice and friendly staff. Everything was just right and they deserve a 10. An asset to Oud-Geleen!

Goed en betaalbaar eten! Toppertje voor de regio Sittard-Geleen. Weinig die het nog zo doen!

Gezellig en heerlijk restaurant. Lokale gerechten uit grootmoeders keuken zijn de basis van de kaart. Verder geen poespas maar Limburgse gastvrijheid. Aanrader.

Hier eten is altijd een feestje…. Ook tijdens de feesrdagen.

Altijd gezellig zitten zowel buiten als binnen met liefdevolle bediening en heerlijk eten.

Een drukke gelegenheid. goede sfeer met nog beter food. Iets langer op het eten gewacht omdat de kok maar alleen in de keuken stond. Geen probleem. Hier komen we graag terug.

Bitse en chaotische bediening. Toch ook wel eens naar tevredenheid hier getafeld...Gelukkig zijn er andere eetgelegenheden nabij.

De sfeer was heel gezellig en vriendelijk …personeel heel aardig…het eten was heerlijk… mijn vader van 87 jaar wilde morgen weer terug komen , want de biefstuk met genoeg groenten was zalig….Maurice echt TOP!!!!

Heel gezellig bijzonder lekker gegeten en heel fijne bediening.

Soms moet je zaken niet vergelijken met hoe ze eerst waren. Tant Marie doet dat echter zélf door te refereren naar de zaak die ze eerst was: "Het Kleine Verschil". Ik snap niet dat deze referentie nog steeds gevoerd word want het is een groot verschil met "Het Kleine Verschil" - het eten is er gewoon niet zo lekker meer en als het eten tegenvalt dan mag de bediening nog zó aardig zijn, maar dan gaat de sfeer ook naar de knoppen. Zoals gemeld: bediening hartstikke aardig. Idee: gewoon verder gaan als Tant Marie en dat concept-gedoe laten varen, dan zullen mensen ook niet meer vergelijken met hoe de situatie 2 a 3 jaar geleden was.

Prachtig mooi van binnen. Netjes. Als enige opmerking is de trap naar boven voor het toilet. Deze is smal, geen aanrader voor mij( m.s). Ik vond hem akelig.

Verlaat Moederdagetentje, maar voor een maandagavond zitten hier nog behoorlijk wat mensen, een goed teken. Na het doornemen van de verschillende gerechten bedluiten we toch voor het ‘restjes-menu’ (juiste naam schiet me niet meer te binnen). Het zijn echter verre van restjes! De carpaccio is heerlijk, de zalm fors en ongelooflijk goed bereid en ook het mango-taartje met blauwe bessen en frambozen (met bolletje ijs) smaakt prima. Zeer goede keuze voor een schappelijke prijs!

Vandaag een high-tea genoten met 8 personen (met de nadruk op genoten). Meer dan ruim voldoende uitstekende lekkernijen, geweldig personeel.

Ел один раз конечно, но очень вкусно.) сервис очень приятный, приветливый и учитывая что меню на Нидерландском, не переживайте, обслуживающий персонал предложит вам помощь в переводе на английский) и кстати очень уютно, приятно посидеть в созданной ими атмосфере) в общем то, спасибо 😂 я не мог на самом деле остановиться, когда кушал своё блюдо. Спасибо огромное, доволен так не был давно. Спасибо! ❤️

Zeer vriendelijk en gemoedelijk personeel en prima verzorgd en lekker gegeten.

Paaszaterdag heerlijk gegeten Bie Tant Marie. Eten net zo lekker als vroeger en een voordeel de prijs is ook als vroeger. Heerlijke gamba’s en mosselen vooraf gehad. Als hoofdgerecht vispotje en vis van de dag, en als afsluiter en heerlijke kaasplank met portje. Op naar de volgende keer😉

Heel leuk restaurant, zeer vriendelijk bediening en verrukelijk eten.

Lekkere en uitgebreide high tea gehad, het restaurant heeft de uitstraling van een gezellige huiskamer. Kan dit zeker aanbevelen!

Heerlikke bospaddesteulsop (sop van de daag), tournedos met champignonsroomsaus met gebakke erpelkes en heerlijke verse greunte, en es toetje de koffie van tant Marie. Ut waor heerlik! De vrouwluuj in de bediening waore zeer opgewek en ut leek waal femielje es of veer der al jaore komme. Toppertjes zeen ut.

Heerlijk gegeten, konijn zoals mijn moeder hem maakte. Verrast door veel mooiere ambiance als verwacht (door fb foto's).
