Amazing food! Best Italian in town. Definitely recommend if you're looking for fresh and authentic Italian food.

Het eten was heerlijk. Ze waren netjes en aardig. Maar we zaten bij de keuken en de deur naar achterom waar mensen om de haverklap gingen roken. Dan sloeg die deur dicht en kwam er een ijskoude vlaag lucht over ons. Het was buiten 0 graden. Onze tafel was maar half gedekt. Toen ik bestek vroeg vergaten ze mij, mijn man kreeg het wel. Meteen onze servetten meenemen was er ook niet bij en de waterglazen kwamen weer een ronde later. Rommelig en geen leuke plek om te zitten. Het eten was wel echt lekker maar vanwege de plek schaamde ik me voor onze vrienden die we uitgenodigd hadden. Toe. We binnenkwamen waren er lege tafeltjes voor vier gereserveerd.aar wij hadden ook gereserveerd en werden bij de keuken geplaatst.

Trattoria da Peco is een fantastisch restaurant in Heerlen. Een mooie inrichting; mooi gedekte tafels met linnen. De kaart is uitgebreid en de gerechten zijn heerlijk en van goede kwaliteit. Peco en Loredana zijn fantastische gastheer en gastvrouw. Vriendelijk, professioneel en gastvrij. Peco heeft altijd wel een mooie fles wijn die hij kan adviseren. Aanrader.

We have been coming to Peco for years, the welcome is always very hospitable and there are always dishes outside the already very extensive menu, especially fish and season related, such as asparagus, game, etc. The wine list is also very nice and affordable. The fish and meat carpaccios are definitely recommended, as are all the pastas. Absolutely the best restaurant in Heerlen.

Just great, but there almost every week. Delicious food, at a fair price.

First of all, the food is just good and the staff is friendly. Often there are long waiting times or reservations are not taken into account (half an hour wait but a glass of prosecco as a compensation).

Gluten free options are possible! Nice food.

Smakeloos en "uit een pot" gegeten....calamari van de Sligro, "Fior di latte" was een gewo e mozzarella van de supermarkt....groenten uit een pot bij een entrecote, en zelfs de tiramisù was bijna smakeloos.....way overpriced en matige gerechten, elke andere Italiaanse restaurant had beter gescoord vanavond!

This place is the gem of Limburg! Peco, his wife, and incredible team have the finest selection of wine, food was perfect, and watching how they treat all their customers it’s clear they enjoy the human touch! Grazie Mille!

Yesterday we reserved a table for 4 people at 7 p.m. However, upon arrival there was no table available and we were asked to take a seat at the bar. After us, more people came to wait at the bar, but they were able to go to their table after a short time. We finally went home at 8:00 PM without having had any food. There is clearly overbooking going on here. While waiting, you can also see how the owner is scolding his hard-working staff in front of customers. Very very rude owner!! We will never come here again!!

An evening out with four friends. We started with our starters which were quite good. Then all four of us had the linguine vongole. The dish was so extremely salty that all four of us decided to send it back to the kitchen because it was inedible. (and we have never sent anything back to the kitchen in our entire dining career). New round, new opportunities: we got a new pasta vongole where the portion of vongole had been halved. But unfortunately the amount does not end up on the account. Two friends had the cheese board for dessert. This came completely without explanation and with cheeses in the category of La vache qui rit. And to top it all off: truffle ice cream with whipped cream in a generous layer of balsamic vinegar. After informing the staff of this, the owner came back smiling and said that this was a mistake. People in the kitchen thought it was chocolate sauce. Final score of this experience: a bill of 266,- (including 3 bottles of wine). And a missed opportunity, it would be nice if the owner had acknowledged that this was not very nice. And, for example, a bottle of wine had been deducted. And I didn't try to stick it together with 4 glasses of limoncello. Once but never again. Ciao!

Delicious food, everything tasted fresh and authentic. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Expected more. The food itself was not bad, but not very exciting either. Sturdy for the price, a bit too firm, if you ask me.

Pizza tonno and my partner had spinach lasagna. Pizza tonno was totally tasteless. Pizza dough was old and tough. The taste was very flat. And there was so much mozzarella on it that each bite took more time to chew away the gum. Spinach lasagna was a joke! The so-called green specks that were supposed to represent the spinach swimming in the many béchamel tomato sauce. The entire plate was submerged in the sauce with loads of mozzarella that also served as chewing gum. It is not freshly made at all but prepared in advance and put in the microwave oven. The burnt spots along the plate were certainly meant to represent freshness. The basket of sandwiches only arrived on the table after half an hour after the staff noticed that the lasagna included sandwiches. Buns were old and tough. Staff looked like they were working reluctantly. Such a shame... Trattoria's entourage was very beautiful with all those black and white photos. A visit from Gordon Ramsay would not be an unnecessary luxury.

While looking for an Italian restaurant in Heerlen, we accidentally came across this place. After looking at the digital menu we decided to eat here. We visited the restaurant on a sunny Thursday evening in August around 5:30 PM and sat on the terrace in the shade of a roof consisting of grape vines. We were kindly received and served very quickly. I chose an Emilia-Romagna pizza, my friend a Margherita pizza. My pizza was well topped and I loved it! Then we shared a panna cotta with caramel, also delicious! One point of criticism: the prices on the website are not up to date, but are still reasonable (e.g. 3 euros for a glass of soft drink, 16 euros and 11.50 euros for our pizzas). All in all a very pleasant dinner and certainly an address to remember.

Good Italian restaurant where you can eat outside on the roof terrace when the weather is good (unfortunately walled and therefore without a view). Tasty and fresh dishes, plenty of choice and sufficiently large portions, hygienic and friendly, normally priced. Definitely worth it, but not a high-flyer that I would recommend.

Delicious dishes with fresh ingredients. Enough choice on the menu, but certainly not an oversupply. Fair price-quality ratio. The staff is a well-oiled machine: perfectly coordinated, warm welcome, attentive without being pushy. Tables and the kitchen (where you can look inside) are spotless. Very happy we ate here!

Place looks nice and luxerious and service is good, that doesn´t mean that the food is amazing. #Ossobuco, with Risotto can´t really recommend it, as the rice was just cooked in water and not like a tasty italian Risotto should be. Meat was not too much for +25EUR and reviews here, mention small portions + my Soft-Drinks, 0.2. Maybe Pizza, or Steak, are better there but for the 1st expierence I expected much more.

Surprised by my daughter for Father's Day with dinner here. Nice welcome and we were quickly seated at a neatly set table. A bit boring place, in a corner partly behind a curtain. As a result, it is less atmospheric than expected. The bruschetta beforehand was tasty and fresh but nothing special. The main courses were not really a taste explosion, tasty but a bit flat in taste. The desserts were tasty, the panna cotta was a one-biter, very minimal. The service was neat and correct but not really friendly, everyone seemed rushed. I think we will come back sometime, but more for a quick pizza.

Verschrikkelijke kwaliteit. Het restaurant wordt volkomen overschatt. Salade is geen salade. Kalfsvlees is een schoenzool.

De wachttijd is veel te lang (3 kwartier), veel te veel azijn op de salade. Saltimbocca was taai. De gemengde groente is half rauw en niet vers. Zeer slechte prijs-kwaliteit verhouding

Probably the best and, in my opinion, most authentic pizza I’ve ever had. Attentive, friendly service and a nice setting.

A nice Italian restaurant in the center of Heerlen. I like the food itself, but I miss that little bit extra. A little spice perhaps. The service was friendly and did everything they could to please us. What I unfortunately noticed was a tense atmosphere and less good communication between staff members who came to take orders and the kitchen/restaurant owner. Nevertheless, the confusion was neatly resolved and we ate well. Desert of trio of mousse was delicious!

A food shed with service that doesn't understand it at all..

Wij komen hier altijd graag. Soms een hele tijd niet en dan weer regelmatig. Vriendelijk personeel en heerlijke gerechten. Wanneer je vroeg gaat, is het ook leuk met kleinere kinderen (eigenaren zijn super leuk met kids).

Great experience... Have to be conservative so not a 5 star review all-around... Some dishes need improvement especially the antipasto. The ice cream could have been of a higher level with homemade Italian ice cream instead of the cheap supermarket stuff. The owner is a great guy! And kids can eat half price!

Been there before, nice and tasty. What I heard from others is unfortunately correct. You can no longer eat in peace here. Starter, main course and dessert are served without any interval. The older woman serving does not have a hospitable appearance. Rest was pleasant. Got the impression that tables were double booked. Last time, there are nicer restaurants where you feel like a guest.

Celebrated my 50th birthday at 'da peco', had a delicious meal with 11 people and the service was excellent. Beforehand we were allowed to decorate the table and we were allowed to eat a self-baked 50-cake (by a family member) as dessert while enjoying a cup of coffee! We will definitely go back here again.

Reserved table with the woman, come in...the whole place is packed. While groups of people were waiting here and there, we were asked to wait at the bar. Leave after fifteen minutes and order Chinese at home, tip: don't take too many reservations. Food that passed by smelled good and looked delicious. We will come back again, but on a weekday.

Wanted to go for dinner today, but despite having made a reservation it was super busy. There were at least 10 waiting. We will definitely try it again, but not on Saturday.

Clean and tidy place. The attention from the employees is impeccable. The food is exquisite. As a recommendation, try the ravioli and the plates to share.

We came here for Valentine's Day supper and we're so glad that friends had recommended the place to us. Despite being extremely busy, service was excellent and we had no delays in receiving our food and drinks. This was our first visit and yet we were treated like old guests. Food was excellent and very good value for money. Definitely recommended & would definitely return.

Horrible! Went here on Sunday, had the same starter together (vitello tonnato) and both were very sick from it, crawling with stomach pain and had to take shifts in the toilet. Really worthless, not cheap and then I had this to take home as a bonus! Great 👍 next time just go to the other side! #neveragain #bad

Cela faisait longtemps que je voulais essayé ce restaurant, et malgré les avis plutôt moyens nous avons réservé. Nous arrivons, table pas prête on nous offre un Proscecco au bar : parfait. Après ça se gate: la table dans un coin sans lumiere, obligé de lire ma carte avec le téléphone mais on nous mets des petites bougies...que le patron nous retire 30min plus tard pour les mettre sur une autre table, sans dire bonsoir, pardon...les entrées avec Brucchetta plus que moyennes, après 30min d'attente et un deuxième apéritif. Puis après 1h d'attente, on nous apporte les plats, que nous n'avons pas commandés, nouvelle attente de 10min, finalement nos plats arrivent. Raviolis ok mais franchement sans plus, mieux vaut aller chez Enzo, ou même en face. Nous sommes restés 2h au final, même si nous n'etions pas pressés, cela fait long pour de la qualité très moyenne, un service limite hautain qui se fiche qu'on soit là ou pas, et qui nous a même fait encore attendre 5-10min au comptoir pour payer. Donc comme visiblement, nous sommes des clients negligeables, bonne nouvelle pour vous, vous ne nous verrez plus.

Wij hebben een verrassend heerlijke avond gehad bij Da Peco. Zeer hoffelijke, professionele bediening. Het eten was heerlijk en goede porties. Nette zaak. Wij komen zeker terug.

Heel lekker gegeten vanavond. Authentieke Italiaanse gerechten en een lekkere huiswijn. Het was erg druk, dus ik vermoed wel dat het personeel ietwat gestrest was, maar ze waren wel vriendelijk.

Prijs qwalitijd verhouding is niet goed. Beetje pretentieuze plek. Onbeschoft bedinig.

Heerlijk vers eten, een echte Italiaan

Een fantastische avond gehad. Eten heerlijk .De bediening top. Echt een aanrader!

Helaas moet ik zeggen dit doen we nooit meer. 30 min gewacht voor er eens gevraagd werd of we iets drinken wilde. Nog een dikke 20min op die drankjes moeten wachten eten besteld dat kwam wel redelijk vlot porties heel klein. Ik ben geen grote eter dus dat zegt al wat. Dessert zijn we maar elders gaan eten en ook om de rekening heb ik 3x moeten vragen. Zonde zonde zonde

De kwaliteit van smaak, hoeveelheid en presentatie is al meerdere keren subliem 👌 Bediening is rustig en vriendelijk. Afstand tafels biedt fijne privacy. Restaurant is sfeervol en clean ingericht. Minpunt is de voor ons te koele temperatuur van de ruimte en de ontvangst mag meer van de zonnige Italiaanse vriendelijkheid hebben. We willen ons gast voelen. Beslist een aanrader voor mensen die van lekker en eerlijk Italiaans eten houden. Buon appetito 😋

Sehr angenehmes, familiengeführtes Restaurant. Reichhaltige Speisekarte für alle Geschmäcker. Speisen fein zubereitet. Ich habe mir nie etwas gewählt, was nicht schmeckte, was ich wiederholt bestätigen konnte. Gute Weine. Sehr zuvorkommender Service. Super in der Innenstadt gelegen mit Parkhaus wenige Meter entfernt. Immer gerne wieder. Wir hatten glücklicherweise reserviert. Service, wie immer, bestens. Gelungener Abend.

Very good food and nice service. The owners are very friendly to all customers including local and foreigners. Book before come on the weekends. It is very difficult to have a seat on weekends evening without a reservation.

Great place to eat Italian food, great food, great ambiance and fairly priced.

Mijn eerste keer bij Da Peco, het restaurant geeft een luxe indruk. Prijzen zijn iets hoger dan gemiddeld. Jammer dat ze mijn Cola Light uit een grote fles serveerden, de koolzuur was eruit. Wel een verse nieuwe gekregen. Ik had de tournedos met ganzenlever, heerlijk. Toetje is bij mij standaard, Dame Blanche. Wat hiermee was gebeurd is, geen idee. Het was ijs met slagroom in oorlog. Helaas vergeten een foto te maken, ook nog koude chocoladesaus erbij, even de tekst gecontroleerd zou warme moeten zijn. Volgens de serveerder was het erg druk. We gaan nogeens terug ondanks de teleurstelling, zal hetzelfde bestellen... Inmiddels weer terug geweest, helaas was de teleurstelling groter dan de eerste keer. Na een tafel hebben gekregen hebben we 15 minuten gewacht voordat er iemand kwam vragen of we iets wilden drinken. Naast ons een elektrische verwarming op een standaard, ik waande me in een soort poef. De bestelde voorgerechten waren heerlijk, mijn biefstuk, dezelfde als hierboven, was de €28 helemaal niet waard. De foto van de Dame Blanche heb ik nu wel toegevoegd, zag er weer niet uit. We gaan niet meer terug, op zoek naar een Italiaan die zijn prijs wel waard is. Oja, de vorige keer kon ik geen fooi bij het factuurbedrag bij pinnen. Nu wel, was ook de baas die afrekende. Heel raar, maar jammer voor het personeel. Dus van 3 naar 2 sterren.

een slechte ervaring rijker. alleen jammer dat we er ook nog veel voor hebben moeten betalen. We hebben zoveel minpunten geteld , dat het er teveel zijn om op te noemen. de prijs kwaliteit was het gewoon niet waard. Kan niet begrijpen dat mensen tevreden dit restaurant verlaten. wij waren er de 1ste keer maar noooooit meer.

Matige ervaring. Koude lasagne met ham(?) en de pasta van mijn vrouw waarvan de zalm echt te droog is. Hier gaan eten door de goede reviews….

Mooi Italiaans restaurant. Niet uitzonderlijk, maar beter dan "gewoon goed". Bediening is wat "traag/langzaam". Alles wat je vraagt duurt lang....eten, drinken, rekening. Dat kan echt beter.

Zeer gastvrije eigenaar en ook de rest van het personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Italiaans eten met nét dat vleugje extra.

Het heeft een uitstraling van een exclusief en goed restaurant. Maar toen mijn vrouw en ik naar buiten liepen waren we een teleurstelling rijker. Eten was flauw, personeel was iets te afwachtend, de Roemeense eigenaar doet zijn best om Italiaans over te komen, heel erg arrogant. Ik had biefstuk wat niet voor dat geld verkocht mag worden, ik heb het ook niet opgegeten en gemeld bij een serveerster. Helaas niets meer van gehoord. De wijn was overigens wel uitstekend, maar slechts een pleister op onze wonde.

Eten is erg lekker echter het duurt wel extreem lang voordat het eten geserveerd wordt. Verder galmt het erg sterk binnen, akoestische platen tegen muur/plafond zouden geen overbodige luxe zijn.

Leuke en fijne eetgelegenheid. Heerlijk gegeten en zeker een aanrader.

5 sterren voor het eten en de service: De eerste kennismaking met Da Peco is heel goed bevallen. Vriendelijke medewerkers, heerlijke gerechten en lekkere wijn, dus wat wil je nog meer? 4 sterren voor de sfeer: De akoestiek in de zaak is helaas wat minder, waardoor je moeite moet doen om een normaal gesprek te kunnen voeren.

Lekker eten. Misschien was er wat weinig personeel maar de bediening was een beetje warrig. Kregen 2x het verkeerde drankje. Ze waren wel erg vriendelijk.
