You can really enjoy Thai food here; the kitchen and waitstaff are Thai. Embassies come here to eat! Highly recommended for everyone, and parking is right outside. Harbor views!

The food was okay, but not everyone in the group of 8 got their food at the same time. Two of us had to wait 10 minutes for our fish while the rest were already eating.

We had a reservation for 40 people, and everything went well at first. But suddenly the owner came and started talking loudly to us in front of other customers. It was very awkward and disrespectful. That's no way to treat guests. We'll never come back here, what a horrible place! The owner has no manners.

HORROR!! We actually just wanted to go out for a relaxing meal together because it smelled so delicious outside. But what greeted us when we walked in was simply disgusting. Right at the entrance, a thin, long tank full of koi carp – the animals crammed in, barely room to move. The sight alone was a slap in the face. And then there was an "aquarium" at the counter with giant lobsters. The water was just above their heads, their claws tied with tape – simply brutal. It was immediately clear: This isn't about fresh ingredients; this is about animal cruelty on a public stage. No matter how good the food might be, anyone who treats animals like this doesn't deserve a cent from us. We walked right back out, and all I can say to everyone is: Stay away from this place. This isn't gastronomy, it's a disgrace!

The food at this restaurant is truly delicious, and one of the female staff members was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, our experience was somewhat diminished by the attitude of the owner and a (bald) male staff member. They didn't seem child-friendly and made comments that we found inappropriate. This created a somewhat awkward atmosphere, which is a shame. Therefore, we regrettably don't recommend it if you're traveling with children.

This isn't the restaurant I went to last year and wanted to return to. I'm very disappointed with this Thai restaurant. While there are still authentic dishes on the menu, they're served with raisins, which has little to do with authentic Thai cuisine. The Thai flavor is missing. Satay has made its debut. The staff only calls the dishes by number, which isn't exactly inviting. The sauce tasted burnt, and to make matters worse, I developed severe diarrhea within two hours of eating. This strongly suggests possible food poisoning.

I've lost count of how many times I've been to Thailand. But I'll be back here more often. Keep up the good work, everyone in Phuket. Guido.

So friendly received without reservation, what luck. One more table for two. And what a delicious meal we had, chicken with vegetables in soy/ketjap and beef tenderloin in whole curry, really delicious. It also looked very tasty and beautiful. Top!

Ate here on Saturday February 7 with 16 people and 1 child, it was in one word fantastic, super delicious food and lovely staff.

Good food. Parking in front of the restaurant is expensive, better to park around the corner. Fast service and taking care with allergies.

EDIT: We went here twice during our stay in Hague. Definitely try the fresh lobster here. Really authentic thai food and great ambience. We had a baby with babywagon and i will not exactly say it is wheelchair accessible. Half of the restaurant's seating is upstairs only accessible by spiral staircase. Even the entrance incline comes after 2 steps which i find really pointless. On our first visit, the servers were not that clear with the their instructions. We ordered 4 dishes and the server said we can have with plain rice or fried rice. So we went with 3 plain rice and 1 fried rice. However when we looked at the bill we were charged for 4 plain rice and 1 fried rice. The fried rice was just 3.50 so the price isnt the factor but rather its the lack of clarity. One our 2nd visit, we had no such complaints. So they definitely learn from their mistakes and improve Otherwise the location and service were nice.

We are here for the past 3 days and had our eye on this place to try out. This reaturent was closed and just opened again on the night we visited them. Probably this was the reason why it was completely full. The food was really good, authentic thai and no gimics. The dishes were served properly and the rice for the table was served all together to save space. While ordering the server asked if we want whote rice or fried rice instead with one of the dishes. We jumped to fried rice for one and white rice for the other 3 dishes. When the bill was being paid, although it was just a few euros, I am never a fan of being given options where it will cost you extra. Then the servers must in my opinion, inform the higher rate for the option provided. Saying that we did enjoy our time in the resturent and also enjoyed our food wuite a bit. If you are around and looking for an asian place to try out, I highly recomend this place.

Been coming here for 26 years and even with the new owner it has always been a success.

I got sick from the food which usually means that they're using some Glutamate (MSG) to enhance the taste of the food. The portions were big and in principle tasty but if you have a sensitive stomach I strongly recommend to avoid this place.

I'm going to eat there, I think adults only, the place is full of children 😂😂😂 Nowadays all annoyances are thrown on social media. Jaap is a very skilled entrepreneur with a good reputation, hard workers, good service and delicious food.

I wanted to respond to Mrs Va S's review. What a nonsense story and what a cheap way to prove yourself right. Coincidentally, I was a guest at Puket that evening with my wife. The 2 children were indeed very noisy, to the annoyance of several guests. Some guests were already walking away or outside. It is the parents' responsibility to raise or keep children quiet. At least to an acceptable level. Unfortunately, this was not the case and no other action was taken by the parents. I have great respect for the owner for how he handled things. The fact is that the guests who were present wanted to have a pleasant evening. Due to the owner's decisive action, the evening was a success for many guests.

NOT CHILD FRIENDLY RESTAURANT!!! Yesterday we went to this restaurant for a special occasion with 3 families, including 2 2-year-old children. The children were a little restless (but they need some time to get used to the environment) and the owner arrived with the question 'how do I calm the children down, because this is really terrible', we thought that was strange and he became very restless and very nervous. Then we wanted to order and my son started crying (which is what children of that age do). And the owner immediately said 'the guests are bothered by it and if you can't control your child, you shouldn't be with your children. Going out for dinner! I have never experienced this! Children can sometimes be annoying, but this was certainly not the case. One or two times you are a bad parent and you cannot control your child decided to leave and the discussion continued outside the restaurant which was very unprofessional and very unfriendly and disrespectful! He even indicated that he cannot legally forbid it, but would rather not have children. Horrible, yuck!

A Thai restaurant on the edge of Scheveningen with a fantastic view of the harbor. The ambience is attractive and inviting, the service is friendly and accommodating. The dishes are freshly prepared and taste excellent. The portions are generous. The price is a bit higher, but given the high quality and the wonderful view, it is absolutely justified

If you love thai food, you will love it!! We ordered- Red thai curry, green thai curry and pad thai. I loved the red thai curry as it’s spicy better than green thai curry

By far the worst “thai” restaurant I have ever been to. If you love or know Thai food a bit, I would strongly avoid it. I went there because they were supposed to have pad kaprow but unfortunately it was available only for lunch. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai and it tasted only of black soy sauce (way too much). The fried noodle were blend and cooked with old oil. I asked for hot sauce and they charged me 5 euro for chili’s in fish sauce but the fish sauce was not prepped as it should and it was over salty and not even spicy. Seriously I would been better off going to Thai express…

The four of us went to a restaurant for the first time. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice and good. Staff very friendly and helpful. The organization seems very chaotic and there is no mutual communication, which is why the order went wrong. Ultimately resolved by exchanging food instead of canceling. It took a very long time for food to arrive (about an hour). The food looked fine but was an explosion of salt. I felt more like I was taking a bite out of the Dead Sea than my fish. Was good to try it out but will stick with this one time. There are other Thai restaurants that are clearly much better.

We are fans! We have lunch here about once a month. Super nice staff. The Kai Bai Teuy (starter) and sea bass in kra paw sauce (main course) are recommended and keep us coming back every time :)

Enjoyed a wonderful evening at Thai Restaurant Phuket. There were thirteen of us to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We had chosen not to use the menu, but to be surprised with a variety of main courses. (And finally chose dessert myself). It was all delicious, friendly service with a big smile.

We went there for the second time yesterday for Mother's Day. What a nice atmosphere there was. Beautiful balloons on the tables and at the end our mother also got a rose to take home. The people are super friendly and the food is really delicious. It's a bit of a drive for us, but we will definitely come back more often.

We ordered fish with 3 types of sauce and tjauwmin (bami). Fish was very sweet due to too much chili sauce and sugar I think and tjauwmin had no taste and was much too dry. We won't be coming back here again.

Great restaurant. Tasty food, perfect service and a cozy atmosphere. The owner is always polite and above all grateful and proud that customers come. You really feel welcome and are treated as an important guest. Customer is king here. We have been coming here for 10 years (also known the previous owner) and we will continue to come here for a long time.

Very nice restaurant that not only shines with a tasteful ambience. Phuket's real calling card is of course Thai food. Visually attractively arranged - after all, the eye eats with it - the various dishes that we tried during our visit offered a variety of flavors that were almost perfectly coordinated with one another. Also worth highlighting is the friendly and attentive service that ensures that you as a guest feel completely comfortable. A visit to Phuket in summer is particularly nice. Then you can sit outside on the terrace and, in addition to an excellent meal and appropriate drinks, also enjoy the atmospheric view of the harbor of Scheveningen.

2023 December 25th Unfortunately, the interior has been nicely restyled but the taste is no longer authentic Thai. The taste is too bland and ordinary. Not surprising and no reason for us to come back. As Asians, we are very disappointed in the taste palette. We have been visiting this restaurant with our family around Christmas for decades. Like more Dutch and non-Dutch Asians. The chef who was there until 2022 managed to create the flavors well. Now: tom yum is salty, leg of lamb too sweet, fishcakes have little lemongrass and a chicken curry dish that does not belong in Thai cuisine. No surprises, no longer worth it for us. Sorry. 2022 Under new management- we have yet to visit this one. 2021 - Still the best!! Tasty Thai with a view of the harbor. Atmospheric all year round. Smart or casual dress - both are fine. Super tasty Thom Ka Kai and Tom Yum Kung. The lamb and sea bass are also our favorites. And you decide how spicy you want it. 2nd Christmas 2018 we again chose Phuket at the harbour. 7 people and it was delicious again. This time in addition to our favorites, we ordered Crab in advance. 2 with Peter and salt and 2 with Thai sauce - according to the chef's own wishes. It was super tasty. Also polished off 2 nice bottles of chardonnay. It was a winner again. We made a reservation at 7:00 PM and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. We were the last to leave again....

Even though Thai food is not my favorite cuisine. It tasted good. Great company and friendly service topped it off.

I was here with my mother today, we're german. We couldn't really find any other places to eat at so we went here. The waitress was super nice even though we couldn't really communicate because of the language barrier, she even came to say goodbye as we were walking out! She was such an angel. I had the vegan 4 rolls with chicken and it was only about 7€, it was alright for the price, my mom had a soup it was about 12€ she didn't really like it though. The food also arrived very quickly

Ik heb hier lang geleden gegeten. Toen het Chinese volk het bezat Eerlijk gezegd kon ik het niet eten. Tot afgelopen zondag Ik ging weer eten. Ik hoorde het nieuws dat Thaise mensen koks zijn. Ik kan je vertellen: het is erg lekker. Ik denk dat dit het is Echt Thais eten.

Geweldige tent. Heerlijk authentiek thais eten. Zo'n lekkere smaken. Gezellige inrichting en de thaise dametjes zijn zo vriendelijk. We gaan hier zeker vaker heen.

Das Restaurant war gut besucht und wir hatten Glück, trotz fehlender Reservierung einen Tisch zu bekommen. Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ich hatte die Ente in Sauce nach Art des Hauses (33) mit verschiedenem Gemüse. Das konnte man sich selbst zusammenstellen indem man sich erst das Fleisch aussucht und dann Sauce und Beilagen auswählt. Die Ente war extrem lecker, ich denke es war die beste, die ich bis jetzt bei einem Thailändischen Restaurant bekommen habe. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen und haben das Restaurant glücklich und satt verlassen. Vielen lieben Dank

The best Thai in town! Serieus, echt zo lekker! Perfecte jasmijnrijst en mooie gebakken rijst. Curry’s, vis, satay! Wat je ook neemt alles is met zorg bereid en voortreffelijk van smaak. Daar eten of bestellen, hoe dan ook top! Lekkere groenten..iedere keer een genot om te eten.
