Flat White was alright. Didn't expect much when it came to cafe in this small town. Don't expect it to be good, then when you have your coffee, you'll be satisfied somewhat? Space is tight so beware, unless it's a nice day out and you lounge outside.

A nice place to be. This time I had to wait a while for someone to answer. Apparently, I was a bit invisible. The coffee is always good, and I also had a delicious cake.

We stopped here for a quick afternoon snack and were delighted. The cappuccino and pastries were delicious, and the service was very friendly and attentive.

Delicious!! We had this breakfast for €5 per person! The toast was delicious: you could taste how fresh everything was. Highly recommended! Arrive before 9:54 and get a free drink. We also stayed at a nearby B&B and paid just €10 for everything.

I have a memory of how this place use to be. And I keep coming back thinking it will be like that, but it just keeps getting worse. 4 years ago it was 10/10 now it's a rip off.

Right in the center of Den Burg. Small menu, which isn't a problem. It does take a while, though. The coffee is good, and the lunch dishes are equally good.

The friendly, young staff gives the whole shop a wonderful atmosphere. The new barista, Nowel, not only makes great cappuccinos, she also gave me a great coffee recommendation. Highly recommended ❤️

The cappuccino was 10/10. The chai latte was very poor; it was just milk with a bit of cinnamon. It had no chai flavor at all. The staff was friendly and fast, though.

We've tried this place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we've had a great time every time. The pastries are excellent: bread, pizza, croissants, and the meat dishes.

We went here there times during our holiday. First time lunch and drinks, second time lunch, drinks and dessert. All the food is really good with vegetarian and vegan options. The staff are really friendly and helpful too. We need to go back to try the other menu items!

Very nice delicious spot. Fresh bread available. We have ordered eggs, tosti and limonade. Big portions, served very quick even in rush hour. People really doing their best managing amount of tourists. I would only suggest adding less oil in food, it is really heavy to digest:)

I haven't had such a delicious cannenbulle since my trip to Sweden (they call it cinnamon roll here). A stunning pastry to enjoy with a good cup of coffee. It's not cheap, but it's worth the treat.

The go-to place for breakfast in Texel. Bread, focaccia, sandwiches, coffee,... Everything excellent.

We've been coming to Texel for years and have seen the concept evolve from just the market to this location. They've tried many different concepts, starting with an in-house roastery, then baking sourdough bread, and now even a pizza oven and restaurant a few days a week. I understand they probably need to try new things, but I do think it's a shame the focus has shifted away from truly good coffee. Since this year, it seems to no longer be their "own" roasted coffee, but "specialty coffee," but the usual dark-roasted stuff you get everywhere! Otherwise, it's still a fun place to stop by if you're in Den Burg.

Nice vibe, super friendly staff. Not a wide menu, but we both had a delicious lunch and pastry. Mole Eggs doesn't sound like much - delicious and original bowl with a variety of tastes and textures. Plenty of fresh pastries and cakes. Coffee is superb!

We paid a lot for very little. We ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and drinks. We were initially given a grilled cheese sandwich, but the ham was missing. We asked where the ham was, and the answer was: "We'll serve our grilled cheese sandwich without ham." What? Just put a cheese sandwich on the menu. Incidentally, the cheese was also nowhere to be found, let alone tasty. The coffee was good. We won't be back!

This was our first time here on vacation. The espresso is really good, and the cinnamon rolls are delicious, too. The fresh bread we bought afterward was also delicious. If you love delicious espresso and freshly baked goods, this is the place for you. However, a few classic drinks for kids on the menu would be nice.

We unexpectedly popped in for brunch before heading out for the rest of the day. This Monday, July 28th, is about lunchtime during peak season. It was incredibly busy, but luckily we saw there was still plenty of room at the bar by the window. Fantastic, as always, the cappuccino was delicious, and we tried the filter coffee, which was excellent. The team was incredibly friendly and worked well together. You can tell from the staff's demeanor that they enjoy working together and have a good time. We chose a surprising salad, packed with flavor—not just on top of the lettuce, but the ingredients in the salad were simply top-notch for the taste experience. We had to wait a bit, but that's perfectly fine! No complaints there.

Excellent coffee from their own roastery. The decaf is also fantastic. 👌 Spacious terrace. Even during peak tourist season, the staff are super friendly.

Never again! A lot of hassle with cash at checkout. I could have paid with 50 euros, but they didn't have any change. It's not clearly stated anywhere that cash isn't accepted. I only saw it at the bottom of the menu in tiny print, I think. I've been coming to Texel for years, never had that happen. I'd recommend walking a few meters further to De Smulpot. For a few euros more, they offer a very extensive breakfast. You're always greeted with a smile!

Unfortunately, the coffee was quite a disappointment for us. A shame for a roastery.

All of our morning excursions began with a delicious cappuccino and croissant at this lovely coffee roastery. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent German. This café is simply a place where you feel at home.

Pretentious place. No cookie with coffee "because we already have so many delicious things." Tastes are debatable, but the selection is very limited, and the argument is ridiculous. No sugar with coffee "because our coffee is so good it doesn't need sugar." You'd feel guilty even asking for sugar. And besides: the coffee was absolutely undrinkable! The double espresso was so sour that even with the requested sugar, it only became worse. What a disgrace...

The food was culinary special, also tasty, but very small portions in relation to the price. With four of us more than € 100 spent without starter or dessert, one of us had a glass of wine and the rest only water.

We had dinner here, and while they clearly want to make something special, they aren’t quite there yet. The people serving us were lovely though, and we were received very warmly.

The coffee and pastries are very nice but unfortunately someone from the staff was drying dishes in the middle of the cafe at a table next to us and it was extremely noisy and contributed to an unpleasant atmosphere.

Very good vegan cappuccino and latte macchiato with Oatly oat milk! Banana bread is also vegan, was very tasty and large portion. Friendly service, clean toilet and nice terrace.

We were helped immediately and got the sandwiches. They said our coffee would be brought at any moment. After waiting 20 minutes I still didn't get it, while our neighbors just came to sit down and got their order right away. When we asked for the second time where our coffee was, they said it was ready and coming. Unfortunately an empty promise. Eventually I asked for my money back, which made them panic for a moment - because they couldn't transfer money via debit card and they couldn't find cash. It took a while but eventually they did find cash. Dissatisfied we left the bakery without coffee.

Not for me. No normal soft drinks available. Smoking is not allowed on the terrace, but it is allowed 1 meter outside the terrace. You have to ask for coffee without anything. A little too crazy. Even the staff thought it was too left-wing behavior.

Wow what delicious cakes! A nice place to sit and have something to eat. You can eat French pastries or croissants here. We arrived close to closing time and were able to quickly have a drink and something tasty. Very attentive and hospitable! Definitely recommended.

The recommendation if you are on Texel!! From the pastries to the coffee, I can't rave enough about this shop. The young but professional service team was extremely friendly and even though the store was full there was no waiting time. The selection was enormous and ordering was easy. All the dishes were amazing in terms of quality and taste. The prices are completely reasonable. If not too cheap. When I'm back on Texel my first port of call will be Texelse Branding again 👍

Good coffee and bakery, but disgusting service, rude employees. From the moment I entered a coffee shop they made me to feel unwelcome, after ignored me at the table making me to wait for a long time until waitress came. After served my order almost throwing it on the table. After this type of service I that cinnamon roll I ate at that coffee shop, now it is stuck and feels like a stone in my stomach. Better I would not be going there at all.

Quite simply the best bread I've ever eaten. I make my own bread and have bought from many artisan bakers so I have a decent idea of good bread and this is the best without doubt. The cakes and coffee are very good too so it's well worth a visit if you are in Texel.

We have been coming here for a nice cup of coffee for years. It really was a specialty. The range has now been expanded with a wine bar and restaurant. What struck us is that it has become a bit of everything and no longer really excels in anything. Would advise sticking to the coffee, which was great. The two stars for the service is because we wanted to have certain filter coffee but could not make it because the staff was not present. (disappointing).

A cozy café with its own roastery and delicious coffee. There is also its own bakery that has a selection of delicious desserts to go with your coffee. Not only do they look like they are painted, they also taste great! I would like to do the same in my home country, but I'm looking forward to coming back here on my next island vacation.
