We had a wonderful evening. It's a cozy place, has a good selection of drinks, and the staff is exceptionally friendly! Wessel deserves a compliment; he's very friendly and knowledgeable about the enormous collection of board games. He's friendly and helpful in helping us choose a fun game. We'd love to come back.

Such a fun concept! The food and drinks are also really delicious and cheap. A great place to discover new games with friends or family! The staff even helped me find specific games I couldn't find myself, because there was so much choice. The staff who helped me were real gaming enthusiasts themselves; they didn't give up until they found the right game! Bopla is also very tasty.

We walked in without a reservation, and there was still a table available for a few hours! We enjoyed a beer and a few cocktails. The natchos were delicious and a very large bowl for the price. The staff was very friendly and happy to advise you on games.

Absolutely amazing place! If you like board games it is THE place to be. The boardroom offers some tables to try a lot of boardgames and have a good selection to buy. As traveller, it would be great to have some escape games to buy (e.g. unlock) in english and not only dutch, but I get it why. We spent there a rainy period of the day and had an amazing time. The price to play the boardgames is a bit expensive compared to what I am used to in other cities (I think it was 21€ for 2h and 2 ciders), but still ok.

Fans of board games, you will find here a play area, something to quench your thirst and a shop with the latest novelties and some relics, will you fall for it? We do, because there are a lot of games that are not and will not be available in 🇫🇷. 10% discount if you took the time to play, that's cool. To play, can be a little expensive, 6€ per person (4.5 for kids) and no discount on drinks. For an hour on site, it's expensive and no explanation or support suggested. Damage.

We traveled from Amsterdam specifically to visit this board game café, and it was absolutely worth it! The staff was welcoming and explained how everything works, making us feel right at home. The game selection was fantastic—we even found a brand-new SETI, which is rare to see even in dedicated board game stores. The food and drinks were great, and the €6 per person play fee is very reasonable given the incredible selection. Sure, the menu prices might feel a bit high, but that’s no different from any regular café. The only downside? The place was a bit chilly — my companion ended up keeping their jacket on. And we’re from the North! 😉

It's always a pleasure being there playing with friends. There's a nice selection of games on their library. The food is also good, and the staff is always ready to help.

Very nice to spend an afternoon, lots of choice of games and a very pleasant atmosphere. For me personally, the quality of the catering industry was somewhat disappointing. Chai latte and cappuchino tasted bad and the nachos were also sparsely topped. You come for the games and not for the rest, but that's totally fine :)

Very nice service, friendly employees with nice charisma and will to help. A huge variety of games. I would only recommend a bit more variety in the menu and in the snacks.

The site contains 1 menu for both locations. Upon arrival in Haarlem, it turns out that they only sell the flamkuchen, and therefore the only vegan dish, in The Hague. Furthermore, I found the staff to be friendly, but not very helpful when it came to thinking along or figuring things out in a game, while it had been very quiet, especially in the beginning, and therefore quite possible.

Did not purchase any food, but it looked very good. Loved sitting with the family to enjoy a game. The gaming experience is not free. However, it is very reasonable and well worth the fun and laughter.

Nice afternoon. Was able to try out two games on the recommendation of the staff and liked them both. Food, atmosphere and service are top notch.

If you like board games and card games, this is a great place. The staff will help you choose games if you don't know what to play. The food is completely fine.

I really liked The Boardroom. They have a HUGE collection of games. However, the games could be organized better. While the person at the bar did explain to us the logic regarding the arrangement of the games, it still took a while to look for the games we wanted to play. Moreover, there was a large table full of guests in front of a shelf and we had to squeeze ourselves and possibly disturb them just to retrieve the game we wanted to play. So maybe the tables could be arranged better. Other than that, I really enjoyed the place and liked the fact you get a 10% discount in the store if you visit the place and play games there. I'll come back again!

Great place with a large selection of games that will please both occasional or frequent boardgame players, in bigger or smaller groups. Staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. Last time we came over to play, we ended up buying one of the games that we tried, and received a discount. I recommend making a reservation as it can get busy some days.

Great fun. Been two times now with my pal and the second time brought the boyfriend along as well. We played a few things, from short to long games, including ark nova, which took us 5hours or so. Whatever type of game you want to play, they have it. The menu is fine for snacking on a toasty or getting a beer or tea or sharing some nibbles - exactly the kind of stuff you need for a long games session. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. You can just be yourself there. Kids, students, adults - if you like games, you're welcome 🤗

Went in on a busy Sunday and had a good experience overall. The reservation process was pretty straightforward and the service overall was satisfactory. The game selection is great and there are lots of games to choose from. We played "ticket to ride - europe" and the set was really really worn out. Tried another set that was available and the condition was the same. Other than that, everything was great.

I only went in to have a look, but it's really nice here! you can sit down with friends, bring a game and order something tasty to eat or drink! really cool!

Played games with son and his girlfriend and her parents and wife. Super cozy! The only downside is that the music was really too loud, eega is hearing impaired and it really bothered her. For the rest, the service was nice and everything was neat

It was a pleasant evening, I have lived in Haarlem for years but I didn't know this🤔 music was a bit predominant. Chips were tasty but other snacks were not for me.

Nice place! Had quite a bit on the receipt and didn't see it so quickly that it wasn't quite right - also paid for some drinks for someone else. Beers are tasty, games are fantastic. Will come back again. But check your receipt here!!!

Très sympathique, les bières IPA sans alcool sont très bonnes. Il faut payer pour jouer... J'aurais dit que si on prend au moins deux consommations, le prix descend, mais ce n'est pas leur choix. 6€ lorsque l'on joue seulement une petite heure ou deux, cela peut être un frein. Autrement, large choix de jeux, et l'ambiance est sympathique.

Gezellig "cafeetje" met vriendelijk personeel en een levendige en energieke sfeer. Keuze aan spellen is enorm, zowel voor te spelen als om te kopen. Ik kom zeker terug!

Tijdens een weekendje Haarlem deze prachtige spellenzaak binnengelopen. Het spel wat onze interesse had konden we meteen spelen in het café-gedeelte en toen we het ook echt kochten kregen we 10% korting! Verder echt een superservice, hele vriendelijke mensen en een must go to voor elke liefhebber van bordspellen. En als je er niet van houdt dan komt dat daar wel :)

Nice staff that will explain the games and the concept. They have a lot of games to choose from and organise nice events. The price is the only reason for the 3 stars they charge for everything they can charge for and even the drinks are pricy

A really nice & cozy coffee/restaurant. It’s huge and a lot of space. Coworking space is available. And the Paninis are just insane delicious! :-) I will definitely come back.

Fantastic game selection, extremely friendly and helpful staff, and a surprisingly diverse food and drink menu. To be perfectly fair, the food is no better than functional, but that's not why anyone is here. That you can get a large variety of snacks and even meals is a pretty big selling point!

This is my favorite game store to play legacy (Magic the Gathering) at! The regulars that play there are very fun and welcoming. The store also features a nice selection of snacks and coffee to enjoy while you are playing games there!

Play all sorts of board&card games in this place! You can also order food and drinks inside and each person costs around 6 euros for your stay there.

Fabulous place. Very accommodating and friendly. All games are in 'difficulty' sections, including family games - which was perfect.

Gezellige plek om een spelletje te spelen. Niet heel lawaaierig maar wel gezellig gepraat om je heen. Plus punt, de hond mag ook gewoon gezellig mee!
