Fantastic place, the great rating is no accident. Traditional Thai flavors, the food is impeccable, the pad thai is incredibly delicious. The lady is very cute and funny, hats off to her for running the whole restaurant by herself. I visited the restaurant for the first time in June. Then I returned to Rotterdam in October and knew I had to go to this fantastic pad thai again. I traveled half an hour across town, but it was totally worth it. 😊

Had dinner here last night before going to a show at Theater de Schie. The 2 of us had reserved a table just to be sure. Reception was fine. It is a small shop but very atmospheric and full of Thai atmosphere. As a starter we had the Tom Kai soup with chicken and spring rolls. These were both really delicious! As a main course we had the Pad Thai and the Nasi chicken. Lots of it and soooo tasty! We took it home with us because we couldn't finish it. The owner runs her business with her heart and makes you feel welcome. We hope to go to Thailand for the first time this year and she gave us tips and was willing to provide detailed explanations. Then new customers came in and she had to move on. This is really a gem in Schiedam. Do you want fresh, good and delicious Thai food? Go here!! We will definitely come back! We found it by accident, and it turned out to be a hit! Great pad thai in every respect! A great atmospheric restaurant, full of Thai culture everywhere. The food was delicious, prepared quickly, the portions were huge and fair in price, and the service was nice and attentive. Definitely worth recommending!

We ate here with three people on December 12, 2024. The food was really delicious!!! Each dish is prepared fresh per portion, nothing from large pans that have been ready for ages! We each had a different dish so we could taste each other. The chicken with cashew nuts was my favorite. Really authentic Thai flavours. The owner is a very enthusiastic woman who serves cheerfully and explains what it is all about. Too bad we live 240km from Schiedam, but otherwise we would come back here very regularly. What a great tent! Came here for a quick bite to eat after a performance at the Schie theater and ended up having a hectic birthday party with an owner who wanted to take a picture with us to hang on the wall! But above all, a super delicious meal!

Authentic Thai food. The lady who runs the place is very chatty and funny. She is also very sincere: we wanted to order more food but she said it would be too much, and when we tried to order “spicy food” she recommended less chillies (which was a great call). People seem to come here for take away more often than sitting down, so the restaurant does have that take away vibe. Nonetheless, the food tasted amazing! The lady also seemed super happy and grateful to hear that.

It is absolutely perfect and delicious. But if you prefer not spicy - just ask and your meal will be not so hot. Highly recommend.

Sadly i didnt took more pictures (and better) of the other dishes we ordered but the food was delicious. We went on a monday and there was just the owner working. She was hilarious but also kind. Most thai food is supposed to be spicy, however since our spice tolerance is low, she adjusted the spice level for us 😂 Would definetly come back here again. Everything is super affordable, a bang for your buck! We ordered the springrolls, fish cake, pad thai chicken, chicken sate, a green curry with rice and tom kha kai.

So everything is really freshly made. Spring rolls delicious, papaya salad yummy, fresh shrimp soup and chicken with vegetables and noodles easily digestible. Owner spontaneously entertaining and eating. Simply delicious. A big 10.

Got food for the first time today. The chef / owner showed us that all dishes are made fresh and immediately - nothing is prepared. We ordered five dishes (2 soups, 2 salads and a phad thai) and everything tasted wonderful. Definitely recommended and we will definitely come back!

Look, the owner is Thai and you notice that: she is direct and can come across as blunt. But man, she can cook. I also enjoyed the direct interaction with guests, playful and occasionally mocking with a wink. All in all, fun (provided you don't take yourself so seriously) and delicious food. Best Pad Thai I have eaten outside Thailand and better than many in Thailand!

They were at the table in less than 10 minutes. I have a spicy chicken main course but I only want half. No problem at all, she takes the other half to go. Can I have some very hot sambal? Really freshly made 3 minutes. Top top company and surefire for Schiedam 10 stars as I know. Would be nice with soft music on

Delicious food and perfect portion sizes for a nice price. The entire restaurant is run by the owner (I think?), who is kind but very busy (stressed?) with running the restaurant. During our time here, half a dozen of people came in who all seemed to be locals that frequented the place and visibly cared about the owner and the restaurant. This says something about the service and friendliness of the owner. :)

really an asset to Schiedam. the busy owner/hostess/chef goes all out to serve you a delicious dish... “everything fresh”, and that is not a lie. Don't be put off by her Rotterdam directness, but go along with it and you will have a wonderful evening. the portions you get are definitely more than sufficient and price/quality here is really what an economical Dutch person would like to see. you feel like you're in a Thai street food shop, it's just right. certainly worth repeating, but this can lead to addiction... so be warned.

Gem alert. This is the most amazing Thai food I have ever had outside of Thailand. For being a regular visit to 'the land of smile', I can tell that even within local standards, this is a great restaurant - authenticity is 10/10. The owner is amazing, please give her a call before you visit her restaurant.

Food might be amazing. We never got to try the food, however, since a staff member started to shout at us directly when entering 'no reservation, no space' or something alike and looked like they wanted us out as quickly as possible. You could've also just said: I'm sorry we're fully booked. Both me and my friend were flabbergasted by this reaction. Hopefully you learn from it.

What a nice restaurant Teppratanporn is. I ate here for the first time tonight (I work in Schiedam) after it had been on my radar for a while, and I should have gone in much sooner. The green curry had such a nice taste, with delicious Thai basil, beans and peppers. The beef could have been more tender, but still tasted great. Oh man, I'm still enjoying it now (after 3 hours). The lady who runs Teppratanporn is a busy, but pleasant lady who does not shy away from a (Schiedam's cheeky) joke. "I told you it's spicy, haha!" she said repeatedly to the Eastern European couple sitting two tables away. She is both a cook and a hostess, so whenever she brings dishes to a table, I hear her telling guests who have just walked in that she will be right there. Teppratanporn is a small eatery with 4 tables (16 chairs), but the hostess/cook is very busy. In all that haste, she still manages to serve the most delicious dishes. An art if you ask me. As far as the decoration is concerned, I understand that other reviewers are less enthusiastic about it. Lots of white and bright light. But then you've never been to Asia. These are often the best dining options. And it is also beautifully decorated with plants, candles and Thai Buddha statues. The atmosphere is great because of the hardworking, super sweet hostess/cook! I'll definitely go there more often, for sure!

Som Tam very tasty, lots of flavor and very spicy. The fish cakes also tasted good, but a bit on the dry side. The lab seemed to have sugar in it. That was a real shame.

A hidden gem in the heart of Schiedam! The taste is authentic & everything freshly prepared. Price is reasonable, the quality is much more worth it than you paid for. Patience is needed when there are many customers because the owner does everything by herself. But the delicious food makes you forget all the waiting. One important detail: the cook doesn't use MSG. Otherwise you'll get thirsty. On the photo it's not the full portion. I forgot to take it when the food arrived.
