My rate: 2/5. When reading the menu we were so excited but the reality hit us hard. The food was so bad. Ravioli was raw the dough was so raw, meatballs were cold, shrimps and salmon were overcooked and many more. Soups were bland. The worst dish was Fish Casserole, the fish were raw :(. We tried almost all the dishes but the more we tried the more we got disappointed. Steak and spare ribs were only dishes that we enjoyed. The good point was staff. The tried their best to make us feel good. My husband had to go to wc to vomit because he felt sick in his stomach. It was sad as the restaurant looked cozy and staff were nice. But the food was a disaster. Not recommend!

As always, we enjoyed the food and the friendly service!

We had a wonderful meal at this tapas restaurant in Tiel. We were unfamiliar with the concept, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Small appetizers, three per round, were neatly decorated on small plates. The chef's surprise kicked off the evening. We enjoyed three rounds of hot appetizers, plus a sandwich with aioli sauce to start, and a round of desserts to finish. The orders weren't always accurate, but they always arrived promptly. Gluten-free food is very possible! This was important to my wife. The service was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back, as we had a lovely evening.

We come here regularly. But this time it was really bad; it took ages, and the food was absolutely awful. We left a lot of it behind. The service was okay; the sweet girls tried to fix it with drinks. After four rounds, we went home with an empty stomach. We'll never be back to Tiel.

I enjoyed my guests, but not VanTres. Slow and terrible service. Several times slow/late. Inexperienced and clumsy service. They put plates in one place and told guests to pass. Collecting empty plates: slow, and once a stack even fell over a guest. They landed on his head/neck... Management or management?? Not seen or heard! Unthinkable... During dinner, no one was seen, and they were calling for the next round. Conclusion: a shame. Advice: stay away.

Ate here for the first time. Everything was truly delicious. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. If we ever find ourselves in Tiel again, we'd love to come back.

We ate at this restaurant tonight. Man, oh man, we felt so sorry for the front-of-house staff. One order after another was wrong. The food took a long time, and then suddenly everything arrived one after the other after an hour. Some dishes were forgotten, and others weren't ordered, yet they were still at our table. This happened so often, even at other tables, that it became awkward to have to tell them we hadn't ordered them. The staff tried incredibly hard, but I guess there was something wrong with staffing? Or the system? Some dishes were genuinely delicious. But some weren't fresh at all, or seemed to have been sitting around waiting for a while. The trays also looked a bit dirty. We felt a bit nauseous and upset for the rest of the evening. We could see and hear the staff being stressed. Long story short, the front-of-house staff did their utmost! But unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience for us.

My number one spot. I go there about six times a year on average, and every time is just as good. Friendly and pleasant service, good food. Drinks are delicious and there's plenty of choice. Definitely try the sangrias, they're delicious. The menu is varied. Nothing to complain about.

It was my first time in Tiel City, because I had an appointment with a good friend, my former job coach, who lives in Dordrecht. I'm from B'veld myself, so I'm about halfway there. The restaurant was okay, the staff was okay, and the food was delicious. I had a really good, pleasant evening, my compliments. I parked my car at the Oude Haven, my first time in Tiel City, which was nice. It took me a while to find 't Plein. But Tres Tapas, a solid 10! I thought I could go home with that.

Deliciously delicious and again delicious, I think that is 3 times and the yellow sangria tasted really very good.

First surprise was nice after that it was really not nice anymore. Badly baked and no taste where garlic taste should be and in other dish too much herbs again. My friend and I had a lot of stomachache and still do. In terms of price and ratio really bad

We have been coming to Tr3s in Tiel for weeks now and have usually had a great time. We like the concept and have often enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the last two times have not gone so well for us, and we would like to share that. The time before that, we were placed in a corner at the very back, which would not have been a problem in itself, but as a result we were often overlooked. As a result, we could only start our third order after 2.5 hours – that took a lot of the momentum and fun out of the evening. Unfortunately, tonight it went even less well. Much of the meat we were served was cold or at most lukewarm. The ladies serving do their utmost and remain friendly, so that is certainly not the problem – they can do nothing more than pass on what comes out of the kitchen. After passing on the complaints, the food improved slightly in terms of temperature, but even then the dishes were not always right. For example, with a portion of spare ribs we got one piece without sauce and the other with an excess of sauce. That raises questions about the care in the kitchen. In short, we have always enjoyed coming, but after two disappointing experiences in a row we are a bit disappointed. We hope that there will be more attention for both the coordination between service and kitchen and the quality of the dishes themselves - then we will gladly come back.

Looked nice and cozy, employees were hospitable, a bit of a shame that they were more concerned with each other than with the customers. Had to wait 45 minutes for our dish while we were alone, and our food was also cold, which was a shame, drinks were delicious.

Service was good, we were helped quickly and the food came quickly. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated. Chairs were a bit less comfortable. Food was not good enough. Or things were missing from the dishes and were put back on while it was not mentioned. Some dishes were not prepared well. Very unfortunate.

Had dinner with a group of men for a bachelor party. Excellent food and great service by a nice, friendly and prompt waitress.

On this day, October 20, 2024, we decided to visit Tres Tapasbar. Reception was super friendly, we arrived early at 5:30 PM. We were the first so we immediately ordered what was recommended to us. We added a bottle of wine, so we thought our evening couldn't go wrong. The beginning was delicious with chef's choice, but onion soup was not complete(cheese). Garlic mushrooms lukewarm/cold and tough so old. Mini steak was good, but also lukewarm. And again it still wasn't busy. Fries of stew lukewarm/cold, most of them sent back. Tr€s schnitzel, tough, hard, lukewarm, made a long time before or left over the day before. Cheese croquet was lukewarm and dry. Cannoli hard and frozen. Cinnamon churros a ball frozen. Spekkoek with ice cream was good. If you pay €40 per person, I want the food freshly made and warm. Other dishes were substandard and we didn't even order much, but our stomachs didn't like what we ate. Had this problem all night long. Go and have a look at Goya, everything there is hot to warm and freshly made. This was the last time for us and we will not recommend it, a lot of money for little quality. But again, the girls at the service are doing their best, but the kitchen is far below par. And I won't even mention a bottle of chilled tap water for €5. Update ; 26-4-'25 After contact by email, Went back for the second time to see if things are different this time. And it was different, the dishes were tastier, hot and at the table quite quickly. And the service was again good and very friendly. Also very nice that this restaurant is actually doing something to improve the quality. We will definitely come back again. So here's 5 in everything ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Never come here again. Service mediocre, big mouth and had to repeatedly ask where drinks were or the forgotten dishes. Order Carpaccio, it looked soft pink so I sent it back. Was not carpaccio but vitello Tonato which was served by the chefs and serves as carpaccio! Dishes did not arrive for several rounds. Very unfortunate. Poor quality of what did come. Tablemate has a gluten allergy, service knows nothing about this allergy. There is even a dessert on the menu that contains gluten. We passed it on immediately. In the end we did not have to pay for 1 menu in consultation with the manager because we indicated that it was very disappointing. An attempt to compensate, but it is clear to us that we will never eat here again.

Today a first experience at Tres Tapas in Tiel. What incredibly hospitable staff, good service and delicious food. Really enjoyed it immensely!

Food not good, as several reviews describe. Cold food, steak with strange structure, tagliatelle still hard with a sour tomato sauce, many sauces probably made with a bag of Maggi. Grandma's meatball is sooo salty, read a bag of Maggi herbs. No, not good. Very friendly staff.

There was a small misunderstanding in the beginning, which was promptly resolved. Friendly service and delicious food with a wide choice. Biggest advantage: no tablet, but your order is personally taken every round. Definitely recommended for a cozy and delicious dinner

We went on March 20. Even though there were only a few tables, there was no aisle at all. Staff hang behind the bar and wait a long time after you have eaten all the food before you can order again. The food was okay. Unfortunately, a number of things were lukewarm. Normally very good experiences here, but this was really disappointing.

I have somewhat mixed feelings about this restaurant. At first you feel welcome, but then when you sit for +/- 1.5 to 2 hours the staff starts ignoring you and this gives an unwelcome feeling that made us leave. A servant asked if we wanted another dessert, we looked at the menu for 2 seconds and she was gone, probably they were no longer allowed to serve our table Pros - good food - nice concept Cons - staff will ignore you - unwelcome feeling

The 4 of us had dinner on a Monday. Service was friendly and dishes arrived quickly. It's nice that it's still personal. You can order 3 tapas per person per round and 2 desserts per person per round, which works well. There is a lot of bread and sauce with/on the dishes. Unfortunately, many dishes were not prepared properly. For example, the eggplant in the melanzane was still almost raw. The spareribs were very dry and not warm. The first steaks we ordered were super tasty medium rare while in the next round the steak was overcooked and dry. The prawn pilpil had no garlic and was not hot. The calamari were fried too long. The salmon fillet and Korean fried chicken were very tasty. Desserts were dry and lacking in flavor, there was no caffeine-free coffee. The pity was that it was really cold in the restaurant. We were wearing our winter coat, there is a lot of cold and draft coming from the windows. Overall not very bad, but price-quality - especially the preparation of the dishes was not good.

Just a very good place to eat small dishes. Staff really friendly! You can order 3 dishes per round and my tip is to do that, even if you are not very hungry at that moment. Regularly had to wait long(-ish) for the dishes. Dishes are served randomly (which is not a bad thing at all). We arrived ad hoc early on Friday evening and there was still room, congratulations!

Visited here in March 2025. You can order 3 dishes per person and you do this with the staff. The dishes are then brought to the table fairly quickly. Dessert is included. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and your staff works hard. The dishes are a nice size so you can try a lot. The flavors are very tasty and better than you are used to if you think about all you can eat. So points for this go to the chefs. Unfortunately we were sitting in a kind of aisle and that didn't improve the atmosphere. At the end of the evening we were a bit forgotten and we could no longer place orders because that is up to the staff... it suddenly took a very long time for dishes to arrive on the table. Maybe the kitchen could no longer handle the crowds? Otherwise they would definitely have gotten 5 stars. Unfortunately, missed opportunity.

The concept is nice, the space is very cozy and the employees are friendly. However, the food was quite disappointing. Many dishes were cold, the soup was thick, cold and lumpy. We also regularly received dishes that we had not ordered, including drinks. This was also on the bill (but corrected with an apology, it was not intentional). In short: a somewhat messy whole.

We actually wanted to eat at Tres on Christmas Day because we were staying in a hotel in Tiel for a few days for Christmas. Unfortunately, it was already fully booked in October. There was still room on Christmas Eve. Even on Christmas Eve, the entire restaurant was already in the Christmas spirit. Of course the decorations, but I think they have been there all December. But there was also a special Christmas card with some extra Christmas dishes. There were also 3 Christmas cocktails on top of the regular cocktails to choose from. Upon arrival we were offered a winter sangria and there was a personal card with a Christmas wish at our table. The staff also all had nice Christmas headbands. Tres is a tapas restaurant where you can order 3 tapas at a time. The difference with most tapas restaurants is that you don't fill it in on a note, but they personally come by to ask what you want. You can then indicate which and how many tapas you want. For example, you can also have 1 tapas or nothing for a while. They will come by again if you want. At first I was afraid that you would have to wait a very long time, but they came by often enough and after ordering the food came very quickly. The staff is super friendly! We arrived an hour early because the shops closed at 5:00 PM on Christmas Eve instead of 6:00 PM, but that was no problem. I especially liked the Monchou and the carpaccio. They certainly have a lot of choice of tasty desserts. Too bad we don't have that kind of tapas restaurant in Arnhem Center. There are a few, but none with as much choice and as cozy as this one with good service. If I had to mention negative points, it was that I didn't like the Patty very much and that the toilet was extremely cold. Nowadays you have infrared plates that use little power and only require a socket, which would be ideal in the toilet. When we went home, they ended it festively with a bag of chocolates to take home. If I am ever in Tiel again, I will definitely come back! Legend: 1) Terrible! I don't recommend it, I will never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I won't come again. 3) Ok, nothing wrong with that, but nothing special, nice for once. 4) Fine, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! I recommend, I will definitely come back!

I was really looking forward to it… also heard some pretty good things about it. So with good courage we enter the restaurant, which looked pleasantly busy. We were directed to the bar. I thought because we were a little early we would have to wait until the table would be free. People were leaving next to us. So then I started to have doubts. We sat at the bar where everything is prepared... the parts of the kitchen came in... where the staff prepares the drinks and consults and talks among themselves... In other words, quite noisy and hectic. Because there are a few people eating at the end of the bar, we thought... they won't let us eat at the bar, will they???!!??. And yes. After asking whether we were supposed to eat at the bar, the confirmation came. How???? You can't let guests "enjoy" the food at this place in the restaurant! So we left immediately. Very disappointed in Tres. Fortunately, we were still able to stay at the Van der Valk hotel. We had a delicious meal there and the evening was not completely ruined.

5 people! We went out for dinner around 6:30 PM and were not yet full at 10:00 PM, service was good, but the food and speed were not really! Ordered the 1st round and only received the food after about 45 minutes. The 2nd round went a little faster because we had some of it! The rest of the rounders just waited over 1 hour for 3 dishes! I don't think this is possible, it's as if they do it to get people to eat less and sit longer! RIDICULOUS!!!

Food is good, not special. What was very annoying was the strong coconut perfume of the waitress.

Had dinner with 4 people at 8:30 PM. Unfortunately we were served cold dishes. It seemed as if the dishes were already prepared and kept warm. The hamburger was cold the chicken burger was cold and fries were cold. Little to no taste in meat. Then €50 per person is very expensive and not worth repeating for us

A really nice and beautiful location of Tres tapas, super sweet staff and very atmospheric. The food was delicious too! The goat cheese with bacon is highly recommended, but actually everything here is super tasty!

Yesterday we had our regularly recurring evening out with a group of 10 people, this time at Tres tapas in Tiel. The restaurant looks attractive, upon entering we were warmly welcomed and the concept was explained to us. The surprise snacks and drinks were served quickly. We don't know what happened next, but communication between the staff seemed to be gone. The first round of tapas was on the table within an acceptable time, but when the 2nd round was recorded, there were still no dishes from the 1st round served. This was indicated several times and quickly passed on to the kitchen by the staff... Finally, the dishes were served during the 2nd round. The drink order often did not go well either. Drinks that we did not order were served and drinks that we did order took a very long time. Moreover, the bill was not entirely correct: drinks were charged for what had not been ordered. The positive thing was that the bill was straightened out without any problem. When reading previous reviews about this restaurant, a lot is recognizable. Too bad no lessons were learned: * some dishes were lukewarm/warm * most dishes tasted good * too long waiting times for drinks * generally friendly staff * waiting too long for drinks We passed these points on to the staff, who would discuss this internally....

The food was seriously bad, I eat out 4/5 times a week, but it was so dirty, it seems like everything came out of the microwave, but at the end I had to pay for everything and were fobbed off with a free drink, never to return! !!!

We have often eaten with our friends at an all-you-can-eat concept. Now for the first time at Tres. Well every dish was delicious! We enjoyed it and will definitely come back more often. The cake batter dessert is the best thing I have ever tasted. The atmosphere was also very good. Completely full on Saturday so sometimes it took a little longer but that was understandable. The wrong size beer was also resolved immediately by giving a new one from home. A really great tent!

Very good service, the employees do their best and everything is served quickly. I think the food is more fast food style and therefore very limited (much from the chip shop) and the Mexican music is very loud in this branch compared to that in Meteren where you hardly hear this music. Very disturbing. I won't come back here again but the quality of service is superb.

We had a delicious meal, we were a group of 21 people inside and it was full outside. The service was one big chaos, nothing was structured. Waiting half an hour for apple juice, for example, only to be told that it was gone. all tables were served by each other. All this was very unfortunate

Tres Tapasbar, we also had a delicious meal here. The tent is attractive, but busy and noisy. This is probably also because there is a lot of walking around serving the individual snacks. The regular table lady was quite pleasant, but the other (young) staff did not all have the same energy, appearance and friendliness. We had a very nice evening.

Lots of variety in dishes. The quality of the dishes is reasonable. Waiting time between ordering and serving both drinks and dishes longer than expected. Management does its best.

The food is certainly tasty, but the order did not arrive correctly every time 🤔. It is also inconvenient that there is only 1 men's and 1 women's toilet.

Enjoyable meal. Good food and nice staff. Smart concept, but pricey for the average eater. And a glass of (reasonable) Chardonnay for 6.80? That scares me...

Tres is a cozy restaurant. Every tapas dish is simply delicious. Really good. Sometimes the dishes are not very warm, but we didn't mind that, it's part of this concept. Tres also has a beautiful terrace where you can sit in the sun until well into the afternoon. There is plenty of parking nearby. For disabled people you need to pay attention, here and there there is a step at the entrance and the terrace.
