On Saturday, July 5th, six of us dined at Thuis Eten in Dronten. Unfortunately, our experience with the food was very disappointing. The prime rib was burnt and tough, which we also mentioned to the staff. Unfortunately, little was done about it; we were told we "should have mentioned it immediately," even though we had already discussed it at the table. No service or compensation whatsoever was offered. The table service was generally friendly, but with the limited number of guests that evening, it could have been a bit more prompt and attentive. It took an unnecessarily long time for the dishes and drinks to be served. For a restaurant with this reputation, we expected more—both in terms of food quality and service. Unfortunately, we won't be back.

Op zaterdag 5 juli hebben we met zes personen gegeten bij Thuis Eten in Dronten. Helaas viel de ervaring tegen. De entrecote was verbrand en taai, wat we ook aangaven bij het personeel. Helaas werd daar weinig mee gedaan; we kregen te horen dat we dit "direct hadden moeten zeggen", terwijl we dit aan tafel al bespraken. Er werd geen enkele vorm van service of tegemoetkoming geboden. De bediening aan tafel was op zich vriendelijk, maar met het beperkte aantal gasten die avond had het allemaal wel wat vlotter en attenter gekund. Het duurde onnodig lang voordat gerechten en drankjes werden geserveerd. Voor een restaurant met deze uitstraling hadden we meer verwacht — zowel qua kwaliteit van het eten als qua servicegerichtheid. Helaas voor ons geen herhaling.

Delicious meal at home. They have a shared dining concept where you order different, smaller dishes. All dishes were tasty. Definitely worth a try.

Thuis heeft een shared dining concept waarbij je meerdere, wat kleinere, gerechten eet. We hadden de camembert, biefstuk, tataki, zalmtartaar, lamsspies, ravioli en als dessert een pannenkoek en de browniecrumble. Alles was hartstikke lekker. Dit restaurant is zeker een aanrader.

Delicious food! Nice concept by ordering 3 or 4 dishes per person and then sharing them with each other. I do know that I won't share the spicy pumpkin, tataki and sirloin steak next time! How delicious those dishes were! But the rest was also very tasty!

Great place but unfortunately not enough staff to provide us with dinner in time to catch the performance in the Meerpaal. Pricey drinks. €7.50 for a glass of wine and more than €5 for a can of 0.0

Very tasty meal! We had the Korean chicken & the burger with fries. Normally I don't like the fries at many restaurants, but these were delicious!

What a great place! It is a homely place, as the name suggests. Wonderful music, simply a wonderful ambiance. The staff is extremely friendly and happy to help. In our case there were a number of food allergies, but this was not a problem at all! A list appeared with all kinds of options. Very tasty food, full of flavour! Highly recommended!

Delicious Asian sweet potato soup with prawns. The ham and cheese sandwich also looked tasty out

Delicious lunch. Daughter gluten free, tacos. Gluten-free bread instead of tortilla. Was delicious. I made my own tomato soup, it was delicious, but way too much for my kiwi stomach. Luckily I was able to take it home. Still enjoying it at home.

In fact, every time I eat here I come back disappointed. Dishes are just not up to scratch, service is constantly changing and inexperienced and there is no real cozy restaurant atmosphere. Ate again yesterday. So we had something to celebrate so we asked for hummus as a bread platter with drinks. The humus arrived at the same time as the starters. Tartare was fresh but had no taste. We hadn't finished the starters yet (so three because we had received hummus at the same time) before the main course had already arrived. No time to have a glass of wine. Then have some wine after dinner for dessert. Unfortunately my wife got wine and my dessert already came. They also wanted to bring coffee but we were able to prevent that (coffee with wine is not tasty) The negative highlight was the chairs. I really left with back problems

Cozy place, friendly waitress, but food was ok, nice fansy delivery but tastewise meal was just OK. I would not come back for food specifically, but rather for coffee and atmosphere.

Very cute and calm place coffee was excellent and the food was delicious, definitely try the cake of the day ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️fresh ingredients and the strawberries tasted like they where just harvest from the forest

Great experiences at THUIS. You can definitely come here for a nice lunch. The dishes are beautifully served and taste very good. Portions are also quite sufficient!

A cozy place where you can relax. Too bad the map was quite brief. And with my gluten intolerance I couldn't get spelled bread or gluten-free bread. There was no more brown bread even for my girlfriend. And that at 2 p.m. in the afternoon. Another card would be available in March, an employee said.

Had a quick cup of coffee. No service came to the table. Walked to the bar to order. The coffee was mediocre, not a nice cream layer. The cappuccino had excellent taste and temperature. Unfortunately, one of us was missing the cookie with the coffee. Decor and atmosphere of Home! and location on Redeplein is fine.

Kleine porties lekker eten. Hoofdgerechten werden niet tegelijkertijd opgediend. Nagerechten ook niet, ene was al lang op toen anderen kwamen. Drankjes werden vergeten en koffie duurde erg lang.

Deze keer viel het helaas wat tegen…lunchplank met grilde groenten maar d ehelft was te zwart, erg droge falafel en salade/couscous ook niet erg smakelijk. Bovendien door de slechte akoestiek heel lawaaiig. Wel vriendelijk personeel en prima koffie.

Afgelopen week heerlijk op het terras een kopje koffie gedronken. Erg leuke en sfeervolle zaak. Zeer gastvrije en vriendelijke bediening. Een echte aanrader. Op 2 juli hier gegeten. Opnieuw een erg goede en lekkere ervaring. De gerechten waren heerlijk. De bediening was opnieuw zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Zoals het hoort. Je voelt je hier echt "thuis". Top bedrijf. Ook heerlijk om er even te borrelen. Nog steeds niets aan kwaliteit ingeboet. Top.

Oogstrelend, supervers, groenten uit eigen moestuin en vriendelijk personeel. Kortom: Bij Thuis kun je met blindelings vertrouwen Genieten!!!

Op loopafstand van de Meerpaal, vonden we deze gelegenheid om nog snel wat te eten voor aanvang van de voorstelling. Het vriendelijke en attente personeel had alle begrip voor onze tijdgebondenheid en zorgde desondanks dat we onverwacht heerlijk relaxed getafeld hebben. Pluim voor de keuken waar de lekkerste verassingen worden gemaakt en de vriendelijke kok die persoonlijk aan zijn gasten komt vragen hoe het smaakt. Top 👍 ps vedett bier op de tap, lekker!

Heerlijk gegeten. Broodje met een lekkere verse kruidenboter en een goede oljjfolie. Hoofdgerecht Koreaans kipgerecht met rijst en kimchi en een burgermenu met verse frieten. Toet Nemalaka heerlijke Japanse chocolademousse met lemon en mini krakeling. En een cappuccino. Alles supervers leuke en goede bediening. Top weer.

Gezellig en leuk restaurant, de lunch viel mij tegen. De clubsandwich met kippendij was veel te vet en flauw. Mijn partner genoot wel van tosti. Garnituur was prima en trouwens de koffie ook.

Leuke tent leuke sfeer en leuk personeel

Goeie sfeer, wel fris als de deur open gaat alle kou komt gelijk naar binnen. Medewerkers waren vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Verse frietjes erg lekker. Voorgerecht oosterse tartaar ook super lekker.

Het was wel lekker. Maar kan iets meer aandacht en smaak gebruiken.

Weer super lekker gegeten! Zo een leuke plek om te lunchen! Elke keer is het genieten. En je verschillende smaken ervaren!

Op valentijn met mijn liefste heerlijk daar een "Bakkie Gedaan, leuke service en zelfs verse hart koekjes .ook op terras was het al druk met het februari zonnetje . Sins we naar Dronten zijn verhuisd is dit onze vaste plek voor koffie en lunch

The food is amazing! New takes on classics, but they taste so good! Very healthy as well. Portions are quite big. There was also an Asian plate to share with your table that I want to come back and try one day. The atmosphere is nice even if it is a bit live laugh love core. The only downside is that the service is very slow. It feels like they are understaffed. They serve local drinks.

Meerdere keren al gezellig iets gedronken bij Thuis, maar gisterenavond was echt een tegenvaller. Om 22.45 werd ons gevraagd het pand te verlaten, omdat we de enige klanten nog waren en er alleen nog maar kosten voor Thuis waren en geen opbrengsten meer (personeel en energie). Verbijsterd Thuis verlaten!

Uitnodigend, gemoedelijk restaurant met vriendelijke bediening en (h)eerlijk eten. Een aanrader voor een ieder die samen of met een groep wilt weten. Het voelt als "Thuis".

Super gezellig, goed en tof gegeten. Leuke bediening. Volgende keer in Zeeland (goes) zeker terug.

Had a family lunch with my oldest son and his girlfriend in booming Dronten! THUIS (=HOME) is a modern restaurant and lifestyle shop at the central square of Dronten with inside and outside dining managed by a young and sparkling team. The menu is a mix of traditional and funky food, suitable for all preferences. Portions are US size and all home-made. I had a Ceasar Salad and the family ordered HotDuck (hotdog of duck) and PokeBowl (with salmon, kimchi, noodles and wakame) all looking great. The Ceasar Salad was the best ever, home-bbq-ed chicken-thighs, anchovies, wellcrisped bacon, fresh romaine lettuce and loads of fresh red-onions, pickles and nice olives. Great also … the salad was NOT swimming in the obligatory parmesan-dressing. Very well balanced salad with freshly baked bread! A complete meal but really the best Ceasar Salad I ever had!!

Heerlijk gegeten, op het terras. Reserveer wel even van te voren. Ruime plekken. Zeer goed eten, bediening staat je graag te woord en is erg behulpzaam. Zeker een aanrader.
