A very good and cozy restaurant. Delicious dishes at an excellent price-quality ratio. The service is pleasant and good. We've had several excellent meals here, both for lunch and dinner.

A lovely and cozy place. I was here for a wedding lunch. The fish salad had already received high reviews, but it was truly delicious.

I was able to walk in unexpectedly and got a beautiful spot in the courtyard, a wide choice on the menu, excellent wine selection and the staff was friendly.

A really nice place where we love to have lunch. One downside is that it's always a bit of a gamble because it's often full (and reservations aren't accepted, even if you say, "I'll be there now, I'll be there in 10 minutes").

A nice terrace, good dishes with a nice presentation. Alert and friendly staff. The entire terrace was served by 2 people. A well-coordinated team. Will definitely come back for lunch.

After a nice walk through Nuenen we ended up here. What a pleasant surprise. Relaxed service, delicious lunch dishes and a lovely terrace to relax. The appetizers at lunch were the icing on the cake.

After a nice walk along the Dommel, Nederwetten towards Nuenen Centrum, we had a lovely lunch here in the terraced garden. Enjoy in a nice relaxed environment.

We went here for the first time. The food was good and tasty. We were just unlucky because there were three groups there. These groups weren't noisy, but because they were a group, they did talk a bit louder. And that was something the acoustics couldn't handle. I couldn't hear my table companions well. There were three of us. Next time, I'll ask beforehand if there are any groups. It's a cozy space, not too big, with a living room atmosphere.

Very friendly and attentive staff. The value for money is excellent and the atmosphere modern-chic. Typical Dutch dishes. The address is to be tried in addition to the visit to the Van Gogh museum.

All in all, we had a very good lunch experience here, classic lunch dishes with a modern twist. The service is good, and the food is excellent! 5 stars is not enough if you also judge the price, because for this money, the lunch was simply fantastic. With a 15-year catering career, I really know what to look for for a good experience, and this restaurant has certainly exceeded that! We will definitely be back soon!

bijzonder lekker gegeten. Aardig en attent personeel ook. Het was wel overvol en door gebrek aan dempend textiel dus veel harde materialen wat geluidsoverlast cq rumoeriger dan gehoopt. Toch waren wij aangenaam verrast, met name door de lekker gerechten die schappelijk geprijst zijn. We zullen dan ook vast terugkeren.

Vandaag hebben we gegeten bij het Tweede Thuis in Nuenen. Het begon al goed. We konden de voordeur maar moeilijk vinden. Eenmaal binnen vielen we van de ene verbazing in de andere. Deze horecagelegenheid is heel smaakvol ingericht. We werden heel vriendelijk naar onze tafel begeleid. Om een lang verhaal kort te maken, we hebben daar heerlijk gegeten en in een ontspannen sfeer kunnen eten bij zeer gastvrije mensen. Verder vond ik de humor van het personeel ook heel erg leuk. Tenslotte dat je op het toilet oog in oog staat met een heuse Rembrandt wie verzint het nou. Verder hoop ik dat ik nog vaak bij jullie een vorkje mag prikken. Probeer jullie leuke benadering van klanten te behouden en met de voordeur komt het volgende keer zeker goed. Bedankt voor de leuke avond!

Interessante, innovatieve gerechten die geweldig smaken. De service is heel goed en de mensen zijn vriendelijk. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is geweldig. Heerlijk voor een avondje tafelen. Het enige jammere is dat je er alleen om vrijdag en zaterdag kan dineren.

Het is hier altijd goed toeven. Warme, gezellige sfeer. Er is buiten een leuk terras onder de "oude Lindenboom", opgesierd met tuinfakkels. Het restaurant zelf is schoon en je hebt een leuk inkijkje in de keuken. Personeel heel vriendelijk evenals de gastvrouw. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding heel goed. We werden verwelkomd met een lekkere amuse. Parkeren kan voor de deur of iets verderop in de straat. Ik vind het een aanrader 👍

Erg lekkere lunch in een mooi pand. Eigenlijk zou ik geen goede recensie moeten geven, want dan wordt het drukker en moet je echt reserveren. Maar het is gewoon goed en dus is dit echt een aanrader.

Improvement points: - Reserving a table is a bit of a hassle, you need to send an email or call them, instead of an online reservation system. - Portion of main course (beef tenderloin seemed relatively little) - Second time that they charge drinks which were not ordered. - Service is very slow. We had to wait 1 hour to get the amuse. Plus points: - The hostess is wonderful and very friendly. - Food is delicious. - House wine is very good and at a good price. - The decor and atmosphere is nice, although it can be noisy (because everyone is having a good time? ;-))

Top restaurant, met goede keuken

Amazing experience. Mostly non English speaking so we had to work together a little with that but the service, the food, the atmosphere is completely unmatched. This resteraunt has played a part in me wanting to move to the Netherlands. The value in money is astounding and I'd definitely be keen to visit again!
