If you look for it and look for a sign or name on the facade, you can continue searching for a long time. Pay particular attention to the number where you need to be. Good and friendly service, very cozy and intimate atmosphere. Good cocktails and water is constantly being refilled. We had to wait on the sidelines before a spot became available, but the staff explained this nicely and gave you that option.

This is a lovely secret behind the casual door. We enjoyed some very different innovative cocktails with a spicy blend that made it very enjoyable. The atmosphere is really relaxed and we had a great time.

Speakeasy with a relaxed vibe. It can get pretty busy, so it's a good idea to make a reservation. The drinks are cool, and if you're not sure what to try, just strike up a conversation with the bartender – they'll whip up something awesome. Highly recommend!

This is an incredible speak-easy, with gorgeous drinks and cocktails. A must-try if you are in Groningen at least once in your life!

Load cooler; the whole concept is right. Prohibition 1920s; The store is so hidden that we wouldn't have been able to find the entrance without photos on Maps. Music, interior design, right down to the clothing of the employees... everything is harmonious. You are immediately welcomed with glasses of water; which will also be refilled throughout the evening. We couldn't get a seat at first, which is why we were recommended the "sister" bar "Cilinder". We then reserved a table for the next day. Overall we really liked it; However, a bit narrow and the price feels more expensive than the Cilinder. Cocktails very unusual. Just something different.

Probably the nicest bar in Groningen. Very cosy. Hidden bar (but just walk in). The staff and the special cocktails and wines ensure that you come back again and again.

Had delicious, special cocktails. In addition, good service and free popcorn, win win. The 'Naked Colada' is very tasty :)

Pros: Great atmosphere, great service. A lot of unique cocktails to pick from. The Stockroom feels more like a cool experience than a usual bar. Cons: when it's busy you might get very claustrophobic and warm. Personal take: Let the bartenders recommend you drinks rather than ordering the usual stuff. Great place to go for a date or take a friend who's visiting and wants to see something different/unique.

Always amazing cocktails. They can make (almost) anything you ask. I frequently request a twist for a regular cocktail that I like and they always make something amazing. Definitely recommend a visit.

The ambiance and service is fantastic, but after several attempts I'm still not a fan of the cocktails. The price is extremely high and the taste is never special. Although I will definitely come back for the atmosphere!

The truth is that it is a place where I like to get lost and discover cool and magical things like this place. I don't drink any alcohol, but when I told the waiter that I was letting myself go, they knew how to do their job very well. I would come back here a thousand times.

Great 'hidden bar' concept. Good cocktails, but service is varying and heavily dependent on who is serving you. In my opinion price - service ratio is not balanced enough. So: recommend to go visit at least once and go early to be sure you get a spot.

Cocktails have been designed since the early 1800s by bartenders from all over the world. THE BEST COCKTAILS IN THE WORLD ALREADY EXIST! I can imagine that you put 1 (max 2) self-designed cocktails on the menu. But really the entire menu is made up of cocktails yourself!? Arrogant and pretentious. And they really aren't hard to drink either!

An inconspicuous shop from the outside but very impressive from the inside! Super nice atmosphere with a very cool bar and cozy seating areas. The cocktails are just amazing! Rarely have I had so much fun trying it out. Whether signature drinks à la carte or drinks made on your personal request, the bartenders conjure up a unique taste experience in every glass! No wonder this bar has already won awards for its drinks (at least that's what I've been told, but I can very well imagine it)! In advance you get free water and popcorn with a special seasoning mix that simply tastes exceptionally good and is constantly refilled by the very friendly waitress. So. Come here if you want a particularly unforgettable cocktail evening! The perfect insider tip to impress friends, family or a date ;) The drinks aren't exactly cheap, but they're absolutely worth the money! My personal favorite drinks that we tried were the “Malakanzi” and “What the Goat”! Would definitely go here again next time I'm in Groningen!

This is the most wonderful place, it was surprising in the entrance but we enjoyed every part of the experience, we are coming back without hesitation.

One of the best cocktail places I’ve ever been. Customer service was great and the variety of specialty cocktails was really impressive. I thought that a whisky cocktail would never surprise me anymore but now i’ve visited the stockroom, so everything is possible.

Behind a fairly discreet door lies quite a gem of a place. Walk through, and you're transported to a great lounge on a cellar. Service is super, greated with a bowl of house popcorn and glasses of water. Would recommend 👌

We waren op citytrip naar Groningen en kwamen toevallig uit bij the Stockroom voor een afzakkertje. Aan de bar in gesprek gekomen met barman Daniël die de tijd nam om ons wat te leren over cocktails en rum in het bijzonder. We hebben twee fijne avonden doorgebracht in the Stockroom, waarvoor dank! Als we in de buurt zijn, komen we zeker nog eens langs.

Beautiful hidden place in Groningen. Great atmosphere from the first step you set into the hall to the glass floors showing the different kind of drinks.

3 keer scheepsrecht! Na twee keer bij Stockroom te zijn geweest op vrijdag/zaterdag, was een woensdagavond echt een wereld van verschil. In het weekend is het geen aanrader wat mij betreft, maar doordeweeks zou ik er zeker (nog eens) langs gaan. De cocktails zijn altijd top, maar wanneer het te druk is (in het weekend dus) krijg je door veel mindere service en minder aandacht eigenlijk geen waar voor je geld. Een reservering maken op zaterdag, netjes optijd aankomen, maar dan op een rotplekje aan de bar worden gezet waar je eigenlijk geen ruimte hebt om normaal te zitten, dat is nogal matig. De laatste keer, op woensdag, was het relatief rustig. Het personeel van de Stockroom neemt dan rustig de tijd om je iets aan te raden, blijft wat langer hangen voor een praatje en is constant paraat om je water bij te schenken. Wat meer "crowd management" op drukke(re) dagen kan mijns inziens voor een (veel) betere ervaring zorgen.

Usually this place is super crowded with slow service, but during summer vacation it becomes chill and is a very nice place to hang out with friends and colleagues to drink fancy cocktails. The service was incredible recently. My sister and I were not sure what to order because all the cocktails seemed interesting, but the bartender was very accommodating and explained the whole menu and tailored each cocktail to our specific preferences, and his choices were spot on! The cocktails were pricey but delicious and you get the 5-star service along with it. Previously I wasn't a fan of their cocktail selection, but they change their menus often and their most recent menu is top tier!

Wat een geweldige start van ons avondje stappen! We hebben per persoon twee heerlijke en verassende cocktails gedronken, geserveerd met een bakje popcorn. Het personeel is enorm vriendelijk en de sfeer is top! En dan heb ik het nog niet eens over het "speakeasy" concept. Heel erg leuk.

Absolutely loved the experience of this bar every time I visited the place. Drinks are amazing, but the whole experience, from the way you are greeted to how the bartenders interact with the customers is top-notch! Drinks are expensive, but honestly, I loved every cent of it to the point where I gladly had multiple cocktails in the same evening. Definitely recommend checking this place out should you be in town. A memorable experience, kudos to the staff!

Geweldige sfeer. Erg gastvrij personeel. Experts in het runnen van een cocktailbar. Heerlijke cocktails. De locatie is wat aan de kleine kant, maar dat geeft wel een hele exclusieve sfeer. Reserveren, zeker in het weekend is wel aan te raden.

Descubrimos este sitio por recomendación del Hotel dónde nos alojamos y la verdad es que fue el gran descubrimiento del viaje. Los bartenders fueron muy amables y son muy profesionales preparando las bebidas. El sitio es un espectáculo! Ya estamos deseando volver a Groningen para repetir… 100% recomendado!

Het is even zoeken maar dan heb je ook wat. The Stockroom heeft een bijzondere plek en sfeer gecreëerd die verwijst naar de drooglegging in de USA uit de jaren 1920/30. Naast de intieme setting serveren zij waanzinnige cocktails als signature drink maar ook of jouw eigen smaak en behoefte gecreëerd. Wereldze avond gehad en volop genoten.
