Visited this bar with a group of friends, all of whom ordered drinks. I personally don’t drink, and usually, pubs don’t have an issue with one person in a group opting out of ordering. However, the staff here was quite rude and insisted I either order a drink or leave the bar. This was an incredibly unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. I wanted to share this to let others know about the policy and the way it was handled. Definitely not a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for a welcoming and flexible atmosphere.

Friendly neighbourhood pub. Large selection of British, Dutch and international beers. Simple but tasty meals available ("pub grub"). Nice music, lots of 80's and 90's. Live music and pub quizzes (alternating Dutch and English language) every couple of weeks . Friendly landlord.

Great place for a couple of drinks. International clientele and likely staff. Music always good (subjective that is) and never too loud. Regular pub quiz evenings and often live music.

Ik kom hier al jaren met veel plezier, maar gisteren werd mij opeens de toegang geweigerd omdat ik blijkbaar leek op iemand die eens herrie heeft geschopt anderhalf jaar geleden. Erg jammer. Het is een authentieke, gezellige Ierse pub waar ik graag met vrienden kwam. Hopelijk wil de eigenaar nog eens met mij in gesprek om het misverstand op te helderen.

Great food, drinks and atmosphere. Rachelle the bartender is the best and Alan the owner is often there to great you personally. Wonderful place to eat or just enjoy some drinks with friends. Great for English and Dutch speakers.

Came for the Sunday roast and was not disappointed. Beautifully cooked beef rib and pork. Came with a Yorkshire pudding, good gravy and very generous portion of veg and potatoes. Atmosphere is good, beer is nice, heartily recommend this place!
