We went for a drink on the terrace. We asked for some nuts to go with our beer. Here, they simply charge 3 euros for a small glass of nuts. Scandalous. Normally, elsewhere, you get this included as a service. Never going here again.

Last weekend, we enjoyed a delicious charcuterie board while relaxing on the restaurant's terrace – the view was amazing. The staff were attentive and helpful the entire time. If you are looking for a quiet spot with delicious food, you have come to the right place.

Beautiful location. Large restaurant, with plenty of seating inside and outside. With far too little staff. We left after waiting half an hour for our drinks. Let alone being allowed to order lunch.

Disappointing experience: I went for a drink/snack with two friends, one of whom is diabetic. So a waffle wasn't an option for her, but "the kitchen could serve some fruit separately." Super nice, right? Until I went to pay: 10 euros was charged for the small bowl of fruit, while a waffle with fruit costs 9 euros. They should have had the decency to put the waffle on the table separately for whoever could actually eat it. Then I wouldn't have felt ripped off, as was the case. The drinks themselves were also very expensive, by the way, but apparently that is quite normal these days... Combine this with the fact that a regular cola was placed on the table first instead of the ordered Coke Zero, and I can only conclude that it was not a pleasant visit and that the service isn't really up to par. No third time for me.

The location is beautiful, especially the outdoor terrace with a view of the garden. We had lunch there and the food was fine. Unfortunately, the service was not very good. Something went wrong with every order; either the wrong thing was served or the order was forgotten. That was a real shame; I wouldn't be so quick to return because of this.

Great, super cozy both inside and out. Tasty food, good quality, and a few items on the menu that are just a little different. We did spend 4 hours here as a couple, though. You can also take a nice walk in the garden.

We had made a reservation, and when no confirmation arrived, we called. The reservation was noted for 5:30 PM, while we had reserved for 1:00 PM. But it’s a good thing we called, because we ordered a high tea for 15 people. Grrrrr

There is a severe fly nuisance; the waste is lying around and the containers are standing by the back door, which is frequently left open. Rats were also observed; they live along the ditch bank and near the compost heap.

Beautiful restaurant located in a charming old converted rectory in the countryside with a huge garden terrace and a really lovely garden. The food we had for dinner (main course + dessert) was delicious and well-portioned. A great location with friendly service and free parking across the street.

The old rectory is anything but old! A young team is ready to serve you, mastering the art of hospitality. The food is always fresh, and the variety is just right. Some background music might make it even more inviting.

A lackluster dinner in deathly silence. We were the only guests, bar one table. No music, nothing at all. A shame, because you have a beautiful view of a lovely garden. The service is very friendly and the food was delicious, but then you sit there in silence. It was so uncomfortably quiet that we didn't stay longer. A real shame for such a beautiful location. I understand why it's so quiet there.

A lovely place to sit, both inside and out! I often order carpaccio in the summer, and it's richer than anywhere else. We could call it a real "salad"! Besides that... the staff is truly fantastic! They're incredibly warm, friendly, and hardworking!

We were visiting Maastricht (Andre Rieu and we wanted to have lunch at the garden restaurant, but when we arrived the whole restaurant was rented for a private event.. unfortunately it was not mentioned on the website so we arrived to a closed door.. that was a shame.. seemed like such a nice place.. Next time will not be easy, we live in Twente..

Wedding planned, cancelled 2 days in advance due to the heat. Too sad for words, I strongly advise against a reservation. They literally messed up your wedding planning. Also, the bad news was brought by an employee, the owner apparently didn't have the balls for this. Very unprofessional..

The location is very nice. Especially in the garden with nice weather. Nice spacious parking lot nearby. 2 young girls in service both very friendly. Toilet very neat. However, we had to wait a very long time (almost an hour) for the homemade egg salad sandwich. The taste was fine but I thought 13.50 for this dish was really too expensive since it was not very special in terms of garnish or anything. Nevertheless, it is certainly nice to have lunch here.

The food here is certainly not bad. The concept that you can only arrive at 18:30 is a pity. It is then very quiet and less cozy in the restaurant.

What a great place! You become spontaneously zen as soon as you sit in this beautiful garden. I had a special beer from the house and the fish of the day, both great. Really a restaurant where you immediately want to go again.

From the outside, this gasterie looks great, in a beautiful spot between Neerbeek and Beek. However, I feel it is far too busy and noisy. There are far too many small children, both inside and outside, so there is no place at all to enjoy the food seriously and quietly. Both the interior and the terrace are also particularly atmospheric. Tables are quite close together. People do not feel comfortable or even welcome there. So I took a spa red (I also thought the price was very expensive) and quickly left. The young ladies serving were friendly and attentive (hence the 2 stars). Unfortunately, there were also a few 'middle-aged' waitresses walking around who were downright grumpy towards me. Moreover, the gasterie closes at 5:00 PM during the week, which means that you cannot eat there in the evening. All in all a real disappointment. I really think it's a shame about such a beautiful place/location.

Delicious food, two of us shared the board and our other two table companions had separate dishes. Service is also great! Only the tables inside are a bit straight forward, this could be a bit more cozy.

A beautiful location to start or end with a walk. Then have a nice bite to eat. Friendly staff. Price is reasonable. If I have one negative point or whatever you want to call it, it is the cutting board. I think that's a big deal for the price. Yes, it's for two, but still. But otherwise I like to go there.

Had lunch here for the third time today. The location is great! Beautiful, cozy, clean and near a nice walking area. The first time we were pleasantly surprised with the food. My husband had the daily special and I had the fish from the market. The second time we opted for a sandwich and a lunch platter. Today our main course was pickled meat and halibut. The pickled meat was very sweet and the halibut had a puddle of white sauce all over the plate with the vegetables in it....too bad! Unfortunately we were disappointed today!

Christmas menu, starter was not what was on the Christmas menu and honestly not tasty. Soup was cold. Main course was also not warm...Deer steak was very difficult to chew. You can't go wrong with dessert. Unfortunately not worth repeating.

We had Christmas dinner this afternoon, it was quite disappointing, it started with what would you like to drink, a delicious appetizer, well, the rest was also......... The appetizer cost €8.00 p.p., so 4 people would like fries with it, yes. please pay extra. No, it was disappointing, but the service was super good and the waitresses were pleasant. It is nice to sit there and the toilets are nice and clean.

Invited my family for a Christmas dinner, what a disappointment!... very poor, taste is debatable, but none of us liked the food... we were asked if we wanted fries, if so, you had to go again pay extra, for €52.50 pp you can expect fries to be included... the service was good and offered us a cup of coffee, but I find it very annoying that my family was not able to eat well and received so little and that at Christmas.

We come here regularly, usually for lunch. Portions are good and food is fresh and plates are nicely laid out. Service always friendly. You can also sit outside with a view of the garden and meadows. Dogs (clean and not in the aisle inside) are welcome, we often have our dog with us. Nice place. Advance reservations are recommended for dinner. Parking is available (free) on the big P opposite the Rectory.

Well if it is something I can share with your old parsonage...then it is the pleasure of the table with chairs that are not very comfortable!! .... I will definitely work on it!!...it's not really pleasant to eat like this! because the tables are not shoulder width and the chairs are perhaps a bit too low! are for the tables! ...for the rest, my compliments to the chef!!!!! and service!!!! and certainly for the atmosphere !!!!!....and that mainly concerns the outdoor terrace
