The Nex Castricum in Wijk 00 Centrum

For lovers of old school hip hop, Heart for Hip Hop is the The Nex event to attend. Both the audience and the artists enjoy the wonderfully relaxed atmosphere to the fullest.

I came here with some friends. First of all, the line was obviously disgusting. All Moroccans pushing you. Then you enter to rude security. They said my friend Gerald-Jan was not allowed in because of excessive cocaine use! He did not get his money back for the ticket. All in all, a wasted evening unfortunately. It's often fun here, but not then!

What a retarded sad bunch. There were only ugly fat trolls and even with the free tickets there was no one. They only played dead music as if you were at a funeral. I would rather be asleep.

Unfortunately, my visit to The Nex was a disappointment. It started with a lack of atmosphere: the bar was not busy, even during the holidays, which should normally be a peak time. The crowd that was there did not contribute to a cozy or nice ambiance. The music was another low point. The DJ played mediocre, unpopular songs that no one really seemed to know or like. It felt like little effort had been made to put together a good playlist that would appeal to the taste of a "wide" audience. What was also noticeable was that the energy in the bar was completely lacking. There was no dynamic or cozy atmosphere, and the whole thing felt dull and lifeless. This is a real shame, because a good bar is about more than just drinks - it's about the people, the music and the atmosphere. In short, The Nex has a lot of work to do to become an attractive and lively place. At the moment I would not recommend it for a night out.

What a bad place. If you pass out because something is put in your drink and you don't react and just lie lifeless on the floor. Don't assume that one of those security guards will come to help you. All they can do is make a big mouth while you're trying to help someone. The officers also don't do anything about it, a large group of police officers and they just let you die on the street, they honestly don't care.

Only aggressive Moroccans here. Nothing against them, just be a little nicer. A little push and immediately a kick.

Security guards at the door checking youth's ID at the age of 16 is a good thing, but it can also go too far. Last night my daughter couldn't get in because she forgot her ID, and she couldn't even talk to the security guards when she called me on the phone to show me her ID via FaceTime. I still bring her ID to her and hope she has a nice evening on her birthday. Unfortunately, my daughter then becomes the victim of a group of drunk girls and boys and she ends up in a fight. My daughter tries to find or speak to a security guard, but they are not there at that moment, according to her they mainly stand at the door and are not at all concerned about what might be happening inside. Where are your priorities?!?! Stoically check your ID at the door or perhaps also monitor the safety of the youth inside! Very disappointed.

Those girls at DJs are just minors. 18 right? Be careful! There are a lot of minors walking around!! Owner, don't you check how many are getting drinks and coming in?!! Let's check tonight which children are walking around with drinks and ... because they are not being condoled on age at the door!!!!!!

They should let fewer people in, it was way too busy and a friend of mine was beaten.

Atmosphereless tent. The night I was there: a hardcore party. Gabbers from the nineties came out of their depths to chop.

Klein, fijn, vertrouwde locatie met leuke mensen om de voeten van de vloer te heffen en lekker te stampen. Dat is in ieder geval mijn personlijke ervaring.

Supergezellig en leuk personeel. Bij de ingang staat handgel om je handen te ontsmetten, er hangen schermen bij de bar en stickers dat je 1,5 meter afstand moet houden.

Ben er na 3 uur nog steeds. En niet van plan snel te verrekken

Omdat deze review online komt te staan houd ik me in... Maar manmanman het was een gezellige avond.

Het is leuk alleen andere mensen verpesten het door een mes mee te nemen waardoor je nu moet blazen. 🖕🏻 naar degene die een mes mee neemt en zo idioot is om het voor de andere te verpesten.
