We chose this place to celebrate my birthday, with my family (11 people). When we arrived, the tables were not ready and we waited for 10-15 minutes to get seated. The service overall was good but every request took so long: just bringing menus took half an hour… we waited long for everything: for drinks, for starters, main courses came in an hour..! Food was very good, quality was great, but the speed was very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this place. They need to add more waiters to make a stay in this restaurant an enjoyable experience.

Kattenburgerplein 1Only vegetarian products. So we skipped lunch. I would like to be able to choose and not be forced by others to eat vegetarian, for example a hot dog with vegetarian 'sausage' (sausage is by definition a meat product). The beers and snacks at the 't IJ brewery more than made up for this.
