We've been here twice, and it was a wonderful experience! We even stopped for lunch on our wedding anniversary. We were able to specify our preferences beforehand, and when we arrived, it was ready. They had chosen a quiet spot and written a sweet card. This place is truly worth it! We're also very curious about the sleeping arrangements, but that's not finished yet.

The parking sign should be bigger and clearer. Nobody believes it. They'll just drive through anyway.

Indeed worthy of 5 stars, Beautiful quiet place, friendly service and the food and coffee not only delicious but also a feast for the eyes. We took the oat bars with us afterwards for the evening with coffee at home. Delicious. We will definitely come back on our next holiday. To park, pay close attention to the signs.parking next to the campsite. Maps sends you to the yard of a farm when you drive past it. Ample parking and a short walk.

Cosy decorated teahouse where you can still sit inside on a windy and drizzly day. The menu is full of tasty things with a healthy twist. I really liked my frittata with salad and then apple pie with whipped cream.

Great place, delicious coffee (flat white), goodies with coffee and all super friendly people! A place to come back!!

Yesterday we had a high tea in the Kronkelwaard for 22 people. Because of the rain we sat inside at 3 large tables and it was very good and cozy. A special diet was taken into consideration and executed super well. Add to that the friendly, attentive service and there is nothing left to be desired!. Recommended!

A beautiful and lovingly designed café with fantastic food. Such warm-hearted people! The chocolate peanut cake is especially recommended.

What a gem, so beautifully located near the IJssel in Brummen! The high tea is really a party: full of delicious, home-made delicacies. Enjoyed from start to finish. We had high tea for brunch. It was really tasty and 3 courses were served, each of which tasted very good. Top it off with the cozy atmosphere and beautiful cute crockery and you have a very nice morning.

Worth cycling, walking or driving to! You can enjoy a delicious lunch and drink on the terrace of this cozy, small-scale and foreign-looking B&B. My Anti-oxidant smoothie paired perfectly with the Omega-3 salad (nice, such names), which was beautifully served and was more than enough for a good afternoon snack. Reservations are advisable to ensure a spot!

This location is a true gem! A unique location in the countryside. Very friendly people and delicious dishes!

What a wonderful place to sit! We had a high tea for 8 people and it was so beautifully arranged. Enjoyed the homemade snacks and enjoyed the beautiful place. It was neatly announced in advance that coffee was not included in the high tea, but definitely don't skip it! We will definitely come back again.

Delicious food and drinks, but priced quite high for the amount of food.

Absolutely lovely - the staff are really kind attentive and friendly, the food was delicious (we had the eggs benedict which was perfect) and the cakes and coffee were great. Setting is peaceful and scenic. So good we came back every day we were in Zutphen

This is a super nice place where you can cycle beautifully. And when you get there, you will find an original tea garden with delicious food and great service.

We came here with our family for a Pentecost brunch. We had made a reservation by calling (which was a good thing: it was quite busy). We had a nice spot on the terrace. We found the service extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They serve delicious homemade pastries and savory dishes here. I shared the BLT (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato) and 't Kronkelwaardje with my girlfriend and they tasted good. It's the first time I've had chicken on my BLT, but it was very tasty (actually it's not a BLT anymore, but oh well). The chicken was very tender. Everything was fresh. 't Kronkelwaardje is for people who find it difficult to choose or who would like to try several things. You get: their home-made spinach pancake, eggs Benedict (with salmon on toast), fresh orange juice and a pastry of your choice. We chose the cheesecake with mango and passion fruit: a delicious cake! Not too sweet, happy and super fruity. Plenty of vegetarian options here. They also serve good coffee, but also tasty lemonades and smoothies. You can enjoy cycling and walking in the area. This place is not accessible by car. You can park at the campsite (neighbors of the tea house). A short walk on the dike only offers added value: at least you know where you are. This is definitely recommended!

De Kronkelwaard is located in a beautiful location on the IJssel. Perfect stopover during a walk or bike ride, but also the perfect place to simply have a nice lunch. The people are very friendly, hospitable and take the time to make you feel welcome. Everything is freshly prepared and homemade. The decoration is also not forgotten. This really is a wonderful place for an ultimate moment of enjoyment for yourself!

Celebrated my birthday with our family with a high tea for 9 people. Friendly staff on the phone and it was super busy on the day but staff remained friendly. You can still sit inside after consultation. Eating in 3 rounds, with homemade products, very tasty and explanation was given for each dish. Pleasant surroundings and we had a very nice afternoon. Very nice location. Just choose the right direction from the parking lot and don't listen to Google, because then you end up on the cycle path. The iced coffee and cake was delicious.

A very generous Easter breakfast for 4! We had a lot of fun. A cozy furnished space. The enthusiastic service made the experience even more fun!! And of course the sweet cuddly dog, what a sweetheart. Thank you very much :) The parking lot is a 5-minute walk, the path to the building is clear

Meandering through the landscape, a tip brought me to this place. And that was absolutely worth it! Go taste it yourself!

Eerlijk is eerlijk, ik had wat bedenkingen op basis van de ligging en de aanlooproute. Echter, de lunch was uitstekend; de gerechten en de service beiden goed verzorgd. De boerenomelet was uitstekend en ga je in de stad niet beter vinden. Een leuke plek om eens naar uit te wijken!

Been several times, beautiful place with hospitable people. Even the way is shown. Very fan of the extensive high tea. Always 'custom' food (if desired) and everything home-made. Also very nice for a special occasion such as a baby shower, even the decorations are taken into account!

A nice place to pamper yourself after, for example, a nice walk along the IJssel. Tasty home cooked food.

This popular tea garden is located near De IJssel in a beautiful nature reserve. The High Tea and lunch are excellent. You can enjoy this, among other things, in a gypsy wagon. The hostess and host are very friendly and customer-oriented.

Super plek!! Prachtig huisgemaakt gebak, heel vriendelijke medewerkers en geweldige locatie.

Vriendelijk personeel.attent en correct.vertelde wat er geserveerd werd Mooie en rustige omgeving Mooi weer.

Deze plek is echt super! Wij waren er op zondag het was heel druk en warm. Maar de service leed er totaal niet onder. 10 sterren voor de bediening, maak het niet meer mee dat ondanks de drukte de vriendelijkheid zo hoog blijft! Hier komen wij graag terug. Enige min puntje dat de trampoline nu niet veilig te gebruiken is, zou fijn zijn als die tijdelijk verplaats is tot het bomen probleem opgelost is.

Hele gezellige plek. Mooie tuin, met prachtige bloemen. En lekkere smoothies.

Vandaag met mijn vriendinnen heerlijk geluncht bij de Kronkelwaard. Super vriendelijke en gastvrije bediening. Alles is zelf gemaakt en smaakt zalig (vooral de cheesecake). Idylisch plekje bij de IJssel met een fijne zonnige tuin waar je lekker weg kijkt. Een adresje waar we zeker terug gaan komen!

Een geweldige sfeervolle locatie en het eten was verrassend en echt heerlijk. Wij zaten in de ‘stacaravan’ buiten. Helaas is er maar 1 toilet.

Heerlijke plek om een dag goed te beginnen of een mooie herinnering te maken. Alles wordt vers en met liefde klaargemaakt en dat proef je.

Echt leuk hier. Mooi weer dus heerlijk met de honden in het bukhuus gezeten. Wat een vriendelijke mensen van dit bedrijf. Het was druk maar dat maakte het ook gezellig. Het eten was erg lekker, vers en smaakvol. Precies zoals ik het ook zou willen als ik in de horeca zou werken. Kortom aanrader en we komen zeker terug!

Wat een fantastisch plekje! Eerst gestopt voor lunch met een vers sapje, daarna lekker lekker gewandeld over de dijk en teruggekomen voor koffie en thee met een taartje. Alles (echt alles!) was super lekker, de bediening was perfect en je kan hier heerlijk zitten in een fantastisch mooie omgeving. Een dikke aanrader en we komen graag nog eens terug.

Amazing coffees and food in a lovely setting. Located right next to the cycle track this gem of a place really surprised us. Superior barista coffee (beans from the famous De Pelikaan coffee roasters in nearby Zutphen) are combined with the best home baked cakes, slices and brownies. The owner lived in New Zealand for part of her life where she learned all her best baking skills. A world away from the usual ‘koffie met appeltaart’ oversold Dutch staple. Highly recommended for breakfast too. While along the cycle path it is also easily reachable by car. Google maps direct you to a spot too far removed, but keep driving for a bit and you’ll find the first sign post taking you there.

Wat een feest om hier van een high tea te genieten. De entourage is schitterend, aan een dijkje tussen de weilanden. De bediening super vriendelijk en correct. En de drie gangen high tea: alles vers en professioneel gemaakt. Heerlijk van smaak en liefdevol gepresenteerd. Een aanrader voor iedereen. Douze points, zullen we maar zeggen, op deze songfestival-dag.

Vandaag een fantastisch tot in de puntjes verzorgde high tea voor een grote groep beleefd. Allereerst grote complimenten voor het eten, oprecht de kwaliteit van culinaire hoogstandjes! Het personeel was erg vriendelijk, en door het onverwachte zonnige weer bleek ook hun flexibiliteit top te zijn waardoor we al snel met zn allen buiten zaten! Super bedankt! ♥️

Wat een leuke plek op een mooie locatie. Ik kende het niet ondanks dat we in de buurt wonen, een verborgen schat. Heerlijke cheesecake gehad en thee erbij. Mooie ruime tuin om in de spelen met een bal of op de trampoline. Idealiter kom je op de fiets want je kan er mooi fietsen in de omgeving. Met de auto kan de navigatie je een doodlopende weg insturen. Even opletten dus.

We komen hier al een half jaar met enige regelmaat. Echt een plek waar je je thuis kunt voelen. Goed verzorgd, heel goed eten (alles duidelijk met liefde huisgemaakt) en vooral.. de beste koffie in een wijde omtrek. Absoluut een aanrader.
