We have been coming here for a nice cup of coffee for years. It really was a specialty. The range has now been expanded with a wine bar and restaurant. What struck us is that it has become a bit of everything and no longer really excels in anything. Would advise sticking to the coffee, which was great. The two stars for the service is because we wanted to have certain filter coffee but could not make it because the staff was not present. (disappointing).

A cozy café with its own roastery and delicious coffee. There is also its own bakery that has a selection of delicious desserts to go with your coffee. Not only do they look like they are painted, they also taste great! I would like to do the same in my home country, but I'm looking forward to coming back here on my next island vacation.

Coffee was delicious, cake too, but the service was a bit disinterested. Busy with all the work around the customers.

Nice shop that also sells really delicious sourdough bread. The bread consists, as it should always be, only of flour, water and some salt. The bread gets more flavor because it is made in 3 days instead of the current 3 hours. Highly recommended to start the day.

Absolutely recommended! Now our favorite spot when we are on Texel. Tasty fresh sandwiches, nice - not so standard - dishes and good coffee. Definitely a tip if you are in the area!

Cozy, rustic and bread like in Germany with a crispy crust and sourdough. Coffee also very tasty. Everything is pricey, but it's very nice here.

Nice place with an option for dinner since this year. Nice that you have a tapas concept. Lots of choice of bread or dough. Nice input for a little more variety through more light dishes. VAT tartare and flamkuchen/pizza with bone marrow highly recommended!

Delicious bread and brunch shop 😍 Ate and picked up several times during our stay on Texel! Very busy, but that could be because it was a holiday and the only brunch place to be found in Den Burg (perhaps on Texel).

Very tasty food and drinks. Prices are a little higher, but you can imagine that and that's completely fine. I would definitely come back!

The best cinnamon roll’s between Rotterdam and Göteborg! Sorry Sweden, your Kanelbulle is no match, sorry Danskere, even the Kanelsnegl doesn’t match. Every time we visit Texel, we’re having a kaneelbroodje along with a cappuchino, a real treat!

You can buy roasted coffee beans there. They also have a nice terrace. Lunch was very good.

Delicious coffee. Pastries/tarts are good too! Beautiful location. The first cup of coffee came quickly, but we had to wait a long time for the second. The other had already finished the coffee by then. It's a shame that the toilets are (no longer) separated for men and women. A real decline, especially for the woman who has to sit on glasses that are not clean... Unfortunately also (no longer) paying in cash.

The service is very chaotic and inattentive. In addition, we had to wait more than an hour (!) for a very simple order, coffee and a croissant. By the way, the almond croissant 🥐 is highly recommended. But a tip from me, for you... take it away instead of sitting there!

I had high expectations when i saw the quality of the bread and the interesting menu, but they still managed to surpass them. This place is not only one of the best places i have had the pleasure of eating at, but also possibly the best bread bakery i have ever visited. If you are reading this and worried about tourist traps, this is not one, take it from a native. The dish on the picture is their eggs benedict. Tip: their kombucha is homemade and glorious!

Best chef in town. Branding & Citrus is a great place on the island. We had the 5 course menu and it was really great. Super tasty, beautifully prepared and creatively created. Ice cream with a drizzle of olive oil was the crowning glory. The bread is baked there and the dough rests for several days. Quality is at the top. Really great.

We each had a cinnamon/chocolate/mocha croissant I thought the price was a bit high, especially because we weren't particularly impressed with the taste. Visually but nice to look at. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was really nice and modern.

I had the Texel Branding breakfast, wow what a large croissant you get! Delicious! We were able to sit outside, were helped quickly and everything was very tasty.

Unique! The most delicious bread made from organic ingredients and without yeast. The ambience and atmosphere are very pleasant. I particularly recommend the cinnamon roll. Just fantastic! Was served warm and the taste is unbeatable!

Very nice coffee shop. I had a delicious cappuccino here. The coffee was really tasty. The nice thing about Texel roasting is that they roast their own coffee beans. I now also have them in my coffee machine at home. They also bake their own cakes and pastries (as I understand). It all tastes very good!

The best cinnamon rolls in the world! Great breakfast, great coffee, great staff and in a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful city. We were there three times within a week and would have loved to go every day. Absolutely a must on Texel!

You will be greeted with the smell of freshly baked goods and the smiles of friendly staff. When asking the very attentive young lady (from Almere), what can you advise. We were surprised with a delicious breakfast, of a kind of curd, poached egg, vegetables and bread. What an early morning treat, paired with the perfect cup of coffee. This is highly recommended when you are on Texel.

Very hip coffee bar in the center of Den Burg. They roast their coffee themselves and you can taste it! Nice breakfast with even eggs Bénédicte, tasty croissants and cakes. The sourdough bread is to die for. When the weather is nice you can sit on the terrace among the greenery, which is an added value. Very attentive employees.

We actually wanted to try the V60 coffee specialty. The flagship of the house. It wasn't offered today. Then we ordered filter coffee which was supposed to take 10 minutes. Waiters came twice to talk us out of it. The Ameikano we ended up ordering was out of the question value. The croissant was over-baked, however The taste was good and we returned the banana cake that came instead of the brownie we ordered. The toilets were also unkempt. To paraphrase Shakespeare: much ado about nothing. Addendum: The banana cake was still on the bill and the difference was only paid after we protested - that cost stars.

This is truly the best bakery on the island. There is an incredibly delicious breakfast, great coffee, and lots of seating outside and inside. The service is very nice and friendly. Attention, card payment only!

Treated very unfriendly by the male clerk with curly hair. Always an arrogant attitude every time we came. Was the last time. Moreover, the coffee is expensive and you have to wait a long time for service. Milk with coffee is strange and the staff reacts unfriendly to it.

This is amazing bakery! Amazing bread, focaccia and croissants. We took a pork BBQ focaccia and it was so juicy and delicious be careful as biting it the juices going to flow all owed your hands). The kings day specialty croissants and cardamom brioche buns were finger liking delicious 🧡

OMG! This place not only has perfect bread and pastry but also a great story behind their business. The taste of everything we ordered was excellent!

We had breakfast there in January 2024 and the Egg Benedict and the Latte Macciato were very tasty, we also really liked the service and the atmosphere. We were also allowed to bring our dog. We will be back definitely. Absolute recommendation

As an Italian baker, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of the bread and focaccia they offer. The fillings were also of remarkable quality, reminiscent of the authentic flavors of Italy. The croissants and pain au chocolat were equally impressive. To top it off, the friendly staff and the cozy atmosphere added to the overall delightful experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
