I personally wouldn't come back here, poor customer service.

We now stop here every weekend trip to Holland and eat fries and cheeseburgers. The service is always friendly and attentive, the fries are freshly prepared and taste delicious.

After waiting for 2 hours and constantly trying to call, but being unreachable since they had thrown the phone next to the door, we just drove there ourselves. The man quickly locked the door when we got angry; since we had already paid, he opened it. He came up with all sorts of excuses, but hadn't even started on our bill yet. Eventually, we got our money back, which was still too little. Truly a one-time thing, and I will never order from there again.

Stood in the shop for five minutes without anyone coming forward. Must be busy…

Owner not friendly, not even to his own staff, wallah karma comes back

For the first time in a long time, I stopped by 'Het Patatje' to get something to eat. Upon entering, I was greeted kindly by a lady who immediately wanted to take my order. I indicated that I wanted to look at the menu first. Barely 5 seconds later, a somewhat older man came over in a slightly surly tone to take my order anyway. I decided to order a large portion of fries without mayonnaise. He repeated "WITH mayonnaise," which I immediately corrected to "WITHOUT." I also ordered a cheese puff and a bami disc. Upon arriving home, it turned out to be fries with mayonnaise after all. 1/3 of the fries were already soaked in the mayonnaise I didn't want. The total amount of fries was not much for a "large" portion. The fries I was able to eat tasted fine otherwise. Not particularly delicious, but certainly not bad. The bami disc consisted of rock-hard noodle strands and, moreover, did not taste as it should. The cheese puff was the only one that turned out well. All in all, a disappointing experience. I might as well have made fries and snacks in the air fryer at home, and I would have had a tasty meal. I will never come back here unless there is a new owner. Not recommended if you are craving some fries. They should have named this place "Het Patatje Met" (The Fries With), then I would have walked right past.

I ate here today, but I will never eat here again! My experience at this establishment was downright bad, mainly due to the behavior of the owner himself. Upon entering, I ordered a kapsalon and asked for veal döner. In my experience, the owner responded to this snappingly and unfriendly. No alternative was offered, and my preferences were not inquired about, which I found to be very unprofessional. Instead, he walked away without further communication. Subsequently, two large kapsalons were prepared without this being discussed with me. This only came to light when paying, which I find misleading and inappropriate. At the cash register, there was a note requesting cash payment. Personally, this gave me a strange and lack of transparency. When picking up the order, in my opinion, there was a complete lack of customer friendliness. There was no greeting and no "enjoy your meal"; the order was handed over in a distant manner. Additionally, the hygiene struck me as a negative point. Among other things, I saw dead flies on the windowsill, open garbage bags, and dust. The slush machine also appeared poorly maintained to me, with stuck and discolored ice. Furthermore, I found the owner's behavior inappropriate: he spoke loudly and angrily on the phone and whistled at female customers, which I consider disrespectful. Finally, given my experience with the service and quality, I find €17.50 for two hair salons excessively high. In short: a very negative experience, which for me was primarily determined by the owner's behavior and methods. For me, there is no reason to return here. I didn't finish all the fries; I felt they had an unpleasant taste.

The staff and owner always help you with a smile and are very friendly. Since we moved to Lelystad, we regularly go there to grab a quick snack.

Warm welcome on arrival, enjoyed some fries and mayo.

The food was delicious, only a shame it wasn't hot. And the milkshakes had no flavor, even though we ordered chocolate and vanilla.

A very rude man took my order. He did not “understand what I wanted from him,” although I clearly explained everything in English, ultimately he refused to take my order and my order was taken by his colleague, who understood what I meant the first time. Before I could leave this eatery, this rude guy started discussing my pronunciation. I will never go to this place again and I recommend you avoid it. 0/5.

I ordered two super kapsalon with döner. I expected a huge portion, but it was a big disappointment; there wasn't much meat and lots of fries. We also ordered two milkshakes, but they didn't arrive as they should have. Otherwise, the meat and the shakes tasted good. All in all, I won't be ordering from here again. Sincerely,

We had a wonderful meal, the hair salon was delicious and the spare ribs are the best here

We live nearby and occasionally get fries. It always tastes great. It has become pricey! Eu 9.35 for 2p fries and a vegetarian croquette. The owner is often a bit grumpy and therefore not inviting to come more often.

Ready quickly and of good quality. Update October 8, 2024: The toilets have not been used for more than a year. It looks like these will remain closed for good.

Good snack bar! Really nice and old-fashioned. The food was good, especially the satay sauce. The only drawback was the price. Bit expensive for a snack bar

Not tasty satay sauce just water

Just too cold outside so we ate inside. Not really spacious, but doable. Food was fine. The satay sauce from the berehap was in the container instead of over it. Don't eat conveniently. Delicious, by the way, both the snack and the satay sauce. Fries fine

Quality snack bar with tasty food and friendly staff

Come here regularly. Real snack bar. Very good quality fries. Also buy the croquettes from the house. Quality! So none from Dobben or Kwekkeboom but a nice one from Patatje.

Gestrand bij de Noordersluis door een stremming, begonnen we rond etenstijd toch wel trek te krijgen. Echter geen zin om te koken. Zien we ineens een bemanningslid van duwboot Timmy afspringen. Dat betekende er maar 1 ding: er iS eten in de buurt. En dat bleek Het Patatje te zijn. Een prima snackbar die op het moment dat wij er waren, gerund werd door 2 wat oudere heren die het vak verstonden. Prima Friet en snacks. Vanaf de binnenzijde Noordersluis tot aan de friettent is 5 minuten lopen. Helemaal goed. Prijzen zijn ook nog eens zeer acceptabel! Heb je deze review gelezen, laat het me weten met een 👍

Super lekker eten! Wij komen er regelmatig. Lieve mensen. Soms vergeten ze wat in je bestelling maar als je belt wordt het altijd netjes opgelost.

Eten normaal wel goed. Maar laatste tijd minder goede ervaring. Kleine dingen zoals rietje vergeten, medium shake ipv groot, geen uitjes op de patat mayo/sate, geen saus bij kapsalon en nu deze grap een shoarma-rol met knoflook krijg je een shoarma-rol in een bakje volledig ondergedompeld in de saus je zag de shoarma-rol bijna niet eens dus niet eetbaar meer.

Vijf maanden geleden deze snakbar s avonds bezocht,hamburger en patat middel met fritesaus besteld voor mee tenemen,schone kleine zaak,vriendelijke medewerker,knapperige patat zoals het hoort,lekkere hamburger het was betaalbaar 6,40 . Voor mij vijf sterren!

Goeie patatkraam. Goed spul maar meer is het niet.

1 van de betere cafetaria's in Lelystad wat betreft het eten. Maar geen 5 sterren waard vanwege: - chagrijnig personeel. als ik er iets bestel heb ik echt het idee dat ik ze tot last ben (....) - veel fouten in de bestelling. De ene keer ontbreekt er iets, de andere keer krijg je totaal iets anders. Dit komt bij ons geregeld voor. Volgens mij zijn deze 2 zaken vrij eenvoudig op te lossen. Laat anders het personeel van de cafetaria uit de Jol het eens voordoen. Of desnoods Gordon Ramsay. Dat wordt dan wel lachen.

Goede patat maar bediening is traag en weinig enthousiast. Deze man vindt zijn vak niet leuk, dat is duidelijk.

Lekker! We komen hier al jaren. Altijd vriendelijk.
